Chicken Pad Thai & Panang curry
Tiffany S.

I was driving through town and decided to stop off and eat this place looked and sounded great. I was in a large vehicle so parking was not ideal but it's a cute area so a block walk was kind of nice. The place is super cute and the staff Was very friendly and prompt. The food... Everything was so flipping delicious! I had a courier of the day and pad Thai and can't decide which one I love tomorrow. Their portions are fair if not on the large side and their prices are unbelievable. It's like Covid never happened here! Thank you for such a pleasant experience! Food was so great I ordered another Togo for a friend. Prices so great I thought they messed up my bill. Wow

Very nice lunch at Ginger & Spice and loved how management made sure my daughter's meal was gluten free! We ordered the Spring Rolls, Taste of Ginger, and Basil Fried Rice (gluten free). Spring Rolls were fresh and tasty with an excellent peanut sauce for dipping. Both main dishes were very good and plentiful for a lunch meal...we enjoyed every bite! Good food and wonderful service!

Just bc they're not serving sushi this month doesn't mean you should pass up Ginger & Spice. It's a cozy with an inviting environment. The waitress was on top of everything, was incredibly kind and had perfect timing anytime anything was needed. We ordered the spring rolls and the royal dumplings for appetizers. The dumplings had a fantastic rich flavor. The spring rolls were the perfect size. Our entrees included yum nur, yellow curry and tiger cry. The curry alone is 5 stars. Rich and just the right amount of heat to it. The yum nur, the taste was fantastic and my only downside was the meat was pretty thick and took a bit to chew. The tiger cry was an absolute joy. I've never had it that way and really enjoyed it. Overall great experience and will be back to try more items!

Cashew Chicken. Over cooked. Disgusting flavor. Didn't taste as described

Food was not good at all. I have no comment on service or ambiance because it was take out.

Came here for the Sushi and the short answer is it is okay. It's a small little restaurant and you would definitely miss if you weren't looking for it. But easy parking and we didn't need to make reservations. We were seated right away and our server took our drink order. Instead of a traditional sushi restaurant, their focus seems to be more on Thai food. To just try the basics, we ordered a seaweed salad, some nigiri sushi and a roll. The timing wasn't the best. The seaweed salad didn't come out until well after the sushi was brought to the table. Pretty standard for a seaweed salad although could have used some sesame seeds. I think they might have, but so sparse you can barely tell. We ordered Tuna, Yellowtail and Salmon for the nigiri; unfortunately, they were out of Yellowtail. The tuna was just average and nothing special. The salmon seemed almost partially frozen. It wasn't... but was super cold/chilled as if it had just thawed out. It was fair salmon. For the roll, we got the Philadelphia Roll; they put tuna along with salmon in theirs and we asked to hold the tuna which they did. The rolls seemed to be overwhelmed with cream cheese so it was hard to taste the quality of the salmon but it seemed to be the same quality of the salmon nigiri we ate. For sushi, it's pretty average. There are some incredible sushi restaurants in Austin and even a few above average in Bee Cave so we were hoping we were going to get lucky but this sushi was just average. We will of course go back to try the Thai food at some point but not sure about going back here for the sushi.

inside and delightful, competent Kylie.

Service was prompt and complete. My food came so piping hot I had to let it cool a bit. My server who may be the owner, Kylie, was so responsive she filled my tea four times. I had the red ginger with chicken. It was absolutely perfect. The chicken and peppers were cut in bites, sized for the chopsticks I love to use. Enough heat to make me enjoy it but not too much to make it uncomfortably spicey. It's a quaint little spot that you don't want to miss if you enjoy Asian food. not a chain - Mom and Pop operated.

White sushi has hamachi in it and tasted good.

Good food choices for both Japanese and Thai cuisine. Place is small and filled in less than 30 min right after opening on a Sunday midday. Place is clean and tidy. Service is quick with a pleasant and attentive customer service . I ordered white sushi and A taste of Ginger dish. Both were good. Glad that they have pescatarian option.

The fried rice is different but delicious. Best Asian food in Marble Falls. Decent sushi but a bit expensive for what you get there.

