Lastly, the biscuits were nothing to write home about. They were not bad but they didn't wow. Overall, I gave Shorty's a three because the food didn't wow me. There was not anything wrong with the food we had at all, and we will probably be back in the future to try some of their other food. Otherwise, my wife and I also loved the feel of the diner itself.

We were the only dining customers in there at the time. When the order came out, the toast on the BLT and the bacon was cold. She said she would go "warm it up". We asked for new toast. I will say that the food tasted fine. My club sandwich would have been worth the menu price of $16 if it came with a side. However, my wife's BLT, even if it came with a side, would still be overpriced at $14. Overall, for the value, the food delivered was a bit pricey. Would we go there again to eat? No. But if all you want is to stop in for a drink or two, it would be fine.
