Horrible experience from start to finish. Installed staircase. I regret agreeing to have this…read morecompany instal my stairs, as recommended by a local flooring company. The absolute worst. Unprofessional, rude (especially Jose), unresponsive. My project was delayed by a month because he would not communicate with the partner flooring company and send photos, as he had promised. Would not show up on scheduled appointments. I had to beg them. I do not know how they stay in business, treating customers with the utmost disrespect. When I called to reschedule an apt after a 'no show' no one ever bothered to to call back. Said tending to emergency, and will call back; they never did. I was also charged several hundreds of $$ above the agreed price on the final bill. I called and asked the reason, and no one bothered to call me and explain. I kept calling because there were unresolved issues and some things were not correct with the final product. They were supposed to fix them. No one called me back. I now have to find someone else on my own and pay extra money to fix their issues and their mistakes. This is totally outrageous. Undoubtedly this company only cares for money; also shown by incredibly cheap, labor to save costs. Stay away. You will regret dealing with them. They are not worth the aggravation. They are not all that great. Find someone else, reputable and respectable who cares about their customers. Overall, I give them a 0 rating. Unprofessional, rude, unresponsive, not customer focused.

Vanessa in the office, Jose who came to look at the project, the crew who installed the stairs, Leo and his team that did all the finishing, and Justin who managed the project and was in constant communication with us, this company went above and beyond. I highly recommend them.

Andy On Call is a marketing and sales service for independent contractors, and when we received a…read morecallback from the carpenter who had been selected by them we almost mistook him for a well-timed telemarketer. The basement steps built into our home were old and a little loose when we bought the house in 1986. With time and wear, they only got worse. This past summer we decided to have them replaced, and began seeking estimates. Apparently, most local carpenters consider this too small a job, a waste of their time. After much searching, we located three prospects. Prospect one couldn't come for an estimate for three weeks. Prospect two was ready to estimate the next day, and in his excited and enthusiastic sales pitch peppered with colorful (to use the current phrase) "cultural insensitivities," was apparently too stupid to realize my ethnicity. Thanks, but no thanks. This leaves Andy. The price was right, work could begin immediately, and all seemed right. Our carpenter arrived on time. I spent a few minutes showing him around. He wanted to setup in our backyard, so I very carefully directed him to the outdoor house outlets (USE) and NOT the electrical outlets in the garage (DON'T USE, they are low amperage). He proceeded to setup enough electrical equipment to support a NASA launch, and plug his absurdly overloaded power strip into (you guessed it) the garage outlet. With power restored to our home, I had to get back to work. I next checked after the old steps had been torn-out. They were sitting in a pile on our back lawn. Checking again, a bit later, a pile of mis-cut new lumber was now sitting next to them. By mid-afternoon an additional lumber run was necessary. After I politely advised our carpenter that we would not be paying for his mis-cut lumber, he promptly loaded it into his truck. Our basement steps are extremely solid and level. To our surprise, absolutely nothing was done to finish-- not even replacing the finish components torn-out before the work began. No moldings, no trimwork, no paint and only 90% of the cleanup-- but a well-built set of steps. As Andy's competition was so quick to bring to my attention, this was not a difficult job. I'm not sure that the complexities paired well with the levels of drama. I really would have to again have few options to use Andy on Call again.

AndyOnCALL made 9-930 am appointment with me for this morning to give me estimate. I was waiting on my front porch, saw a silver sedan slow down and the male driver yells out his open window, "Don't even have a fucking parking space open for me! God damn it!" and then drives on. Guess who that was??? When the same sedan pulls up in front of my house, male driver gets out, exchanges pleasantries with two of my neighbors walking their dog, then comes up to my front porch. I asked him why he yelled out his open car window and repeated exactly what he said. He said I didn't have a place in my driveway for him to park his car. I said I didn't need to provide one. He said, "then I have to park in the street and I don't do that." I said I heard his cursing and thought it unprofessional. He admitted that he had not seen me sitting on my front porch. He asked if I wanted him to leave and I said yes. As he turned and walked away, he sarcastically said over his shoulder, "thanks for not having a place for me to park! Have a nice day!" Never do business with obnoxious, uncouth, angry individuals. What a horrible man and huge lack of any sort of professionalism. Highly do NOT recommend AndyONCALL.
