When I went to pick up I was told it would be an additional ten minutes because they were busy. No problem. I waited for another half hour. Okay, it is what it is. During that half hour other orders were completed and put in a warmer near the register. After a while I asked on the status of my food. It turns out it was done. They didn't tell me and they put it in that warmer by the register. I saw them put it in there not knowing it was mine. They just did not tell me my food was done and let me sit there waiting for almost half an hour. Needless to say, we will not be back. read more

I get pizza every Friday and I've never tried this place - so i thought I'd shake things up and try something new. Holy cannoli, this place has been under the radar all this time. I ordered online, which I loved because they update you throughout the entire process of making your pie just perfect. I ordered the classic combo pizza - a medium. The only thing i could possibly complain about would be that the medium seemed small to me- clearly i just wanted more of the delicious pizza. The crust had a nice crunch to it, i adore the sauce - both sweet and tangy and full of flavor, the toppings were all extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. The put tons of great coupons on the pizza box itself. They do offer dine in and carry out / delivery BUT currently due to the COVID19 dine in is not an option. Ordered this Classic Combo pizza online, I liked how you could track your pizza, and how they updated you when your pizza was ready. I arrived to pick it up and it still had about 2 minutes left, so it was piping hot when we grabbed it. My daughter was tempted to steal a slice right from the box but decided against it for fear of burning her face off. We dug right in when we got home, and enjoyed the pizza very much! We specifically liked the fresh ingredients, the thinner crust and abundance of toppings. Perfect for a Friday night quick quarantine dinner. read more

I am from Chicago and have been a waitress and bartender for 20 years.. customer service is the most important thing when you run a restaurant....the son of the owner is the rudest person I have ever dealt with!!!! I ordered and paid for extra sauce and extra cheese...I was very polite at first but his attitude was horrible!!! I have been requested by Ernie Banks at Harry Carays....by Jim Thome at Harry Carays....and Tommy Lasorda at the original Connie's Pizza in Chicago...we have ordered from this Rosatis numerous times and have had no problems.... but I don't appreciate the rudeness if my order is not right!!! I called and ordered 4 pizzas and salad for a family birthday party. Asked to have it delivered later and the food was delivered in perfect timing. The food arrived piping hot and delivery person was very nice! Best pizza delivery service I have found! Most places deliver pizza and it's barely warm but not Rosati's! Best delivery at 10 p.m. delivery guy was super friendly. The food was top-notch the pizza with pepperoni and sausage was superb and delicious evenly made with tomato and cheese. I work for a car dealership and we stopped by for a quick slice of pizza. Low and behold, our entire dealership ended up calling us with orders of pizza to bring back for them to eat, including a whole Chicago Style deep dish pizza. With all the extra slices, the gentleman behind the counter had to make a whole pizza just for us. He handled himself very professionally, even though it must have been frustrating we kept changing our orders. He was very kind to us and helped us through the whole thing. I personally love right down the road from this location and will happily give my money to this establishment again because of his work ethic. read more

The worst customer service ever! They refused to take their OWN coupon. It was valid, in date, for their exact location and yet they still refused, They argued with my wife saying they didn't know about the coupon, then when she showed them where online the coupon was they still refused. She then spoke to the manager who was just as un-helpful and refused to honor their very own published coupon. Personally as a manager you do what you can to make your customers happy within reason... ESPECIALLY accepting your own promotional coupons. I will never order their pizza again. read more

NEVER AGAIN. Rosati's Pizza ow web site has inaccurate prices and menu items. I placed a order for delivery using the web site menu and ordered the daily special. Upon looking at my receipt I realized that I was overcharged $4.75. I called Rosati's to get a adjustment or a credit off my next order and was told that the web site has not been updated and the daily specials have changed. The web site was the "old" menu. I expected then to at least offer a credit on my next order because I was using their own web site menu when I ordered. Instead I received three "Sorry about that" comments. I also had ordered a 20" pizza off the online menu and received a 18", as the delivery guy said they no longer make the 20". Rosati's HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY PIZZA PLACE. I would have been satisfied with a credit off my next order but now THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ORDER. I just ordered tonight. They got my order wrong and I called them. It was a minor thing and I even told the first person that I talked to that they couldn't fix it right now and that I was just making them aware. I then talked to the manager at the time who happens to be the owners son and was given nothing but excuses that the website reads differently from what gets printed out in the store. He did nothing but tell me that I was being rude and hung up on me. I called them back and asked to speak to the manager. I asked for his manager and he said that was his father and he wasn't there at the time. He then began to explain why he thought I was rude and told me he was about to tell me they would remake my food. I then told him that is what he should have started with on the first phone call. He told me I was right and blah blah blah. These people are not fit to run a business, especially a food business and I am letting everyone who orders from them to order at your own peril because if they screw up your order they will give you nothing but BS excuses. I have been patronizing this location since 2010 and never had a problem. This has to be new ownership who has no idea how to serve the customer and is only it it to make money and screw those who make that money for them. STAY AWAY. read more

Our family has ordered from Rosaties about a dozen times. Always the same thing- pizza and wings. It was expensive- $40 to have a large pizza and 25 wings delivered. But the kids loved the wings and they are so good. The pizza is good but not the best. Based on the food alone I would give it 3 stars. Here is the short of my story: We ordered a pizza, waited two hours and it came cold. I have had this happen before and each time the pizzeria, whether local or chain, apologized and either had food sent right out or made an attempt to keep us as a customer. No such luck here. A little disappointed that I won't return again. The long of it: This Rosati's gets 1 star. And here is why... Everything other than the food is disappointing. Since we live a short distance away we decided to start ordering pick up. Always, always the answer was 25 minutes till it was ready. And always, always we would get there around 25 minutes after we called and then wait another 25 minutes. Tolerable if the other option is Papa Johns or Dominos, right? Then tonight we order a pizza at 6:10 and are told that it will be 45-60 minutes. We wait for an HOUR AND A HALF without a delivery or phone call, so we call them and ask what has happened. The manager, Betty, tells us that they are busy and we are looking at another 30-40 minutes wait! We ask what, if anything, they are going to do to make this right- we had recently become regular customers and felt that it was appropriate. The manager offered us a whole $2.00 off. I think they charge more than that just for delivery? So a few minutes to 8, the delivery man arrives. Yup- 2 hours later. We open the boxes and what do we see? Cold pizza and wings!!!!! At this point, I am upset, disappointed, hungry. I call Roasati's, ask to speak to a manager and am given back to Betty. I explained that we had waited almost 2 hours, been told 45-minutes to an hour when we initially ordered, and that our food had arrived cold. Betty remembered her earlier conversation with my girlfriend and restated that she had offered to take $2.00 off, and she was sorry because it was the holidays. I have to say that the way I typed that comes across much better than the way it was communicated to me. Really, she sounded like she thought her $2.00 off was generous and that I should simply accept an apology. I felt a little stunned and simply told her that we enjoy their food and were disappointed with them and our recent experiences (which had also included an incorrect order). Ugh. It doesn't matter if the food is better than chain- if you have to wait to hours and then feel like you wasted your time to even discuss this poor customer service with a manager. This is honestly one of the best Rosati's in the Rockford area. I have been coming for slices for the last 8 years. They are some of the nicest people in the area and is one of the reasons I keep coming back. There is dine in seating but is more appropriate for lunch time, so pick up or get delivery for dinner.