I told myself it was going to be a chill night. Just noodles, maybe a drink, nothing dramatic…read more The place looked promising from the outside--warm lantern light, a faded sign, that quiet hum of people who seemed like they knew what they were ordering. I stepped in, sat down, and pointed at something on the menu that had a picture of glossy, perfect noodles. What arrived... was not that. The noodles were pale, limp, and somehow both soggy and dry at the same time. I took one bite. It tasted like regret. Another bite--worse. There was a strange bitterness, like someone had boiled the concept of disappointment into broth. I waved the server over, but before I could say anything, the lights flickered. Once. Twice. Then everything went dark. When the lights came back on, the restaurant was empty. No customers. No staff. Just me... and the bowl of cursed noodles. A scratching sound echoed from the kitchen. I stood up--because of course I did--and took a few cautious steps forward. The swinging kitchen door creaked open on its own, like it had been waiting for me. Inside, the air smelled... wrong. Earthy. Damp. Ancient. Then something moved. At first I thought it was just a rat. Then I realized it was *far* too big. Then it stood up. "Ah," it said, its voice layered like a chorus of whispers. "The one who tasted the offering." I froze. "The... what?" "The noodles," it said. "A test. And you survived." Before I could respond, the floor beneath me collapsed. -- I woke up in a cavern lit by flickering green fire. Stone pillars carved with writhing rodent shapes surrounded me. In the center stood a towering figure--half rat, half something far older. "The Rat God," it declared, spreading its clawed arms. "Devourer of scraps. King beneath the cities. And now... your opponent." I didn't remember signing up for this. "I just wanted decent noodles," I said. The Rat God hissed. "Then you should have chosen wisely." It lunged. I barely dodged, rolling across the stone floor. My hand hit something--a broken metal ladle. Not exactly a heroic weapon, but I wasn't in a position to be picky. The Rat God struck again, claws carving grooves into the stone. I darted between pillars, heart pounding, trying to think. "Fight," it snarled. "Or be consumed." "Working on it!" I shot back. It charged. At the last second, I leapt aside and slammed the ladle into one of the glowing green flames. The metal flared with eerie light. I didn't question it--I just swung. The ladle connected with the Rat God's side, and it *screeched*, stumbling back. Okay. That worked. Now it was a fight. I ducked, dodged, and struck again, each hit glowing brighter. The cavern shook as the Rat God grew more frantic, more furious. "You are nothing!" it roared. "Yeah?" I said, breathing hard. "I survived your noodles." That seemed to genuinely offend it. With a final, desperate leap, I drove the glowing ladle straight into its chest. There was a blinding flash. Silence. -- I woke up back at my table. The restaurant was normal again. People chatting. Dishes clinking. The server standing beside me. "Everything okay?" they asked. I looked down at my bowl. The noodles looked exactly the same. I pushed it away. "Yeah," I said, standing up. "I'm... not that hungry anymore." As I walked out, I could've sworn I heard a faint voice from the kitchen: "We will meet again..." I didn't look back. Next time, I decided, I was getting takeout from somewhere safer.

Always enjoy their General Tso chicken, with rice, plenty of food for the price. Pretty fast…read moreservice Will be back again for sure

I ordered Kyoto Sushi & Steak through Uber Eats for dinner for myself and Thing One and Thing Two,…read moreand while the menu reads promising, the execution landed squarely in the "fine, but not worth the price" category. For a casual sushi/hibachi spot, the flavors didn't quite match the cost of the meal. We started with the Hot & Sour Soup ($8.75), which was serviceable but not particularly memorable. The acidity was there, but the broth lacked the depth and layered heat you expect from a well‑balanced hot & sour. It did the job, but it didn't stand out. I added an avocado salad ($9.85), which was literally sliced avocado over lettuce. Fresh, yes. Elevated? Not at all. At nearly ten dollars, I expected something with more intention -- a composed salad, not a deconstructed sandwich topping. The Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice ($14.25) was the strongest part of the order and the dish the kids gravitated toward. The rice itself was well‑fried with good wok heat and distinct grains -- no clumping, no soggy texture. But the chicken felt like an afterthought. It was cooked properly, but it didn't carry any seasoning of its own, almost as if it was tossed in at the end rather than cooked into the dish. The base was solid; the protein just didn't match the flavor energy. The milk tea ($5.45) was honestly the highlight -- cold, creamy, and exactly what it should be. Sometimes the simplest items are the ones that land. Total before tip: $53.31 For a family dinner delivered, the convenience was appreciated, but the value wasn't there. Nothing was bad, but nothing was crave‑worthy either. With so many sushi and hibachi options in the Georgetown/Austin area offering stronger flavor and better balance, Kyoto Sushi & Steak didn't quite justify the price tag. If you're nearby and need something quick for the family, it works. But if you're looking for flavor depth or a more intentional build, there are better options in the area.

Unfortunately, a below average Chinese buffet…read more I'll start off by stating that I like to think that I'm understanding when it comes to rating buffets. I'm not expecting outstanding quality food, but there's still a bar. I'll start off with the best items - frog legs, fried rice, and the french fries (yes, I know). Most other items were alright or below average for a Chinese buffet. One of the main concerns that I have is just that a lot of the food appears to have been sitting at the buffet tables for quite some time. I think some items were never touched, let alone refilled, from when we first came in and then left. So it's hard to really tell what is "fresh". Many of the items are mislabeled which can be annoying. Most of the silverware is also dirty, even the ones that you get when you are first seated. Speaking of seats, the seats at the booth we were at were sticky. We moved to a table. Those seats were sticky as well. Service is a bright spot for this restaurant. Wait staff was very attentive and nice. I wish I could provide a better rating. Though if given the opportunity to visit again, I would politely decline.
