Ordered ahead and said my order was given out. Staff seemed a bit distracted and new.

Sad that poor management can ruin a decent sandwich shop. Check out the dozen other options in the area

Today I came in for lunch and I ordered the BLT+Avocado sandwich with Mac and cheese as my side, along with their lemonade and they even threw in a pickle with my sandwich!

McBride's North is one of several locations so you can check out and compare these. Certainly seems like a place to come for a gathering. There's plenty of tables as well as TVs for watching games and whatever kinds of sports. Beers and other alcoholic beverages are why you come to an Irish pub of course. It's got a few deals going on. There's of course the Guinness on tap. Can't go wrong with it. Saturdays it's $6 a pint. As for the food, it's basic. It's $7 to get a few of the Pretzel Sticks. Could be the healthiest food here. These are topped with garlic butter and salt, and served with bistro sauce and nacho cheese, but I got mine without the butter and had mustard. Have to say it's a lot better than expected. It's got lots of specials that help save money for more to get drunk on. The food is okay while being pretty meaty, with bangers and mash types of things, but they also have pretzels.

The soft pretzel sticks were great and I enjoyed my paddy melt and mashed potatoes- the gravy was great! Others got the Buffalo chicken wrap, garlic grilled cheese, grilled chicken sandwich, and all enjoyed their good. Portions are big. Service was efficient and friendly. We'll be back!

Absolutely fantastic! I originally didn't think much of this place when checking out the menu…read moreonline because the food choices didn't look super interesting and the prices were a bit on the lower side. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was completely wrong --- the portions are enormous, the textures are great, the flavors are incredible, and everything I tried was done very well. This is on top of fast friendly service, and a very unique interior. I went here with 3 friends and would absolutely love to come back again soon with even more. As I mentioned, the food here is just awesome. It's clear how much care is put into every single dish with the great presentation, attention to small details, and refined product. I highly recommend the tuna poke, maybe one of the best versions I've ever had of this dish. This has plenty of fish on top of extremely crispy wonton chips. The mix of creamy avocado puree, jalapeno salsa, honey wasabi, and sriracha aioli is incredible. This reminds me of the bold flavor combinations at Girl and the Goat at a lower price point. The bang bang shrimp was another winner with super crispy tempura shrimp served with a delicious sweet chili sauce and cabbage slaw. For anyone who's ever had this dish at Bonefish Grill, you'll be thrilled with this version as well which comes with a very generous amount of shrimp. The burgers were also on point -- both enormous in size and full of flavor in every layer. In addition to perfectly cooked patties (this was great for both the beef and bison I tried), I was pleased that all the components of the burger were very flavorful and well done. That is, the brioche bread was slightly toasted inside, the pickles had just the right level of acidity and texture, the pork belly was super flavorful in itself and cooked great without making the dish feel too fatty, the egg was slightly runny, and the vegetables were all super fresh. Unsurprisingly, their sides were prepared to perfection as well -- with crunchy onion rings and super tasty fries. Overall, this restaurant is worth a special trip and I aim to try every single starter they make soon. It's not often that I'll be thinking about a restaurant long after dining there but the excellence displayed here has left a lasting impression both with myself and my friends that dined here. The excellent meal here definitely made for a very memorable birthday dinner for the party.

A lot of healthy and great tasting food for those who find it. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of stuff. Basic looking cafe with a good size seating area. It's actually bigger than it looks. The menu may not be that big but it still has plenty of choices for various diets and preferences. All of it's freshly made. It's about $7 for a smoothie. Got the colorful one called the Green Machine. This is made with almond milk, bananas, ginger, and spinach. It's about $9 for a salad, pretty big ones. Last time I got the Southwestern Salad. This has avocados, black beans, cilantro, corn, and salsa, and comes with a chipotle vinaigrette. Among the other options are pizzas if you can believe it. They make these a lot healthier with not as much junk on top. Great food that's full of flavor. It's closed Sundays. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.

The chicken salad was good, but for a place that is named for their chicken salad, it just wasn't anything special. I had the cranberry with almonds on wheat. I asked for the bread toasted, and it was browned, but bot crunchy like toast. Not sure what that's about. For sides, I had the Mac and cheese, which was kind of meh, and the grape salad, which was the highlight of the visit. Crunchy grapes with sweet tangy dressing. Each meal also comes with a frosted sugar cookie, which was delicious. I would go back if someone Invited me, but this isn't something I would crave.

There is some lingo like "quick chicks" which are to-go cartons of chicken salad; so convenient! You have a DOZEN to choose from. If you're in-store, you can request samples. Also, when my husband stopped in to pick up our lunch, they were giving out red "Chicken Salad Chick" tote bags as a promotion. Here are some of their chicken salad options: 1) Barbie-Q "hickory smoked bbq" 2) Classic Carol "signature white meat, celery, mayo, seasoning" 3) Olivia's Old South "sweet pickles & egg" 4) Fancy Nancy "fuji apples, grapes, pecans" 5) Fruity Fran "grapes, fuji apples, pineapple" 6) Cranberry Kelli "dried cranberries, slivered almonds" 7) Lauryn's Lemon Basil "pecans, fresh lemon, basil" 8) Dixie Chick "onion lover's delight, only one with onions" 9) Kickin' Kay Lynne "buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheddar, jalapeno, sriracha) 10) Sassy Scotty "ranch, bacon, cheddar" 11) Buffalo Barclay "craving wings? the choice for you" 12) Jalapeno Holly "diced jalapeno galore" For my "scoop meal" I chose a scoop of "classic Carol" and a cup of chicken poblano soup. My husband also chose "classic Carol" for his sandwich and a side of pasta salad. We wanted to try their classic before trying any other chicken salad flavors. We're already planning which ones to try next when we go back. For me, next up would be the "Fancy Nancy." For my husband, his choice would be the "Sassy Scotty." We couldn't wait to try this spot as soon as we found out they opened in Block 59. So many new restaurants opening in the area. We'll be back and will pick up a "quick chick" for more chicken salad!
