The server Emma for the party room is so thoughtful and great 10/10 would recommend to friends and family

Great pizza, local favorite always pairs well w a pop or beer. People here writing bad reviews are just plain rude-long live Ledos.

The HoHoHoglunds were so tickled to celebrate Ava Jeane's First Birthday with her family and their friends yesterday. You could tell that the servers really wanted folks to enjoy good food and hospitality! We had such a nice chat with Ledo's owner. Such a dear, energetic woman, she blessed us with an awesome pizza we took home and finished baking. Delicious! Perfect crust, loaded with 'shrooms, green pepper, sausage and our fave: anchovy! Wow, after a full day of Claus visits it just hit the spot!!! read more

Busy interior on a Saturday night. Met friends here for dinner. My first time. They've been coming here for 30 years. Good pizza, love the hot giardinera w sausage pizza. Order all at bar/front then sit down & listen for your number. Kids games were a fun distraction for our young ones. Would return. read more

This review is specific to a delivery we recently had while at a friend's birthday party. My family and I were so impressed by how delicious the pizza was - the sauce had the right amount of salt, the ingredients all complemented each other, and the food was piping hot when it was delivered. While we don't live in the area, we would absolutely come back the next time we're in the area and looking for really delicious pizza! read more

I have a love hate relationship with Ledo's. The pizza and salad are delicious but I hate how expensive it is. I think the salad bar could be cheaper if you're ordering a pizza. The employees are always pleasant. Bonus for the games in the corner. I will always come back bc it's the only pizza I like. 2 salad bars, 1 large sausage/pepper/onion and one small sausage pizza is almost $65. read more

Very disappointed on my last visit. Ordered a steak sandwich (have ordered this in the past), and it was terrible. The steak was so thin, that you could not hardly taste it (my ordered was plain, so there were no toppings on it), the bread was hard at the ends and not fresh at all. It was if it was day old bread that was microwave and cooled off. There were no prices on the board. For the amount of money I paid, it was not worth it at all. I will never order a steak sandwich there again. We used to ordered wine by the cafe and their choices were limited, use to offer more choices. As, I mentioned we were very disappointed and will rethink if we will visit again. read more

My first trip back to Ledo's in 50 years yielded a marvelously old school pizza with crispy crust, rich sauce, tasty sausage, and a nice quality cheese. Definite "thumbs up"! read more

Yes had a corporate luncheon and ordered from there. No sauce and made many mistakes with delivery. I don't think corporate will order from there again read more

Decided to stop since I was in the area and order with my daughter for lunch. Placed our order for the xtra thin crust pizza at 11:25am. No idea why but it took until 12:10pm for the pizza to be done. During this time I saw there much smaller pizzas go into the warmer box for pickup and some deep fried apps come out for people that came in after us. Not sure why with only 4 tables occupied it took so long. Food is a 5. Service and speed a 1. read more

we just got two pizzas from Ledo's and they were so delicious! I used to go to Ledo's when I was a child and always loved going there. I'm glad to know that their pizza is just as good as I remember it if not better!! definitely go there and get their thin crust. Pizza with sausage! It's so delicious my whole family loved it!!! Plus, Their staff was really friendly. The other thing that we really loved is that the decor is like an old school pizza shop. no frills. read more

We stopped here for a late-ish dinner last Saturday. We had the onion rings as an appetizer, they had good flavor, the breading was crisp, and they came out hot. The pizza we ordered came out hot, the cheese was thick and chewy. It was fairly good, though otherwise unremarkable. The atmosphere was busy. There were lots of families that seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was an interesting experience, in the sense that you order at the counter, and they call your number when your order is ready, then you go up to pick it up. read more

Disappointing! My first trip to the restaurant. It is cute and clean, family friendly atmosphere. We planned on getting a pizza after a movie. Weather was cold and the hour was getting late (9PM) so we ordered a pizza to go on the phone. When I arrived at Ledo's, the pie wasn't ready, so I waited with my friend waiting in the car. After about 20 minutes I was told my pizza order hadn't gone in (it really wasn't busy) and they could make it then. It was getting late, friend was waiting in the now cold car so I declined. Refund was given, and manager offered to deliver the pizza (I live out of their delivery area). I declined. She offered a gift card for a pizza, but I declined that as well. Service was sub-par, likely I will not try Ledo's again. read more

Terrible. Absolutely. Terrible. For just under $80, yes, $80, we got a maybe tepid-warmth pizza, way over fried shrimp & the greasiest fried zucchini ever. Don't know where the quality went but after last nights delivery, will NEVER get food delivered from Ledo's again. read more

My family had their yearly Christmas Party on Sunday December 14th, and we all had an exceptionally outstanding time at Ledo's Pizza. We'd like to send our appreciation to Mia, our waitress for the evening, who brought excellent customer service, communication, and a smile anytime she walked into the room. Our food consisted of buffalo wings and chicken tenders as appetizers that were quite frankly so delicious that they were all gone within a couple minutes and of course the fantastic thin crust pizza that filled everyone up. Our party was set to end at 5:00 p.m. but the staff were generous enough to let us stay a little longer. Ledo's Pizza is an amazing time for people looking for great food and people. read more

