I would leave less than one star if I could. Service is horrible. Food takes forever to come out of the kitchen. There were 5 tables with 2 servers. One table got tired of waiting and left. We spent 2 hours for two small pizzas and one small half baked. Which by the way was wrong. He brought me a half BACON pizza. We finally get our bill and walk to the front to pay. The MANAGER came to the front. He looked at the bill and said I needed to take it to my server. Um...what!?!? You're the freakin manager!!! You couldn't check us out on that machine right in front of you!?!? I will NEVER go back there!!! read more

We ordered for carry out and the pizza was not great. The crust was undercooked and didn't have much taste.

Fantastic Chicago style stuffed pizza! It's worth the wait for this huge pizza!

So the thin crust pizza was so hot and good and the buffalo wings were good as well. I gave it a 3 star because when we came in they told us that there was a 30 min wait but, we could put out orders in while we waited which is what we did because we thought our food would be almost done by the time we finally sat down. We sat for a while before receiving anything. Our waiter was also the waiter for a few other tables which she paid more attention to them versus us. I had to go to the front just to order another pizza because she didn't come check on us. She went to all the other tables refilling their drinks and could clearly see my boyfriend cup was empty I had to call her over to ask her for a refill for him and then another time for my son had she been doing her job then I wouldn't have to call her over. Great customer service would've been her coming over to check up on us checking to see if we had a refill and anything else. The other pizza didn't come until we were leaving which I was already aware of it was a deep dish pizza but wasn't as good as it normally would be they didn't put enough sauce on either. I will for now only order the thin crust. read more

Stuffed pizza is good, same as other locations. Ordered the bruschetta app (takeout) and it only comes with four small life's of bread. Hardly enough to justify the $8 cost and not enough to even touch the amount of tomatoes. Disappointed especially since bread would be the least expensive item!! Ordered the margherita pizza twice and very disappointed both times!! They have obviously never eaten a real margherita pizza ever!! First time they didn't use buffalo mozzarella and shredded. Second time they used buffalo mozzarella but there was one small sliver of basil. Not even close to a margherita pizza. They should visit Italy or at least NY to get it right. For crying out loud there are recipes online that are better than what they make! I know this is a Chicago "style" pizza, then don't call it a margherita pizza as it does have a specific definition regardless of locale. Oh and this is supposed to be a super thin crust but the crust is about the same as every other regular thin crust pizza they make. Very disappointed and will stick to the stuffed pizza until the owners learn what a real Italian pizza is. read more

I was looking for a new pizza place to start ordering from since I recently moved to Oswego. I always loved Giordano's stuffed pizzas when I was a kid living in Glen Ellyn, so I was pretty excited to see one nearby. We didn't order deep dish this time, but we ordered a 'specialty' Hawaiian pizza (not my first choice, but my finance was craving one). We ordered the pizza for delivery and when the pizza arrived it was cold, over-cheesed, and bland. The sauce had no seasoning, the cheese was a cold 1/8 thick, rubbery layer blanketing the top, and the pineapple was sparse and most likely from a can. We actually ended up adding our own salt, basil, oregano, garlic powder over the entire pizza to try and make it a little enjoyable. While I can't speak for the deep dish, this cold, over-cheesed, under-seasoned pizza experience doesn't exactly make me want to take a gamble trying. read more

We were going to CA and my family out there asked us to bring stuffed pizza from Chicago because they miss it and can't get it out there everyday. I didn't want to try to drag pizza with me on the plane, ( I already almost missed the plane for being 2 ounces over on a hairspray bottle!) So , when I think of stuffed pizza, I think Giordanos, and they had a "ship a pizza" frozen online thing, which I did to surprise them. Delivered on time and OMG amazing !! I was stunned by the quality and it was like they just brought it out of the pizza oven and to the table at one of their restaurants! Yous guys know your pizza! Such great pizza, so distinct! Everyone loved it. Pricey, a bit...I thought...but SO worth it! Great job!! read more

The food was AMAZING! The Chicago stuffed pizza was by far one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Service was great. The manager was a creepy douche man! read more

