The dates were a nice sweet contrast to the salty goat cheese. I was impressed that they had a lot of healthy and gf options that were wonderful and didn't feel like an afterthought on the menu. I am told the blackstrap bbq chicken sandwich was wonderful. The chicken and onion straws were nice and crispy. The bbq sauce wasn't overpowering but added a nice addition to the sandwich. Luckily my brother and sister-in-law frequent this restaurant so they were able to gives us the details of what they thought was good, but I don't think you could go wrong with anything here. For the table we ordered a large antipasto salad with the Wise Guys dressing, the garlic knots, the mozzarella moons, and the fried meatballs. The salad was SO DELICIOUS. All of the vegetable tasted fresh with just the right amount of meat and cheese mixed in. The Wise Guys dressing was the star of the show though. This dressing has such a nice balance of flavor, but also that zip that salads need. The garlic knots were also so delicious too! The knots themselves were crispy yet fluffy... and they had a generous heaping of butter and garlic atop them. The mozzarella moons and meatballs were good but not special like the other two. I got the sausage riggies for my main course... and it was so good. First off, they give you an absolute heaping portion. I have had some good riggies in the past, but I think this may have been my favorite. The sauce was a great blend of creamy with spice from the hot cherry peppers. The sausage was also so flavorful yet not too rich. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for some good Italian food in the area.
