Full hookups worked perfectly and the whole place felt safe and cared for. We loved taking morning walks with our dog around the property and just soaking in how quiet and serene and perfect for unwinding together. But what truly made this stay special was the management. She is hands-down one of the nicest, most attentive people we've ever encountered at any RV park. Friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of what she runs, and it shows. She made us feel like guests, not just another reservation. If you're traveling as a couple, with pets, or just want a stress-free, relaxing lakeside stay, this place is a gem. This is one of my favorite campgrounds I've ever been to!!! Kelly and Mikal treat their guests like family. From the first time I called Kelly was so kind and helpful. I have been numerous times now and it feels like going to a little slice of heaven each time. It's clean, beautiful, quiet, and they live on site so if there's an issue they are there to help! The sites are spread out and spacious so you won't have someone right on top of you. The sites are kept up so nicely and the campground itself is simply gorgeous. The bathrooms are clean, there are several free showers, and there is firewood for sale as well. The town of Guerneville itself is only five minutes away, and there are tons of cute little shops as well as a major grocery store. There are darling little art galleries, clothing stores, bakeries, ice cream shops, coffee shops, etc. The ocean is only a 25 minute drive down the road. There are endless little beaches to stop at, as well as numerous little beachside towns with restaurants and coffee shops. You can spend a whole day exploring highway 1, then head back to your campsite to relax. I feel so lucky to only live 3 hours away and be able to head there any time I want. I'm so grateful to Kelly and Mikal for being so accommodating and kind.

Not what you expect to say about a trailer in the woods, but here we are. The suite came with a wood-fired hot tub, which was the highlight. Soaking out there in the redwoods at dusk with the Airstream lit up next to us is an image I'm going to be chasing for a while. Two people made the stay: Blythe at the front desk was absolutely wonderful -- warm, personable, and clearly someone who takes pride in her work and in making sure guests have everything they need. And Favian, who set up our wood-fired tub both nights, was so friendly and full of great recommendations for food and things to do in the area. Can't wait to come back.

The highlight for me at this place was cooking privately at our outdoor grill the first night and not having to clean up afterward. Another fun memory was using their onsite bikes to ride around the outside of the premise. We did have to share road with moving vehicles so would not recommend this for visitors with small kids. This site was nearby a redwoods state park (requires driving) and walking distance to one portion of the Russian river (though you have to cross the highway 17 where cars travel very fast). I highly recommend the redwoods state park because of the picturesque setting and paved paths. Two nights two days was more than enough time to explore the town. Downtown had some cute restaurants and it also has a Safeway. For the price, I will not be back. But it was nice to experience it once.

I got off the phone earlier today with whom I think was "Joe", possibly the manager regarding my complaint over a dirty room (esp floors) and perhaps sheets that had dirt or maybe sand. The customer service was probably the worst I have experienced, including dealing with the French (no I'm not Francophobic, my wife is French and we go there a couple of times a year). After taking a morning shower I noticed dirt outside the shower and after walking back to my bed my feet were black from the dirty floor, yes black. I left early in the morning for a court case, before the managers were available at 10am. By noon yesterday I was driving back to Monterey. I only asked for an adjustment to the $11 surcharge for that room though a more reasonable accommodation should have been offered given the experience. The push-back was swift and unyielding - "you waited two days to inform us" (actually one day given that we were then driving for 4.5 hrs) and he indicated that we couldn't "prove it". We have stayed at Eagle & Rose Inn several times previously without issue and I am very disappointed over "Joe's" tone and lack of consideration, all over 11 bucks. As such I give this treatment and experience a big thumbs down. C'est la vie, as the French would say...

It's across from a golf course and is surrounded by trees. Will definitely book with them again.