The service was great! However the food was very disappointing. The chicken was like cardboard, and the spaghetti? A soup. And the parmesan cheese WILL be covering the entire meal. I had to literally dig through the cheese just to eat the spaghetti. The bright side is that with the amount of tomato sauce left over, you can make tomato soup! The only redeeming quality of this was the good ambience. That's it. Oh yeah by the way, the spaghetti is bland. very bland. Like as if they cooked it and just tossed it into the foil bowl. Never again. read more

Love the pizza! Cheese, sausage, peppers and onions are our favorite. Also, the breaded mushrooms are a must!! Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. We get a carafe of wine to sip while waiting for our order to be ready. You can also order ahead of time and let them know you'll be eating there. We often do this when we are on the way home from the airport. read more

We've been going to Ledo's for years but I have noticed how they've been nickel and diming every little thing. Went to pick up and order and were told fries and coleslaw were now extra charges. While I get the increase in food costs, I would question it less if the increase appeared in the sandwich and not as a separate menu item. Better places to go without the rip! read more

The pizza was good but so expensive I must not get it delivered to me because it's too expensive and I'm going to get it myself

Awesome place! food is delicious. Had a small 50th birthday party in their party room recently and was very well ran. Angie and her team provided great service and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!! read more

We were staying in a hotel nearby for a basketball tournament and this was the only place out of all the calls we made that could accommodate a large group on a Saturday night (18 people). You go up to the counter to order, which worked well for us so we didnt have to figure out the check at the end. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the last 2 people to order got their food before the first 2 people who ordered. There really was no organization to the order the food came out. Other than that, the food was good for the prices. read more

Great Tavern style pizza, tried the italian beef and giardiniera for the first time the other night and it was amazing!

Pizza was okay. Ordered a medium pizza. Only took 45 minutes to get it, and we were the only customer there. I'm assuming there were other delivery orders. The cashier was friendly. read more

When I have a great meal here I like to let others know. Our meal on Friday March 10 was just one of those meals. Three people, we ordered an eight inch well done cheese pizza, a twelve inch sausage and pepperoni pizza, a ten piece wing order (plain, sauce on the side), a large order of fries (I still contend that Ledo's has the best fries in Chicagoland), two beers and a soft drink. There wasn't one single thing to moan about. Each item was fresh and hot, received as ordered, and tasted awfully good. I don't have her name as I wasn't the one who paid for the meal, but at approximately 11:30 am the young lady taking the order couldn't have been friendlier and it was nice dealing with her. The restaurant, as almost always, was very clean and comfortable. At any other pizza joint this order would have been unmanageable at a four seat table. With Ledo's type of seating there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy your meal. We had the place to ourselves for a short time, then the screaming kids came in. I understand this is a family style place but I really do wish parents didn't let their kids run wild and scream. Seeing kids having a good time is nice, parents need to not let the kids go to extremes. Still, we three adults left in a good mood after an extremely tasty lunch. read more

I e been coming here since the business opened in the 1970's from a small strip mall business across the street. Since the original owners passed away, this business has gone from a packed house on weekends to a completely empty restaurant in a Friday night. We ordered a pizza for pick up and arrived early to get it. We were told it would be 40 minutes. We prepaid We waited and after an hour since ordering we asked about our pizza. The teenager said it would be another 15-20 minutes. She stated the pizza order was put in 38 minutes earlier. My daughter disagreed but again we waited. 20 minutes later the pizza came up but the server turned her back to us and didn't respond or give us the pizza. Teenagers running the place an employee came out of the kitchen and gave it to us. The pizza was disappointing. Mushrooms o longer fresh but canned. The sausage gas changed not the original recipe after years of craving Ledo's, it's now just a middle of the road pizza and not worth the effort to get there. read more

Really good spot for pizza and to bring a larger group. We're not from the area but we needed a spot to host about 18 people, mostly teens. We figured pizza would be the way to go. After finding them on Yelp, we called ahead to see if they would be able to accommodate us. Melissa was super friendly over the phone, not only did she reserve the time we needed but she let us preorder so that as soon as we got there our food was ready. Did I mention we had a bunch of teens? Having the food come out right after we sat down cut down on a lot of the potential chaos a group that size can have. So I was extremely grateful for that. Once we got there Melissa and the rest of the staff continued to be extremely friendly and accommodating. But the definite star of this place is their thin crust pizza. Simply delicious. It's too bad we don't live close by because if I lived in the area they would definitely be my go to spot. As far as the reviews that are complaining about price, this is unfortunately the world we live in. The price of everything has gone up, even Little Caesars has raised its prices and let's face it, their pizza stinks. The only way that any business can survive in this current environment where the cost of doing business is constantly going up, especially for a small family owned restaurant, is by passing on some of that cost to the consumer. It's just basic economics. Besides, it's not like their prices are outrageous. They are in line with any other quality restaurant of this type. I for one, do not mind paying for quality. If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by again. read more
