First time visiting. Walking in it's a cozy, small restaurant. Very clean and relaxed environment. There are around 10 tables available for dining in. Came on a Friday and it was not too busy, had no problem getting a table, many would come in and pick up their to-go orders. You place your order up front and then seat yourself, they then bring your food to your table. They offer self-serve fountain drinks or optional bottled/canned soft drinks. The open kitchen allows you to watch them as they make the pizza and use the brick pizza oven. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely going back. read more

I've never come here because I'm not a brick oven pizza person but one day I was looking for a sandwich and Billy Bricks popped up. I know that every time I've walked by, the place has been empty so I decided to go to try and support our local businesses. I'm so glad that I did! This restaurant has wonderful sandwiches that they toast in their brick oven. I had a tuna sandwich and enjoyed it very much. I told my husband so I went back there for dinner on another day and I got a salad and meatballs and my husband got the Ric's club (black forest ham, turkey, applewood smoked bacon, swiss cheese). Everything was really good! As a marinara snob, it wasn't too acidic but I'll admit the meatballs could use some more Italian seasoning or something. The salad was huge. My husband said that he enjoyed his sandwich. We will definitely be back soon for the Italian grinder sandwich and maybe pasta! I hope this business succeeds in La Grange but I know how hard it is and I don't see many people. This is one of the few thin-crust pizza places that can maintain a crispy crust after baking. I tried the sunnyside up pizza and the classic margherita, and would recommend both! Since it's thin-crust, they're not very filling so you may want to also try an appetizer or size up. When we went, we were the only people in the restaurant so it was very clean and the service was quick. I didn't know about their deals but I would definitely come back because they seem to have good specials. read more

We stumbled upon this place after getting drinks nearby. We were just looking for something small to take home with us. The restaurant was clean and inviting with several tables. We ended up ordering the bread bites. We took a seat and within minutes the to go box was delivered to our table. As we walked to the car we were both commenting on how friendly and fast the service was. When we got in the car and looked in the box we were amazed with how much was in the order. The bread bites look like halves of small breads the size of a baseball. They were steaming hot, with a crisp outer crust and a soft chewy center. The sauce cup had a fantastic chunky tomato sauce in it. The sauce was cold, so were skeptical about liking it. But since the bread was so hot, it went together just fine. The to go order did not get to go very far. We finished it off within a few blocks because one bite left you craving more. We cant wait to go back to have the pizza and some other items. We saw a sign for a $10 lunch special every day till 3 pm for a pizza and a drink. We plan to try that on our next visit. read more

Pizza is good, but had a frustrating experience. Stopped in for their $10 lunch special - any 10in pizza with a drink. What was supposed to turn into a quick lunch stop turned into an hour lunch with a 35 min wait for my pizza. Something about the oven turning off and getting cold. I went in and asked and the guy in the front seemed a little perturbed I kept asking for an update as I continuously watched customers walk out with pizzas so at this point I was just confused. 35 minutes I got my pizza and a free pizza coupon for the wait. Pizza is good, but the frustration of the staff was a little disappointing. He didn't let me know something was wrong until about 25 minutes into my wait. Then got annoyed with me that I asked him about an update (only twice). Maybe I caught everyone on a bad day. read more

Thought I'd try this place. Ordered a personal pizza with mishrooms. The $10 deal came with a free fountain beverage. Only sugared and artificial sweetener options, so I got plain tap water with ice. The pizza had almost paper thin mushrooms on it that made it impossible to taste them, and they were sparse. This is highway robbery for what you get, and the pizza was soggy except for the outer crust. Wish I would have taken a pic of the whole thing, but I was hungry. I won't be back. read more

Tasty and quick. Just did a takeout order and asked the server over the phone which pizzas were the favorites. He said both the Honey Love and Classic Margherita were the best sellers. We decided to try both the BBQ chicken and Smoked Gouda and the Bricks pizzas instead. Decent quantity of toppings and sauce, tasty and to the point. Pizzas have great flavor and are very neatly prepared. My favorites include The Bricks, BBQ Chicken and Smoked Gouda, Donna's Combo and the Very Veggie. I just went to order a pizza inside the store and the man working there was the rudest person i have ever met in my life. As i walked in he didn't say anything and i just stood there for 5 minutes, and then he said come back in 5-10 minutes i don't want you hanging around the counter. Tried for the second time, disappointed both times. Arrived at correct pick up time. Counter staff was friendly. Walked to car and drove 5 min home and both pizzas were cold. Not lukewarm. Cold.
