When I went to pick it up, the first thing that was different is that their prices do not reflect the prices on their website. The price difference was $7 higher. Then, when I got home, we looked at the pizza. You could see a few small pepperonis, and tiny tiny bits of other things. We thought we got the wrong pizza. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED...we have ordered from Gina's for many years and never had an issue, until today. It was so big that these loyal customers will never order again. We placed an order that was over 20 minutes late to be delivered. My husband called and was told they were busy but reassured order was on the way. About 30 more minutes went by and still no order. Husband called back and was told the order was never placed but he still had gotten charged. The person that spoke to him was so nonchalant and could care less. Husband asked to speak to Manager, Deja who was extremely rude and kept telling my husband how busy they were and not once apologized or tried to make any of this better. I don't know why or how this place got anything less then 5 stars! Food is Amazing! I highly recommend their BBQ Chicken pizza...so much flavor! I also got their calamari...Bomb! The staff was friendly and place was super clean! Today was my 2nd time visiting and I'll definitely be going back! So, to be fair, we can only review what we ordered, but the pizza was SO disappointing and surprisingly bad, that i had to write a review. It's a typical pizza place ambiance, wood tables, spilled beer, and that's all ok. We ordered the margherita pizza. It was SO BREADY and BLAND; some pieces literally had nothing on them (just cooked bread). Very little sauce or flavor. We dumped all the extra spices we could find, which they do provide - salt, garlic, pepper flakes... Super disappointed as the sign said "Voted best in OC". Generally I'm a fan of Ginas. Long standing family business, good pizza, accessible locations. The pizza is the stand out here. Can't really go wrong. Tasty fresh crust. I wish the pizzas at this location were cooked a little longer. I put mine in the broiler for 3-5 min just to get the cheese a little more bubbly and browned. The $12 spaghetti and meatballs isn't worth it. 2 meatballs and 3 lbs of spaghetti and sauce... for that price should be 3 or 4 meatballs. Sauce only so-so... watery pasta. This place is so overpriced. It's always been on the expensive side but $15 for $2 worth of salad / pasta is insane. I called and asked if I received the wrong size or if they changed it and was told it's always been like this. The family size has always been in a large clear, square container. The proportions were also way off; tiny amount of greens. They clearly gave me a regular or they halved the rasta salad family size. $30 for a meatball sub and this salad isn't inflationary, this is bs. I have been going to the CdM Gina's since 1980. It used to be consistently good. Not so much anymore but the Harbor location is AWFUL. I have ordered delivery from the Harbor location a couple of times now and it's TERRIBLE. This location is CONSISTENTLY terrible. I don't mean a little terrible, I mean Little Cesar's terrible. Is it even associated with the original Gina's? I ordered a well done cheese pizza recently and couldn't even believe it was associated with the original Gina's. Look at the picture. Does this look like a well done pizza? Where's the sauce? This is a $20 medium cheese pizza that has no sauce. How hard is it to make a cheese pizza? Also, Gina's used to have a thicker crust, which I loved. Look at the crust in the picture. Have the kids changed the recipe? Why? I ate a couple slices of this disgusting pizza b/c I was insanely hungry. I'm throwing the rest in the garbage. No sauce, the crust is terrible. I will NEVER eat here again. Asked for light anchovies chopped up and spread around received whole filets in regular amount instead. Got big, salty, fishy bites. Proper anchovy pie shouldn't impart salt bombs like that. Great place for single slice pizza. Walked over from Connell Chevrolet to wait for AC repair. This is my first visit to a Gina's Pizza and I bit off more than I can chew! I ordered a the Favorite Lunch Special and got one slice expecting not to get full. Well I kinda did and had more time on my hands, so I ordered another slice. Okay, it took some work getting it down. I was way full! The customer service is great! The staff looks happy to be at work. The restaurant is very clean and organized. Regarding the pizza, the crust is crisp and the toppings are healthy. The pizza is tasty and gets plenty of cheese. Btw, the cheese is properly melted even though the slices are rich in toppings. I have so many amazing things to say about this location and their staff! First of all, you cannot beat the quality of their food. It tastes homemade and after eating, you feel full and satisfied. Usually eating a slice of pizza or two of other companies, I always feel yucky and regretful because the food is so unhealthy from all the grease from meat and cheese and whatever else is in it. But Gina's pizza is the BEST!!!!! It's never greasy and tastes so wholesome and flavorful :) it fits the expression "made with love" The staff is so attentive and customer service is superb. Such a friendly place! The location is also so cute and aesthetically pleasing. It's like being in Italy! Can't wait to go here again, hopefully I can post more pictures :) read more

