Fast personal pizza! Here's what I like: It feels brand new when you walk in which makes it very open and inviting. Very clean and spacious inside. They also have some outdoor seating. You pick your crust and all the toppings you want. They put it in a large oven and it cooks very fast. So, you can call it fast food, but it's not the same as other fried and greasy fast food. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple reasons. First of all, this would not be the place I would think of if I want pizza. It's a good option for something quick to eat when you're by yourself or someone else that has completely different taste than you in pizza. The thing about pizza is that it has always been a family type of meal, or even with friends a social meal. You order a big pizza, or a couple pizzas, and share them amongst your group. So, if I want pizza I will most likely order pizza from a better, more well known or established pizza place. Secondly, I recently tried Blaze pizza. I don't know if Blaze is everywhere yet, but it is a direct competitor of MOD and is basically the same concept. If you have ever had Blaze, you know that they are better. I would choose Blaze over MOD. read more

My family and I walked in and went to the counter. The staff didn't acknowledge us. When they came to the counter I assumed they'd ask what I wanted. They didn't. Love this new place in Machesney Park. Order pizza and salad as you like with unlimited toppings for the same price. Favorite part is the sauces at the end they will drizzle on it, like the spicy honey called Mikes Hot Honey finish to the pizza. LOVE IT. I've been here a few times and each time it surprises me with how fresh and delightful everything tasted. For being able to pick whatever toppings and how much you want of every single thing that goes into your personal pizza or salad it's a bang for your buck. It literally takes less than 10 minutes and it's the best pizza around in this area. They have quite a selection of different drinks to choose from, like a pink lemonade that is so addicting! This is probably my new favorite restaurant! It is subway for pizza. You can pick from one of their recipes or create your own. You can choose from so many different ingredients. Pretty good pizza, and the fact that you can completely customize it to your liking is also a plus. If you're indecisive like I am they also have some pizzas to get you started as well. The fire oven for the pizzas is a great touch, and the drink selection is really good as well - they even serve alcoholic beverages as well if that's your thing. This is very good pizza for both a chain and "fast" food and I am a pizza... connoisseur, iIt was really loud on Saturday afternoon but it was also crowded, only the second day open. If your looking for a classic thin crust, this is pretty decent. However the crust is so thin that that they also have to go light on the sauce and toppings. The freshly fired up is absolutely great but it's the actually pizza tastes average which is why I gave it four stars. It's a much needed quick food bite for this area. "Blaze" pizza is not in this area but is the same quick pizza chain concept is significantly superior to this for the same price.
