Unfortunately, a below average Chinese buffet. I'll start off by stating that I like to think that I'm understanding when it comes to rating buffets. I'm not expecting outstanding quality food, but there's still a bar. I'll start off with the best items - frog legs, fried rice, and the french fries (yes, I know). Most other items were alright or below average for a Chinese buffet. One of the main concerns that I have is just that a lot of the food appears to have been sitting at the buffet tables for quite some time. I think some items were never touched, let alone refilled, from when we first came in and then left. So it's hard to really tell what is "fresh". Many of the items are mislabeled which can be annoying. Most of the silverware is also dirty, even the ones that you get when you are first seated. Speaking of seats, the seats at the booth we were at were sticky. We moved to a table. Those seats were sticky as well. Service is a bright spot for this restaurant. Wait staff was very attentive and nice. I wish I could provide a better rating. Though if given the opportunity to visit again, I would politely decline. read more

New name Li Wu Buffet. I still Love their food. It's fast and easy to get. The price has went up but food is still good. Fresh Food! And tender! Imitation crab with cheese Coconut Shrimp served in evening Crab Rangoon Tender chicken with Broccoli Black pepper jalapeños chicken is to spicy for me but my husband loves it. Green beans Chow mien Potato wedges And More. Of course desserts. There is very nice waitress and waiter that's keep clearing our empty plates and filling our drinks. Plus I'm in wheelchair and they always move a chair for me. Which I kindly appreciate! Yes sometimes they make mistakes but they're human I have never seen a restaurant that was perfect. There is a great variety, the food is always fresh and the staff are very attentive. My favorite go to restaurant.

I've been in here a few times and while it's your typical Americanized Chinese food it's still good, clean, nice staff, comfy temp, not loud. It's not my first choice for Asian food but it is good when I want Chinese buffet. read more

This place is done, probably never going back. Something "digestive" happens when I eat here. The restrooms always smell "destroyed" and I'm convinced there is a good reason for that. I don't expect too much from these buffet places, and never review anything, in fact this is my first yelp review. I don't know what they charge for a buffet and water, but it costs 42bucks for 2 and 3% for card. Would've stayed and ate our moneys worth, but the "digestive" thing happened and we had to leave. I even consider myself to have a cast iron stomach! This has happened on more than one occasion, and this time it happened to both of us. I am by no means a picky eater, I tried almost everything in the buffet- from the sushi to the pastries to the meats. all of it made me feel sick, I tried the crab rangoons and it was WATERY inside. the only good thing at this place was the people working there, very kind people! would have gave it zero stars but that wasn't an option, to start we asked for Dr. peppers and got dr Pepper that tasted like medicine. Then the food was all old sour and soggy. We had sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, Fried rice fried shrimp, butter potatoes and egg drop soup. All of which we weren't able to take more than one bite of do too how nasty it was. I go here often and this was by far the worst experience we've ever had. upon telling cashier about the horrendous food we got a six dollar discount and still had to pay $38 for almost throwing up their food. I wanted to post a review that was recent because my husband and I saw the reviews and thought "those are kinda old, it cant be that bad" but we ate our words. The food was horrible. The crab dumplings were cold inside and the crust was so hard to bite through. The sesame and general tso chicken was slimy, the fried scallops were cold, the egg rolls had a rotten vegetable taste, and the sushi was not fresh. We didn't even finish half our first plate before we left. And on our way out, they were cutting green beans on the counter by the register. We will not be coming back. read more

Go here almost every week for the pepper chicken and fried catfish. Very clean and well stocked buffet. Never disappointed.

