Well we were not disappointed! We ordered two regular teriyaki chicken bowls, and one large bowl. We also ordered some pot stickers. The food was so delicious and succulent! You can't stop eating it! The meat is so juicy and flavorful as well as the noodles and vegetables. The vegetables were cooked perfectly which gives you just a little crunch without being chewy. The pot stickers were better than those we have gotten from Asian restaurants in far Eastern countries. We will be back with more family and friends. This is a hidden gem that gives you great value for your money and they are priced well! Treat yourself.

I ordered the bleu cheeseburger along with fries. I paid about $10, but the portions I felt, were worth it. The burger was very flavorful, though I felt it lacked sauce. I just added ketchup to it, but felt like it needed some mayo. I'm just a saucy kinda gal, I guess . It was a nice day when I went & noticed they have outside patio seating which is nice to eat & get some fresh air to enjoy the weather. The menu seemed limited, but they have specials for every day of the week as well. They open early, so it's also a great spot to grab breakfast real quick while you're there getting gas. I was torn between the Bleu cheeseburger or the bacon cheeseburger based on the reviews I read. Ah well, that just means it's an excuse for me to go back & try it.

So, on a whim, when making a Valentine's reservation, we decided to visit Domo 77. Now, to be fair, it was a holiday, and a popular eat out holiday at that, but the staff appeared confused, unorganized, and frazzled. We arrived at 5:45pm for our 6:00pm reservation, and based on the other 6 we were sat with, we lucked out being sat right away - they had 5:30pm reservations. After we were sat, drinks came quickly, but it took a FULL 50 MINUTES before food was on the grill. Half of our table (a family of 4 with kids) left, because the kids were hungry - and again, while it is Valentine's Day, they had a 5:30pm reservation, and they finally walked out after over an hour. We and the other couple stayed, but after all was said and done, we spent 90 minutes from seating to receipt. The food was good overall - we had gyoza dumplings, and Mai Tais for drinks, both were great. I went with steak and scallops - the scallops were pretty sloppy and underwhelming, but the steak was very well done. My husband had steak and chicken, and it was also quite good. So while it scratched that 20 year itch, it was just ok. I probably won't be back on purpose.

We're not cancelling our reservations at Pappadeux to eat here, but if either Wife or I catch a boner for fried Seafood; and not in the mood to drive more than a mile, Sharks is a safe bet. Prolly a notch or 2 above "Long John Silvers", which is the closest analog I can think of; but they have a long way to go to reach the yum factor of the Friday Fish Fry at the Luxie club in North Aurora (q.v. my Yelp here). N.B.: Another place where "Lemon Pepper" is a featured shake for every thing coming out of the kitchen. When did Lemon Pepper get so popular? I'm not a convert, yet. The fellow behind the counter said the Lemon Pepper in their behind-the-counter shakers was different and superior to the branded Lemon Pepper in the bottle offered for purchase. As my ironclad rule is: "Try it the way chef intended it when it's your first time in", I had them put the Lemon Pepper on the HushPuppies. There was no discernible flavor "zang" on the pups. although they were fine HushPuppies. Then again, I have never had the Sharks Pups WITHOUT the Lemon Pepper. Chains are usually ruled by their finance departments, and everyone knows nothing kills a restaurant's menu like an accountant. The tolerance on sushi and ramen is dynamic. As long as the fish wasn't spoiled, I've never had really bad sushi or ramen. I've had both that were not great, but ultimately edible (meaning it was better than going to McDonalds). In 1964, Justice Potter Stewart famously said "I know porn when I see it". And I know a chain restaurant Sushi menu when I see it. Subsequently, Chain restaurant Sushi is recognizable. Better than "Supermarket" Sushi, but not the same as a serious Sushi joint. I had a non-interesting Maki roll, one order of run-of-the mill Gyoza, and a "Ramen" wot had shrimps in it. All decent, but not championship. Not cheap, either. The most distinctive thing (and not exactly a positive thing) was the square-ish soft drink glasses. Pretty to look at , but they didn't hold enough drink to last through the meal. As I was a solitary diner, I was seated in an empty section, thus not being in the normal path of the server who seemed more interested in chatting with the Sushi "Chef", than paying attention to my empty glass.
