This is the worst slice of pizza I've ever had in my entire life and I'm not even exaggerating this genuinely ruined my appetite. Very Luke warm almost cold. The cheese tasted like nothing and had zero flavor it's like I ate those wax melts that look like food on tiktok. This pizza was so bad I threw it out even though wasting food is against my moral's. Honestly one of the best pizzas I've eaten. Barone's was just down the street from us a bit so became a go-to when neither of us felt like cooking. I got to know the owner a bit and swapped him an old set of beer mugs for a pizza once. My favorite pizza is the Godfather... Italian beef, garlic and giardiniera. We love this spot, not only because it's close to us, but because the crust is perfect. Not too thin, & not too thick. Flavor is also dynamite. Our kids love their huge pizza by the slice. We have other pizza joints near us, but we prefer this one hands down. The good: 1) Backstaff(possible owner?) was friendly and sure to come out of the kitchen to verify my order once I arrived and it was placed. 2) $3 large thin crust slices! Need I say more? 3) Very close to my home. The bad: 1) Rude front staff. The woman taking orders and ringing people up is not nice, at all. 2) Greasy pizza. The grease went through the paper covering. I'm still happy to have Barone's around. This is definitely the kind of place I could swing over for a quick, reasonably priced slice. read more

I was transferred to someone else this time only to be confronted by an extremely rude person asking me over and over more and more aggressively "What do you want me to do about it?? What do you want me to do about it??" I live just a block away and moved in over a year ago. Very thankful that I have a 'go to' pizza place within walking distance! Very good thin crust, good ingredients. Ok, now I'm done with Barone's, but I will say ONE positive thing about them: Fast delivery and the food was definitely hot. Now about that food and the delivery.... The pizza I got (thin crust with sausage) was, at best, mediocre. If I had closed my eyes and didn't know I was eating sausage, I wouldn't be able to tell because it was very bland. Plus the sauce they used tasted very bitter and acidic. Really not an enjoyable pizza. As for that delivery part, you're supposed to get a free 2-liter of pop with your pizza. I asked for a diet Dr. Pepper. The person who took my order said she wrote it down and plus she re-read the entire order back to me before hanging up. The guy brought a regular Dr. Pepper. Not a big deal, he said he'd go back and bring me the right one. Great! it's 18 hours later and I am still waiting. For some reason I don't think he's coming back. Nor am I going back to ordering food from Barone's. If I want mediocre pizza with bad tasting sauce, I'll pop a frozen pizza in the oven. read more

Ok wasn't sure at first about trying them out. We just moved to Brookfield and wanted pizza, all I can say is I'm really happy we went in and ordered. We ordered the thin crust pizza, salads and boneless wings with homemade Sauces and a killer homemade garlic dressing. Pizza had great flavor and the homemade sausage was very tasty, wings are a must try and the lasagna they serve you can make 2 meals of it. Wow! I am so happy right now! I've been looking for a great pizza out here near Berwyn for years and I have finally found it! So many pizzerias out here and yet I was still searching.....think Pete's pizza on Western or Village on Chicago &Western...mmm thin crust without being too thin, nice salty cheese, sauce near perfect , not too sweet.So good! I saw my honey grab a few pieces and hide them for later, they so will not be there when he goes looking (insert evil laugh)! Only reason 4 not 5 stars is they don't deliver to my house, I'm gonna have to figure this out. There's a Walgreens halfway between us, I may have to order it to their address!!!! This is my favorite pizza in the brookfield area. I have never been in the place, but my wife and I order from here at least every other week. The BBQ chicken pizza is the best! This is one of my favorite pizza places. I ordered a large two topping pizza and a liter soda and got it for $22 dollars. The place is efficiently run and when ever I order delivery they come in a timely manner.