This is the 2nd time we've been here and my experience is the same. It's horrible. Food is luke warm or cold. Fried foods taste old and stale like they've been sitting out all day or possibly longer. My family took me here for dinner when I was visiting in August. The glass etching when you first walk in is spectacular, my eyes were instantly drawn to it. I had a nice view of it from where I was seated as well. The decor of the entire place was nice and eye catching. The temperature of the place was stifling. The couple of fans they had when you first walk in was not cutting it when its 100+ degrees outside with 60% humidity. The young man who provided us with our drinks was very attentive and friendly. He keep our drinks filled the entire time. The food was hit and miss. Which is expected at a buffet in my opinion. Some of it was cold and unpleasant to eat. The hostess working behind the counter didn't so much as look at us when we walked in. She didn't greet us, she didn't say be right with you shortly, she didn't direct us, nothing. She sat there with her head down. So we stood there. My grandpa hinted that we wanted to be served so he asked if we pay now or later, to which this brat momentarily brought her head up with a smug look on her face and said " later." Then she immediately looked back down!!! BITCH. All the food was old, cold and the cheapest of quality and ingredients. The spring rolls were nothing but fried mush! There was virtually no filling in the roll and what little there was had an indistinguishable taste. I have no clue what that Spring roll had stuffed in there. The sushi was also very old, cold and soggy. The worst sushi I've ever had. Some dishes were warm and edible but for the most part the buffet consisted of dry, tough meats drenched in sauces. This place is a disgrace to Asian cuisine and reflects the typical nature of a burned out Chinese management that lacks all pride in what they do! read more

This place seems to have some very mixed reviews. I have eaten the lunch buffet here several times over the last few years and I must say I think that they have improved a bit. The place is very casual, it's relatively clean and seems to be a feeding place for many working men. It was fairly crowded for a Wednesday. Seating was quick and your drink arrives before you get back with your full plate. The food today was all hot---which has been a problem in the past. Cold Chinese is not very appetizing. The variety is pretty extensive and most items seem fresh and tasty. After all folks---it's a Chinese buffet---it's not Uchiko in Austin TX. I think it's pretty good for buffet food and when I see one of the cooks filling a plate and returning to the kitchen--it somehow makes me feel better. And for $8.00 -- you can't go wrong. I called up there today to see if they could refund my money, the lady at the register informed was no help at all saying my card had already been processed and they don't offer free meals no matter what. We chose not to get the buffet & ordered from the menu. Not one price on the bill matched the menu prices & there were two mystery charges. I circled the items on the (paper) menu to show the discrepancies. When shown the bill & the menu prices, the person argued & gave a 'barely English' run around. It was completely senseless & about a $10 over charge for 3 soups, chicken wing appetizer & one lo mein. I won't return. It was okay food. Pretty much what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. For me the food was warm and the people were very friendly. They're crab Rangoon tasted weird to me. The sushi was was decent as is most of their food honestly. For me around 3:00 I paid $14 for a one person buffet and a sprite. If your hungry and want something quick it's not bad but if you want really good Chinese food I would go to a sit down Chinese restraunt and not a buffet. The place was decent. Not the best but it was decent. The food was average. Not real fancy of anything. I didn't really like it but it is food and I like any food so... I got the vegetarian fried rice and lo Mein. They weren't too full of taste. The were pretty bland. I also got the honey chicken. The chicken was a hit or miss. It was either super good or super bad. Bad meaning when I bit into it there was something hard and weird in it and I had to spit it out. Super good meaning it was tasty and didn't have any weird things in it. I then got some egg drop soup which is my favorite. Here I didn't really like it. It was 70% oil. Much too oily. But I still liked it. I then tried the ice cream. The ice cream was pretty good. It tastes fresh. I don't know about the other food though. The food probably wasn't fresh. However the service was nice. The waiter was cute...................................... Hehe. He was nice and was active in serving me. So to top it all off the food could use some work but other than that it's pretty good. I have to go again to try the other things. read more

This is my first time to eat here and we were very impressed. Very casual atmosphere but the food was very good and so was the service.

Personally, I love grand buffet. Sometimes the food is fresh, good tasting, (especially) the sushi, but sometimes, well, it's just not fresh at all. Favorites : Lo mein, Black Pepper Chicken, Wonton. Overall, if your looking for a place to eat, this isn't even that expensive. It's an all you can eat buffet, 8$ alone?? I'd say that this is a great deal. But honestly, if you come, and the food isn't fresh, try another time. The waiters are so kind, and friendly. Good service. By far this is recommended by me. read more