Caprese Gnocchi with bellalinda sauce: The gnocchi is rubbery, like the kind from a vacuum sealed container you can get from a grocery store, but the bellalinda creamy marinara sauce is nice so I could still enjoy this dish. Comes with garlic bread which was buttery and crispy but the bread was not incredibly fresh. Gnocchi 3/5, Bellalinda sauce 4/5. Crispy Ricotta Balls with "sauces": This is about 7 fried ricotta balls that come with two little cups of a reasonably decent marina sauce. I ordered from Doordash and this item was $8.99 so I was a little disappointed in the size but the quality of ricotta was good and the friedness was all that I wanted in an appetizer 4/5. Pizza: Went with original crust, which is the medium-thickness Sicilian style pizza and it was an excellent choice. The perimeter had a nice slightly tough crustiness to it, the inside was soft but not overly doughy. Mozzarella cheese was high quality with good stringiness to it and with the ricotta as a topping - it was simply smashing. Overall for a modestly cheap pizza I was very impressed with the quality. 5/5. I would call this more of a pizzeria rather than a pastaria - which is unusual in Orange County! Typically the pastas are superior to the pizzas in these parts - but Gina's is a welcome addition to my Sunday pizza ordering routine. Although I do have to order through Doordash and pay their pesky hiked up prices and delivery fees, I feel like this is a nice treat to break up the monotony of the chain pizza places. RUN!! Manager DEJA J is the rudest most unprofessional "manager" I've ever spoken with. I called to let them know our order of wings, house salad, and pizza was so far from Gina's quality (we used to be a huge fan, until tonight) I didn't want money back or anything I just called to let the manager know about quality control for the night because it was a disgrace.... I mentioned to Deja that there wasn't Parmesan cheese or crushed red peppers (the cheap paper packets) she proceeded to tell me they "needed to SAVE MONEY, that is expensive and they don't give that to door dash customers" She had the worst tone and was incredibly rude....My husband and I thought she was joking.... We laughed and asked if she was serious and she hung up on us. Instead of the usual I'm sorry that happened next time you come in, let me know kinda of thing. Nope not deja. I returned after calling to let them know issue. The young women behind counter spoke under her breath in Spanish. (Who knew, I live in California, of course I understood her) I asked the manager if I would get a refund or credit towards next order? I have always been given a credit when there is a mistake. If you like weird/sassy customer service when ordering over the phone, this is the place for you. If you like 90% crust and 10% toppings, then look no further. I called in to order a pizza and a young lady answered the phone. I asked to place an order and then went straight into what type of pizza, I got anxious, my bad. As I started I knew something felt off about me going straight to the order. She rudely interrupted me and then proceeded to boss me around like I've never ordered a pizza before. No people skills whatsoever and a really short and condescending tone coming from her. I then go to pick up the pizza, which I was already like oh great they think I'm the prick. I tell the young girl my name and then she does a double take at me and smirks. The whole time I'm there she probably smirked at me 4-5 times like I did something wrong or funny? Very confused and very uneasy feeling. I feel like this isn't the first time someone felt like this coming to this place... I don't even care about the pizza, it wasn't bad. Caesar Salad ($6.99) - 4 Stars Romaine, Fresh Parmesan, Croutons & Housemade Caesar Dressing - This is one of my FAVE Caesar dressings around becuz it's always consistent and they make it fresh. You can taste the lemon & anchovies. I like my Caesar dressings to have that fresh and salty taste and this one nails it all the time. The portion is huge for a salad...I was able to share this with 4 people tonite but for 2 peeps, it's a good starter salad. 02. Dinner Lasagna ($10.99) - 4 Stars Housemade Meat Lasagna - I occasionally will get their lasagna and it is always good. It's a lot so you an def share with 1 more person. It's ratio of meat, sauce, cheeses & pasta is perfect. I love that they give you a lot of sauce with it so it's super moist and YUMMY! Cheese Pizza (Kid's Meal $4.99) - 4 Stars Thick crusted pizza, lots of thick cheeses, veggies & drink - The single pizza slice is HUGE for a kid or even for any adult. If you think Costco's slice is big...THINK AGAIN! Their slices here are huge and thick crusted and never soggy like Costco's! The amount of cheese is plenty for any cheese lover. Though I thought they could add a bit more veggies but it's a lot of food for any kid under 10. In fact, it's a lot of food for an average adult. LUNCH DEALS - They have one of the best lunch deals around. Check them out, it's different sometimes. Though their deal of a slice of pizza, salad and a drink is still great. Not sure what the price is now but it's a lot of food for lunch. OTHER DEALS - Tuesdays, they have $1.99 Slice pizza & 50 cents for each additional toppings. Kids EAT FREE on Wednesdays (Great bang for NO BUCK here)!!!! Happy Hour folks that love a deal, they have one for these folks too. HH is from 4-6pm SERVICE - Always friendly staff, if you don't see something on the menu, just ask becuz they do bend over backwards to please all their customers. They have some staffs that have been there forever. Tells you a lot. DECOR - Simply "Tuscany-ish", clean and cozy. SPACE - Not that big of a dining area so for a large group, you basically will take up the entire area. There are patio/outdoor seatings in the front. Even if it rains, you won't get wet.
