I had been wanting to come here after seeing so many posts online. I got the lemon slice and was so pleased with my choice. It came out in 10 minutes after a fast order at the counter during what should be a lunch rush. Service was easy and I appreciate the counter seating for those solo diners like myself. It was flavorful, ricotta in the right amount, and paired with a sparkling water hit the spot. I love lemon and had never considered or seen it with pizza before. I'll definitely be back. read more

Amazing pizza really like the portions and price was nice also. 8.3/10 still need to try the ice cream here and the white pizza but so far my favorite was the spicy pepperoni. read more

A foodie friend told me to get in here shortly after Gimani opened this spring, and I kind of blew her off. I remembered the place with a similar menu that had been here before (the first in this space after the remodel), I thought about the whole "slice parlor" concept that's getting to be old hat these days and I thought, "Someday." But I never really rushed - I mean, haven't we seen this again and again, all over the country? Big mistake. I should have gotten in here right away: Gimani is WAY better than I expected. Yeah, it's pizza, and it's in the same by-the-slice, "add hot honey, add ricotta" theme that's been going in bigger markets on this side of the pond for years now. But it's better. I had an "Angry" and a special Calabrian pepper slice. Gimani's dough is remarkably flavorful - seriously. The crisp on the slices is just so - a thin crust your teeth note as they break, and then a soft tear. The sauce is wonderfully flavorful - not the traditional stuff from Back East, for sure, but a wonderful gentle subnote of garlic that pushes you into happiness. The toppings are sized right and proportioned right. The cheese is right - tasty, but not overwhelming your experience. Balance - the whole thing has balance, but somehow you note and enjoy every bit of it. (Bravo!) And the service is delightful - friendly people who do a great job of making sure you have a good time and get your money's worth . . . and that you know your visit was appreciated. Wow. (It must be a great place to work - the spirit of the staff was really something. I'd urge you to consider tipping heavier than normal when you order on entry, because if you don't you may well feel bad about it when you see how great the staff is.) The room is clean and modern and has lots of different seating. There's a great patio outside which is probably a wonderful place on warmer evenings than the one when I visited. Order at the front; they bring it to you. (And check on you, over and over.) Fountain drinks you get yourself. I didn't have any alcohol, but I noticed Gimani has a nice selection of beers and some wine. Heavy pours were apparent in the wine glasses I saw. The salads were quite large (I need to try one next time). It got quite busy during a weeknight supper but there were always still tables (bussed immediately upon a party's departure) and the noise level was never terrible - even when a family with a lot of kids sat near us. Great place - I look forward to returning and I'm very much looking forward to another taste of those slices. read more

My absolute FAVE pizza spot in ABQ! The pizza is soooo good, and it's always consistent. The prices are decent for how amazing the quality is, and the staff is always super nice. Also, the interior is so aesthetically pleasing and their patio is super nice too. read more

I really love the concept of this place. It's a pizza slice bar. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you. The decor is simple and sleek and fresh with green tiles, some booth seating and tables. You can also sit at the counter, and there is a large outdoor patio for nice days. The menu is simple - - a handful of different pizzas, a couple of choices of salad, and a small wine and beer menu, and gelato. Pizza comes by the slice, but they are really large slices. We ordered three slices - - The "White Lemon," which has fresh mozzarella, fontina, lemon, and whipped ricotta. We also ordered the "Angry," which is a pepperoni pizza with thinly sliced jalapenos, and the daily special, which was a pepperoni pizza with strips of green chili. We also ordered a chopped salad, which was big enough to share three ways. All were delicious! Believe it or not, with just one slice each, we were too full to even try gelato! read more

Unique and super tasty slices of gourmet scrumptiousness! The pizza was amazing in our opinion. Loved the thin crust, baked to perfection with just the right amount of chewiness to crunch! We had the mix of four slices, pizza flight. We tried the white lemon, the angry, the pep (ramped up) and a basil pesto slice. All were epic! The service was great and we received a free gelato as first time visitors. The building was modern, clean and comfortable. We will most definitely be back! read more

5 stars for the food we love entire menu. However, last 2 visits the restrooms were in need of attention. My partner is hesitant to return. Should be an easy fix Thank you read more

We shared 4 different slices of pizza and they were all delicious! They are huge slices by the way. We also split a regular salad which was delicious and plenty for 4 people to split. Our friend who had been there before said the Caesar salad was also great. We weren't drinking at lunch but they had a good selection of beer and wine available. You do have to go to the register to order but they bring your food out. Very friendly staff. I will go back and take my hubby; he will enjoy it also. Atmosphere is nothing fancy but clean and open and it has a nice patio if it's warm out. read more

