First off, the food and our waitress were amazing. I got the nachos and the Philly cheese steak. The sliced steak on the sandwich was incredibly juicy and flavorful. I was not expecting the sandwich to be that big. The drinks were always very well made, no complaints there. A couple things that deserve one less star is the fact that the service took quite awhile (claiming they were busy) but inside there were numerous open tables and the bar wasn't even half full. Not to mention the abundance of waitresses walking around. The hostess also stated that they couldn't put two of the outside tables together. Why not? No one else is sitting outside and we had 8 people. So our party was forced to sit separate from each other. Something I've never heard of at any other restaurant. read more

If you like crunchy wings you in the right place. The salad came out as I finished the wings. It was as advertised bacon, avocado, egg and chicken over greens. I asked for blue cheese on the side. This is where I made a mistake. Always taste the dressing before putting it on the salad. The lemon vinaigrette was not something I would like on anything. I poured it on the whole salad ruining it completely. I tried to muscle through but the tart flavorless dressing was to much and overpowered even the bacon flavor. I will eat here again because the menu seems good and I feel like I have just been unlucky. I am hopeful that next time I will give a four star. read more

Poor managerial skills made for a very bad experience! Hard plastic chunk found in Cobb Salad- not pleasant to bite down on that. Computers were down and nobody was told until after we had eaten and wanted to pay. They couldn't take credit cards, so the manager suggested we use the ATM next door, but didn't want to pay the fee. Who would ever suggest that when it was their problem with the computers??? We didn't get an itemized bill so we could check it. Instead, we got a hand written total on a piece of paper. Appetizer- we ordered the muscles as well as the lobster bisque the muscles were the showstopper for this time going to the Irish pub they were amazing with flavor depth of flavor something you would expect from a fine dining restaurant not an Irish pub so that was very unexpected and pleasurable how ever almost half of the muscles were not open there for I have to dock them because that is not except a bowl and the bread that was served was the consistency and texture of a over cooked hard old dumpling baguette would of been a way better option to serve with these muscles to dip the broth. The lobster bisque with some of the best bisque I've ever had the flavor was very full of lobster and you could see the small bits of lobster within the soup however the soup was served warm not as hot as I would like it with crackers I would rather had the best served either in a bread bowl or with a baguette to dip and crackers were a little off and cheap to me also would prefer to have large chunks of lobster within the bisque as well for the visual aspect of lobster in the lobster bisque but will definitely order those appetizers again Main courses - The Jamison burger was too sweet for my liking and canned out cooked more along the lines of medium medium well versus medium rare which I ordered there was no pink at all however was still juicy it was a severe lack of flavor and the red cabbage was very offputting it was very chunky versus the nice shredded red cabbage that I was expecting on my burger the sauce was good there just wasn't enough to make an impact on the burger it was missing something. The beef and cheddar would've been better if served with a cheese sauce versus sliced cheese in my opinion the beer and cheddar sandwich was missing something I either saw or another spice to elevate the dish . The chips that were served with the sandwiches were bled it is essential after frying potatoes you salt that this was not done which in turn made them taste very bland we ordered the Irish fries and gravy and we're given to small little things of the most generic bland tasting gravy you would expect which was very disheartening for the flavors of the appetizers in the charge was three dollars more per little cup of gravy which I think is absurd . overall not pleased with the main courses so far that we have tried . Overall will definitely be returning to order the muscles again because they were that good as well as enjoy the experience of this Irish pub would have given more star rating but have included why I have knocked them down on stars. I really wanted to give this place four start but I just couldn't. I really liked the Irish bar feel and the service was good. I did steal a bite of my husband's sandwich, I don't remember which on he got but it was really good. I got the fish and chips. The chips were really great a different. They were circular fries that came with some really good gravy. My only complaint was that the main part of my meal, the fish, was over cooked and dry. Based on the other reviews for this place it may have just been a one off. Despite that, I will be back. Just left Coleman's corner. Of course, it is a very busy day being St. Patrick's Day, and it was packed. The food was good and service was fairly quick especially for how many people were there. We ordered our food and got it quickly too. I ordered a second beer (while still eating), and shortly after, got a box to go. The server asked if we wanted our check right away with the box so we took it. I was finishing my beer and the hostess came up and rudely said "we have a policy that if you sit for 5 min after getting your check you need to go, so if you're just drinking you can go to the bar". I told her I ordered it as I was eating and was about to be done. I had one sip left of my beer and was trying to finish quickly and leave. She mentioned that she wasn't trying to be rude it's just her policy to tell people-that is the rudest comment I've received in a restaurant. We were there the standard amount of time (and other tables had been sitting there longer than me). The table behind me was only drinking and were there before I got there. I looked at the time and we were there a little over an hour. I understand there's a wait but clearly, I was finishing up and about to leave. Not to mention, when I first walked in, there were drunk older men hanging around the hostess stand flirting with the possibly underaged hostesses. They took a couple minutes to realize I was there waiting for a table (as the drunk guys were hanging around blocking the stand). Is there a policy for that? If you have a policy like that (esp. when it's busy) put it on the tables or tell people ahead of time. Also, your hostesses need training on customer service. Even if she did tell me there was a wait for the tables, she could have said it in a more professional, nicer way (it's not that hard). I was excited to finally try this place and that made me not want to come back. Would rather drive further to Syracuse or Canada for Irish food next time. read more