Worst possible service. Did not receive half of the food that was ordered and then was charged for all of it on the bill. Children's food cake out 45 min after the adults and it took 40 min to receive our correct bills. read more

The pizza is solid. A good meat and more stuffed pizza! The thing is like a brick it's so heavy and they are so generous on toppings. I must add that they recently hired more delivery drivers which has cut the delivery time nearly in half. I ordered a thin pizza and got it in about 35 minutes. I really can't complain about this place. read more

We just brought home a carryout deep dish pizza that was anything but deep. It was a tiny bit over 1/2 inch thick and barely fed our family of 4; I could have easily eaten half the pizza. The pizza from the Naperville location is twice as thick and we can only finish half of it. As a side note, the cashier wiped her nose with the palm of her hand before handling my card. Yuck! Thankfully, another person was the one who got the pizza. Not sure we're coming back to this location. read more

I'm confused about why there are so many lower reviews. I don't think I've ever ordered delivery from this location, but I have dined in several times. I've always received good service and awesome pizza! I've also tried a few appetizers and have enjoyed those as well. I actually like their deep dish just as much, if not more than Lou Malnati's. read more

Fantastic. Pizza was awesome, bruschetta was awesome. Friday night, walked right in, no wait. Great Chicago pizza. I'm coming back

Dylan was very helpful and served a group of 20 people along with other customers. He was patient with us and showed us some options and recommendations. Overall good food and food service. read more

Pizza is good, the sauce is authentic. They have updated some items on menu and the bruschetta and calamari frita are very good. I had a previous bad experience with service at this location and management reached out to me, invited me back and made my family a great meal. I will definitely go back. read more

We had a large party of 15+, Dylan was very on top of refills, space, providing extra plates for cake that we brought in for our celebration! Dylan gets 5 stars!! We even left over half of the celebration cake we didn't eat because they did such a great job! Kudos read more

We always have a great experience at this Giordano's. The food is served hot and is always fantastic. We have had many servers, all who have been friendly and attentive. But we have to say, Dylan is our favorite! He's the best! He's friendly, accommodating and you can tell he cares about serving well. We will continue to frequent this location, knowing our dining experience will be positive and delicious! read more

We had a great experience tonight for Dinner! The manager was extremely nice and helpful! Also, are pizza came right out of the oven and was Fantastic! read more

Dylan was the best server out there payed a lot of attention and it was 10 ppl thank you for you're amazing service !!!

I'm from Cali and I have had a few diff type of Chicago pizza's including to name a few Lou Malnati's and Gino's east which are all really good but my fav so far has been Giordanos. Awesome deep dish pizza and good customer service. I come here always when I come to the area. I even ship pizzas back home to LA lol. read more

I really enjoy Giordano's Pizza, but this particular location had a really bad smell. The smell was like they took a dirty mop and cleaned the floors. The table had that same smell. It's seems they are using old rags to clean the tables. To top my evening we ordered caesar salad and was told they ran out. read more

For delivery These guys are always earlier than the expected time. When ordering for pick up the staff is always smiling and just all around nice. The pizza is always made we'll never undercooked . All around this place will continue to have my business .. keep it up read more

My favorite place to go for pizza. They have amazing food and the team there is awesome. Best pizza place around

This has always been some of my favorite pizza, it's a classic. The problem here is the service. If you order over the phone, expect to be rushed off the call quickly and to probably have your order incorrect. If you dine in, it's a hit or miss with the servers. Sometimes you are lucky and get a great server and other times you get one who looks like he/she rather be watching paint dry. What keeps me coming back is the tasty pizza. Hopefully they work on their service and they will be a 5 star! read more

This was our first time trying Giordano's. We were very impressed with the Chicago style deep dish! The crust underneath stayed very crispy, which surprised us. Our experience with that style of pizza is always hit and miss, but this time was definitely a hit! Our server, Dylan, was excellent! He was very informative and gave us a lot of ideas on what to try. All in all, if we ever find ourselves up north again we will absolutely be back! read more

The place has barely any people in it and all we ordered was a pizza at 4 and it's now 530 and no sign of our waiter or our food. No checking in us if we need anything nothing. If your looking for good service and appropriate food timing this is NOT the place for youn read more

Very good stuffed pizza! Loaded with cheese and super hot! Appetizers are yummy too.