This place is amazing!! Perfect mix of incredible food (Pizza)!! And unbelievably nice team members. I see the same folks every time I am in town which is about every 3 months! You can tell, it is a great place to work. read more

Came here for lunch with a couple of friends. You order at the counter and then sit down. They have 4 types of pizza, and you order by the slice. I was there at 11:30am for lunch on a Friday, and was informed that they were out of the sauce used for the lemon ricotta pizza and that it would be an HOUR before it was available again. They've been open for a while so that seems....bad? I ended up getting a pepperoni and it was good, but I would have preferred to get a pizza with vegetables on it instead. The prices are high but the slice is very big. It's also a large enough place that you can hang out for an hour or two without feeling like you're bothering anyone. Overall I'd go back, but I'm not in any particular hurry to do so. read more

Much faster service than the first time, less crowded too on a Saturday afternoon. The chopped salad is bright and summery, perfectly balanced, crisp, and the olives are unexpectedly delish. The lemon pizza is my hands-down fave, but so far all of them have been excellent and huge. Two slices is more than enough to fill you up, so sharing a flight makes a great option on a date. It's a bit noisy, but I bet the patio in summer would be fun for a group. read more

Their pizza is really freaking good. It is "fancy pizza". We enjoy are favorites and get a slice of one of the specials to try, they are always fun. Good salads. Good beer and wine options. Service, although not a typical sit down format, has been very good. It is sometimes a bit of a hassle to find a table and wait inline, on busy nights, only really a pain with young kids. read more

A complex menu isn't needed here, in fact, it's the simplicity that entices. This is no ordinary slice bar, but rather traditional offerings mingled with an avant garde twist, and what it does it does well. I ordered the white lemon slice (lemon, fresh mozz, fontina, whipped ricotta), and it was mahvelous. Simultaneously light and savory with just the right amount of crunch! Absolutely delightful on such a hot summer day. I also tried the sweet cream & cherry swirl gelato drizzled with olive oil & sea salt...perfecto! I'll most certainly return and try another slice (possibly the ramped up pepp?) And a salad...perhaps even a glass of vino to accompany:) Don't miss this hot spot... read more

Gimani - Fresh and fast and a perfect size meal - Pizza Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

I love pizza and this place has taken pizza to a whole new level!! The peices are huge and I can only barely eat one before I have to tap out. I know they do gelato too but I'm always too full to try it. It looks delicious though. The white lemon (lemon, fresh mozz, fontina, and whipped ricotta) is light and refreshing with just enough tartness to balance out the sweetness of the whipped ricotta. My friends really loved the pepp (pepperoni, hot honey, tomato, fresh + aged mozz) they said it was just a touch of sweet to balance out the spicy/savory. They also tried the angry (pepperoni, pickled jalapenos, spicy tomato, fresh + aged mozz) they said it was good but too spicy for them. My personal favorite is the pineapple (pancetta, house pineapple jam, pecorino, fresh + aged mozz) it delivers a perfect sweet and savory in every bite and because they use a pineapple jam instead of just chunks of pineapple it is bursting with pineapple flavor in every bite. I LOVE pineapple on pizza, it is the best pizza topping in my opinion. You come in and decide what you want off the menu, you can order individual slices or a flight of 4 slices. They have salads, a couple pasta options, wine, beer, and gelato. The shop is clean and spacious with cute lighting and a patio to sit on if the weather is nice. The staff is nice and helpful, they will even bring you a pizza cutter from the back if you want to slice your slice into a more manageable size. Check it out for sure!! read more

Came here on Friday for dinner with a friend. Got here about 6:30 and the line was out the door. But, between standing in line, ordering to receiving food was about 30 minutes total. My friend got the margherita and I decided to go with the ramped up version of the pepperoni (adding burrata and EVOO to the pepperoni and hot honey). The menu is simple and prices seem reasonable for what you get. The slices are thin, but big and fulfilling. We ordered gelato ahead of time, but just had to show our receipt later on to save us from standing in line. We got the soft gelato swirl with cream and pomegranate topped with olive oil and sea salt, which had more of a sweet/ nutty flavor to it. I would say the pizza is good, but I've had better before. But, it's definitely worth checking out. 2024 #18 read more

OK, so this review is specifically for the gelato because sadly when I came I had just eaten and didn't quite have enough room for the pizza. Although I will say the pizza and salad looked delicious and I will absolutely be rushing back, the gelato itself was absolutely unreal. They top it with olive oil and sea salt, which I've never tried anything similar. It was so creamy and overall a great warm weather treat. I also had a sip of one of the drinks and I can't wait to try a few of the different spritz options. read more

