Shrimp shumai(pass) beef bulgogi bun (good!)
    Vince S.

A slight round up to 4 stars due to 20% off during soft opening, and the great chicken wings. We came for a dine in late lunch to find the place empty, which was fine dine they are so new. My Korean friend opted for ramen while I chose a few apps. There appeared to be only 1 employee there because when she took our order she then vanished into the kitchen. Much to the dismay of 2 other potential customers who came in to order. After a few minutes of waiting and with no acknowledgment, they left. Our food came out pretty quickly. The shumai was our least fav thing. The pork bun was ok, the beef was much better. She liked but didn't love her ramen, and I agreed. I'm not such a ramen snob as her so I would get for myself in the future. The star for us was the wings, piping hot and super crispy. The sauce was garlic soy and did not deter the crispiness at all. I almost ordered another serving. There are about 10 4 seaters for dine in, but this will be more of takeout place for me. I hope they staff up in time for the grand opening we were told is coming in December. I wish them well!

    Pork Chashu Bowl, very flavorful.

We ordered 3 orders, ramen, rice bowl, and bento box. all very good. We are from New York City so we definitely don't get impressed easily. This is one of the best Asian food outside of New York we ever had. Even my picky kids loved every bit of it. Highly recommended. I hope to return next time. Other 2 items were eaten so fast before I was able to take a picture. Btw. The bubble tea was great too. Only $3 more when u buy a bento box.

That is what you get when you get great eats at Terakawa Ramen. As you enter, you'll notice the wall murals with the chefs on one side and the opposite wall has anime customers slurping their ramen. Yes, it's perfectly fine to make those loud slurping noises to show your appreciation for a great bowl of ramen. Here's what was ordered: - Signature Terakawa Ramen - 4.5/5 stars Boasted of rich, lovingly homemade pork bone soup with a good amount of sliced roast pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, scallions, and a jammy egg. The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else. I was told the have two locations: Philadelphia and the one we're dining at, Princeton Junction, NJ. Both locations serve homemade recipes from the Kumamoto region of Japan. If ramen is your love language, this place will absolutely speak to your soul.

I started with the spicy tuna tartare served on fried rice crisps. Perfect portion size, well-balanced seasoning, and just the right level of heat -- easily a 5/5 appetizer. For my entrée, I ordered the A5 beef ramen (not entirely sure of the official menu name, as I couldn't find it listed online). The bowl itself was intentionally simple, which worked in its favor. The broth was extremely rich and flavorful, and with a small addition of chili oil it was spot on. The noodles were clearly fresh and had excellent texture. My only real criticism was the amount of beef, which felt a bit light given the price point. My total for a solo lunch came to about $40 before tip. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 4/5. It's a great spot for an occasional treat, though probably not a regular go-to at that price. If I return, I'd likely explore some of the more budget-friendly ramen options on the menu.

The restaurant looked very clean with no garbage or debris on the floors or on the tables. The staff: The staff here are friendly, and they greet you and thank you with a welcoming smile. Prices: The prices here are pretty much similar to other ramen/noodle shops anywhere you go. Basically, it is a decent price for what you get now a days. Taiwanese popcorn chicken: This was cooked thoroughly and was delicious when you bite into it. This was definitely worth ordering if you decide to come here. Ultimate Lanzhou beef noodles: My brother said this noodle soup was not spicy at all. In fact it had too much of the black vinegar taste instead. The beef was cooked thoroughly, and the noodles were just all right with nothing special. Lanzhou beef noodles: The soup base for this noodle soup was very bland as if it was just soaking in water. The beef did not have flavor but was cooked thoroughly. The noodles would have tasted a bit better if the soup base had a little flavor to it. Overall: I might give this place a try again if I ever come back down to the Princeton area. Otherwise, I probably would not take the 1-hour drive down here just to dine at this noodle shop. A suggestion would be that they should try to perfect the soup base as the noodles are already good.
