Now I did see they were going to stop serving before the actual close time so I wanted to dig right in and get a few things. I ended up with 3 places which were ok a spicy tuna, tuna nigiri, and one of their custom rolls. Fish tasted ok and rice was not dry. I waited and watch for about 10 minutes for other things of interest to rotate around and there really wasn't much(not much on the conveyer or new things being put out) I ended up going to the tablet to just place orders there, which was a little bit of a bummer. I like the mystery of what is going to come around the conveyer next and trying something random. It was around 8:15 and I wanted to make sure I got food before they closed kitchen. The delivery for the tablet ordered sushi was on a little vehicle that rolled out on top of sushi conveyer, which was cute I could seek kids getting a real kick out of that. I decided to try a ramen which ended up being hand delivered. Soup was not hot it was more just warm which didn't work great with the noodles. They have to sit a little to soften up. I think it would have been better if it was hot. I could have probably just ordered the ramen alone because I did end up with too much to eat. Be careful how you order. If I was to go again, I would definitely try to go earlier to give more time on the conveyer maybe closer to 5. The place is a little far away for me to just do a causal meal so I will probably stick closer to my local favorites. If i was taking 3-4 folks out I might go for the place as a fun dining out place. Parking not a problem. Staff was pretty friendly and they did a good job of cleaning up after people dined. Prices were in line for other rotating type sushi bars I have been around Chicago. Most plates fell between $4-10 depending on what you got.

She was busy busy, so I understood why things look a little bit longer. I tried 3 different rolls - Paradise roll, Butterfly roll, and the Spider roll. The scallops are always perfectly seasoned, and the noodles are so good. I don't think we've ever had a not good server experience always friendly and constantly refilling our waters. Now, to be fair, it was a holiday, and a popular eat out holiday at that, but the staff appeared confused, unorganized, and frazzled. We arrived at 5:45pm for our 6:00pm reservation, and based on the other 6 we were sat with, we lucked out being sat right away - they had 5:30pm reservations. After we were sat, drinks came quickly, but it took a FULL 50 MINUTES before food was on the grill. Half of our table (a family of 4 with kids) left, because the kids were hungry - and again, while it is Valentine's Day, they had a 5:30pm reservation, and they finally walked out after over an hour. We and the other couple stayed, but after all was said and done, we spent 90 minutes from seating to receipt. The food was good overall - we had gyoza dumplings, and Mai Tais for drinks, both were great. I went with steak and scallops - the scallops were pretty sloppy and underwhelming, but the steak was very well done. My husband had steak and chicken, and it was also quite good. So while it scratched that 20 year itch, it was just ok. I probably won't be back on purpose.
