Lasagna and focaccia bread
Kaylee L.

I ordered online for pickup to go. The food was ready in 10 min. I ordered the meat lasagna which came with garlic herb focaccia bread. The bread had good flavor but it was overly toasted and hard like a brick. . The lasagna sauce lacked flavor other than being overly salty. The pasta was brittle like it was previously frozen, definitely not made fresh. The food was a bit disappointing and I would not recommend it.

I decided to get lemonade nearby and saw this place. Decided to get pesto since they had it in the menu. It was a 15 minute wait to pick up my order. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The people were helpful and there is something for everyone. There is also seating available at this location. I got my order to go.

Great place to get your pizza fix! Gina's is a fast casual pizzeria (order at the counter and they call you up when your order is ready) that sells pizzas, pastas, and salads. They also offer pizza by the slice and their specialty is their giant slices! All are made to order, too! Plenty of seating inside and it's a comfortable/casual atmosphere. I would definitely return again!

stumbled upon gina's pizza just passing by once, and now it's hands down mine and my boyfriend's favorite pizza spot. if you're into thin crust, this place is a must-try. we always get the margherita pizza -- simple but so delicious and fresh every time. perfect crust, great sauce, and the cheese melts just right. definitely a go-to for pizza nights or picnics :)

pep & jalapeno; sausage & jalapeno (regular slices; their jumbo slices are massive and the size of an entire box)

My favorite pizza spot in the OC. I'm not quite a pizza connoisseur, but I know what pizza I like and could argue it is objectively very good. I truly love how this place allows you to customize your slice however you like. My go to is always a sausage and jalapeno slice--absolutely delish. The staff are incredibly friendly. I think the owner is usually always there, too? I can always strike up a friendly conversation myself, but the staff usually does too. It's a quaint little place off of PCH. You can get lucky with street parking, but there is a parking space right behind it. It's 15 minutes free and $4 after, if I'm not mistaken. I enjoyed dining in here, and also taking the pizza to go. Reheats well on a stovetop, air fryer, or even in the oven!

I was recommended to come here for some really good pizza. So I decided to stop in and pre-order a pizza before arriving. They were very helpful over the phone because I did not know what to order. I ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza with vegetables and it took them about eight minutes to make it. When I arrived, they had the pizza ready for me and the service was quick, smooth, and they were very polite. There was one person making the pizza, one of them was prepping the orders, and the other one was charging me at the register. Good teamwork! The pizza was really yummy. It was not too oily, which I totally appreciate! It was a thin pizza, but it was exactly what we're looking for. I would definitely come back. By the way, there is seating inside if you're interested. Parking is easy as well. But it is a shopping center so there's not many seats outside if that's what you're looking for. But go inside, smell the yummy pizza, and enjoy your own pizza too.

Tasted like frozen pizza. My wife paid $65 for 1 small, 1 medium and pasta salad. It sucked bad.

I highly recommend making a reservation before going because when we arrived, the line was down to the parking lot. It was packed! We instantly got sat and our server, Alex, stopped by with some water and greeted us. We were informed on Mother's day, they have a set menu. It was 2 salads, 2 apps, 4 entrees and 3 desserts for $55 per person. This was a lot of food! We honestly got full after the apps hit. Everything was sooo delicious and yummy. Alex, was extremely nice and friendly throughout the entire experience. They were very busy and all the servers were running around so we understood if he fell behind. We felt bad because the table next to us was giving him a hard time and being rude about the menu and how they didn't like certain items on the menu yet Alex stayed very professional and helpful with them. 10/10 food and experience, i will forsure be back to try more food and cocktails and request Alex's section!

My Chicken Marsala was "Kid size" and so was my wife's Entree. Very disappointed with the size and the taste! Didn't taste the Marsala in the sauce? They also cut back on the spagetti that comes with it too! For a $30 you should get a descent size piece of chicken. I've had bigger pieces of chicken at McDonald's. We will be looking for a different place to eat at in the future more.... I figured it out. My wife told the Server "both of us will have Chicken Marsala" and we will split a salad. The chicken was split and the salad came out whole. Unsure how the bill came out as my son paid and no receipt given.

The extraordinary thing about the Pasta Sisters is that they offer house made pastas, which guarantees a higher price point, but offers unparalleled texture. The spaghetti has a "bite" that you get from a true "al dente" pasta. Their cheese tortellini were incredibly rich and cheesy, but a touch salty. The drawback of this location is that it's a ghost kitchen. You order it online and the order will be ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The location does not have seating, and you eat it at your own convenience. If you live/work locally, then this can be definitely worth checking out. Because I live out of town, I have to enjoy it either in my car, after a long drive home, or at my wife's office; however, I want to enjoy these $20 pastas in a restaurant, with wine and good company. A ghost kitchen is very different than a restaurant experience. I hope they do choose to bring their restaurant to the OC one day.

I found this place not by one, not by two, not by three, but by four different food influencers…read morethat I follow on Facebook so I definitely had to give this place a try. I've passed by it so many times, but it never really caught my eye sitting there off Newport Boulevard, so I'm glad I checked out someplace new that kept getting recommended over and over. I ended up getting the small Italian hoagie and a cheese calzone with their Sunday sauce. The Italian sub was stacked too. Pepper ham, salami, capicola, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet peppers, hot peppers, pickles, oil and vinegar all packed into a soft Italian roll. Every bite had a different flavor going on from the salty meats to the sharp provolone and the crunch from the lettuce and peppers. The oil and vinegar tied everything together perfectly and gave it that classic deli sandwich taste. Even the small size was filling. The cheese calzone was huge and baked perfectly. The outside had that crispy golden brown crust with little charred spots all over it and a nice crunch when you cut into it. Inside was parmesan, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese all melted together and super cheesy without feeling too heavy. Then you dip it into the Sunday sauce and that's what takes it over the top. Their Sunday sauce is tomato based but infused with the drippings from their homemade beef and pork meatballs so it has a deeper richer flavor than regular marinara. You can definitely taste the difference. Really glad I finally stopped here because now I totally get why so many people were talking about it. Definitely a place I'll be coming back