I'm definitely a fan of Giordano's of Oswego. Employees are friendly and food is delicious! Their delivery depends on what you order. It's definitely worth a try if you're new to the area! read more

Awful! Waited 3 hours for my food to be delivered and I eventually cancelled my order. I understand the night before Thanksgiving is busy, but a call throughout the night telling me the restaurant was running behind would have been appropriate. The manager was unhelpful and hung up on me when I told him I was unhappy. Go elsewhere. This place is unreliable! read more

I usually go to the Caton Farm location but was in the area had had a taste for a deep dish. We ordered a large sausage and it arrived within the usual wait time. I immediately noticed the sauce looked watery. After a couple of bites I noticed that the bottom crust was barely existent. I couldn't even pick it up with my fork. Plus it was slimy. Overall the entire pizza was thinner than a large sausage at the other location. We did say something to our waitress and she replied with she didn't know what the pizza was supposed to taste like because she is always on a diet. Needless to say, I will remain a Giordano's customer, but will definitely think twice before eating at this location again. read more

I'm not a fan of their prices. The pizza is okay, but not amazing. For those prices you would expect amazing. We got delivery, and he was nice. I ordered online, so I don't really know how the service is when you call. read more

If you love Chicago style pizza this is the place to eat!!! Heaven in every bite. They also have frozen pizzas available to bring home which we did for my parents and they loved it! ! You can't go wrong. Prepare for a long wait if you want a deep dish pie, but they are worth the extra wait. read more

While I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Giordano's pie, i must admit to being disappointed with their limited-time-only special: Bratwurst Deep Dish Pizza. The flavors were not the issue, rather the fact that brats IN THE CASINGS are used (rather than loose meat). I found the casings became unchewable. Thankfully we carried out so this 'issue' could be dealt with discreetly. I'll stick with the regular deep dish FIVE STAR pie. read more

Pizza is great....but sloowwwwwww service! Called in our order for pick up...waited the allotted time, and went to pick it up. When we got there we had to wait an additional 30 minutes!! And that was for pick up...delivery is even slower!! read more

We have been very loyal customers since this local opened. We went there for dinner tonight and I about fell over when we got our bill. We were there four weeks ago; holy cow did they raise their prices in that time. It was $30 more tonight than it has always been for the exact same order. They have switched to Pepsi products which were $3/glass. The pop was flat and very syrupy. The new garlic bread was awful and twice as much as it used to be. Totally unacceptable in my book to spend $91 on a large pizza, an order of ravioli, 2 orders of garlic bread and 5 pops. The service was terrible. The server didn't even serve us our first slices of pizza and we had to hunt him down for anything we needed. Very disappointed!! We won't be back....Lou Malnatis will have all of our business from now on! read more

The people are rude!! Hung up us! Called for the past two nights about latest delivery time and tonight they didn't follow that. Been there at lunch time and no one ever acknowledged us and walked out!!! Nancy's or Lou's is a better choice!! read more

I spent 50.00 on a large pizza, half hawaian, half sausage, two cannolis and one small chopped salad. The pineapple on the pizza was in bits so small it looked like something already chewed and just spit out. VERY tiny and SPARSE bits of pineapple. The ham was almost non-existant. Cannoli's crust, all burned. The filling was CURDLED and tasteless. I am so annoyed and wish I had my money back. The chicken on the chopped salad appeared pale and did not look appetizing so I did not even try it. read more

Stick with the pizza. The Philly Beef is bland. My wife said the lasagna from Lean Cuisine is better.

with all the places to eat in the area i would always come back to girdano's. i've even ordered take out to take the pizza back to california! i've gotten the personal size pizza with pepperoni and it doesn't take as long to prepare as the other pizzas. i haven't been able to eat more than half of the pizza and it's well worth the price. there's nothing like it and a must to try! read more

Out of all the locations I've been to, this is hands down my favorite. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Majority of my orders have been to go and I've never had an issue. The handful of times I did dine in, the restaurant was clean and the staff was upbeat. read more