Well after seeing lots of posts about this place, I decided I needed to give it a try. The pepperoni with hot honey was pretty good and of course I had the gelato which I ate first and have no picture of. The place was bright and hoppin. Plenty of seating in and out and if you feel so inclined to sit and the bar and watch the magic happen please do. Workers were on top of it! Making sure everything was cleaned up. Bummer though, my friend had one bite left and they thought he was done and took his plate. I tried the lemon one, I do like lemon and it was just okay for me. Squeezing lemon juice makes it a bit better but getting a bite was sufficient. Will definitely return, will be curious to see what the special is next time. read more

Great salad at a bargain for the portion given. Did not get to try the pizza, but later read the sourdough crust is gluten-free. Gelato was good, but the vanilla is preferable to the strawberry and a little pricy for the portion. Wonderful, attentive service. You can place your order all at once and ask for a ticket to claim your gelato later so that it does not melt while you are eating your meal. Gets very crowded but line moves fairly quickly. read more

Food was great, the cashier has terrible customer service and couldn't explain Gimani menu to me and my wife, very rude.

I really liked this place. I think it is a nice place to go as a group. Modern Industrial feel with Italian undertones. Now for the good part. Great Pizza!!! This is not my favorite pizza in Albuquerque. In fact you don't come here if you want pizza, per se. You come here for Gimani pizza. It hits different. They take classic gourmet brick oven style and add..... weirdness. White Lemon Pizza. White....... Lemon....... Pizza? Enough said. Well we wanted to try this place so we got a flight of pizza. One of each of the 4 slices they offer. $25. They are all different and all really good. I highly recommend trying the flight of pizza. By the way, the foofy weird White Lemon Pizza was AMAZING!!!! Not a place I would go to all the time. But if you want WHITE LEMON PIZZA, where else are you gonna go? read more

Gimani - Top to bottom. Honey pep, pineapple, angry, and white. - Pizza Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

We had heard great things about Gimani and decided to try it. It has a very fun atmosphere, a simple menu and friendly and efficient servers. We tried the pizza flight, where you choose 4 slices for $25 and a Caesar salad. There are 6 slices choices, and we chose the Margh leveled up (with burrata and prosciutto), the angry (pepperoni, pickled jalapeño, spicy tomato),, the white lemon (lemon, fresh mozzarella, fontina, whipped ricotta), and the special (sausage and peppers). We all thought each slice was cooked perfectly , but we liked the special best and the lemon least. It was interesting, but not our fave for pizza. E also asked for a side of hot honey and tried that on the various slices. It was a good and interesting addition. The salad was huge, fresh, and c it came with lots of shredded parm and delicious croutonss. The only minor complaint was we wished there were more croutons. Gimani also offers various spritzes, sodas , teas and several types of wine. It was delicious and fast, but e went at 5 on a Friday (quick entry and service), and by 6, the line was out the door.. Tip, go earlier if you can. The slices and salad are large, and with 3 of us we had leftovers. read more

Food My son and I both ordered the salads he ordered the chopped and I ordered the ceasar. I say go with the chopped it has lots of meat and is huge for 10 bucks definitely two can eat. The ceasar was marginal needs more good dressing and some type of protein to enhance it is so so. We ordered the flight it comes with four Big different specialty slices and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend! Self serve drinks all you can drink - taste the dragon fruit very tasty and refreshing. Ambiance very clean nice location Service order as you walk in they take to your table. Service fast and friendly. Overall my sons 20 yr old favorite pizza spot in town. read more

I'm so glad this place is at Winrock, they have great friendly staff and their food is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge. They don't have a ton of items on their menu but I love their white lemon pizza, so good and fresh. Great lunch / dinner spot and definitely will be back. read more

Great pizza! I had the lemon ricotta , which was bright and fresh. The Caesar salad was oddly sweet, but the shaved parm on top was fluffy and tasty. We missed regular operating hours on our first trip out to Gimani so we were curious enough to give it another shot. We were glad we followed our curiosity and settled in for a few slices of their pie. My wife had a slice of margherita with basil which was reminiscent of the pie we had in Rome. I had pepperoni which was loaded with very tasty small slices of pepperoni and a sauce that had just the right amount of spice to make things interesting. We washed it all down with our favorite brew and a spritz. Whenever you happen to be in the Winrock area give Gimani a try. read more
