I was looking for a good pizza place in Rockford, for a date last friday (Feb 9) I was recommended various other restaurants but I was convinced to come here based on its reputation. If it was able to branch of into multiple states, they must be baking some great pies. Boy was I right, not only was the pizza one of the best i've had ( we had the Deep Dish meat and more meat pizza), the service was outstanding and far better than I expected from a pizzeria. The highlight of the service was definitely the manager. He was attentive at all times, if we asked for anything he was always happy to help with a smile. I will surely be returning and hoping that the manager, Raul, will be there. The server Amber was also amazing, she answered all our questions, as annoying as I was, and was always there if we needed something. If these two aren't the ones serving us next time, we will surely be disappointed. Others have already said how great the pies are but not many seem to acknowledge the magnificent service offered. The ambient was calm and romantic not noisy like other places, the bathrooms (the lady's bathtoom) was clean and pleasant. This is hands down the best pizza in Rockford! My wife and I went there last night and we were going to pick up a pizza and take it home. We got there and our pizza didn't have two of the toppings on it , I guess the girl that took my order didn't get it right. The Manager came out and asked us if we would like to dine in and gave us complimentary drinks and bread and corrected my pizza! He also waited on us himself! He is an awesome manager! I will continue to go to Giordano's as long as I am alive and I will tell everyone that I know to eat there and that their food and their customer service is truly amazing! read more

I went in with high expectations, but my experience ended up being pretty average. The drinks were honestly pretty bad and not worth ordering or what we paid for them. The bruschetta came out cold, which was disappointing and took away from what could have been a solid appetizer. I ordered the margarita deep dish pizza and found it to be very bland and lacking flavor, especially for something it is known for. The pizza was filling, but it did not stand out or feel memorable. Overall, it was not great and it did not live up to the hype, and I would likely choose another spot next time I am in the mood for pizza. read more

Usually I never write reviews, but I was extremely impressed by the manager who worked this evening. Although there was a mistake in our order (we ordered a cheese deep dish and received a spinach order instead), he immediately offered to make us a new one. However we were on a time crunch, and instead, he gave us one to go and the spinach order was on him. I don't believe many managers do this and I highly recommend this location. Our servers name was Ashley, she was an amazing waitress. Other than her high spirited personality, she was funny, she joked and make us laugh, and she was amazing. She did amazing with us and her other tables. She managed parties really well too. Another table was being disrespectful, bur she held her ground. I will 110% be coming back. Had new cooks i guess. Since there is no good pizza places in Belvidere, we have been going there once a month for about 4 yrs for the Stuffed Pizza A++++ all the time except last night.Flat.,cold cheese and not enough sauce on top.Manager was very kind and said it did not look right.Gave us 2 Medium take home to make Pizza's.Paid the bill. Just celebrated my daughters surprise 16th birthday at the Giordano's in Rockford. The wait staff Amber and Tammy were the best. We had 40 people and they kept the glasses full and the pizza buffet full. Couldn't have asked for a nicer time. They let me come in mid afternoon and hang posters and a birthday banner. Just moved to Rockford from Chicago, I've been a Giordanos fan for more than 20 years, this location has the best managment, waitstaff, even the bathrooms! great atmosphere and of course... the best food, thankyou Sergio for the great story behind the name , definitely an iconic chicago brand. read more

Excellent pizza! Be prepared to wait for a bit for that deep dish pizza - but it is worth it! Best pizza in town, in my opinion!

You can never go wrong with Giordano's service was okay but we were waiting a while waiting for our server to get us our drinks.

The food is good and fresh, but they are typically short-handed servers and the wait for a pizza it too long sometimes.

Raoul catered our event for 60 people. He met every need; food was fabulous! They'd be great for a graduation party.
