I recently got a smoothie at another establishment and they gave me the dreaded paper straw. I know they are better for the environment. But you just can't do a paper straw with any type of thick beverage. LOL. My smoothie absolutely hit the spot. It was a good balance of the strawberries and bananas and a nice hint of the dark chocolate. Definitely not overpowering. My friend's detox Island green smoothie with peat protein was very good too. You could taste the pea protein powder but it was still very good. Next time plan to try one of their bowls.
