Poor managerial skills made for a very bad experience! Hard plastic chunk found in Cobb Salad- not pleasant to bite down on that. Computers were down and nobody was told until after we had eaten and wanted to pay. They couldn't take credit cards, so the manager suggested we use the ATM next door, but didn't want to pay the fee. Who would ever suggest that when it was their problem with the computers??? We didn't get an itemized bill so we could check it. Instead, we got a hand written total on a piece of paper. That's unacceptable! read more

Just left Coleman's corner. Of course, it is a very busy day being St. Patrick's Day, and it was packed. The food was good and service was fairly quick especially for how many people were there. We ordered our food and got it quickly too. I ordered a second beer (while still eating), and shortly after, got a box to go. The server asked if we wanted our check right away with the box so we took it. I was finishing my beer and the hostess came up and rudely said "we have a policy that if you sit for 5 min after getting your check you need to go, so if you're just drinking you can go to the bar". I told her I ordered it as I was eating and was about to be done. I had one sip left of my beer and was trying to finish quickly and leave. She mentioned that she wasn't trying to be rude it's just her policy to tell people-that is the rudest comment I've received in a restaurant. We were there the standard amount of time (and other tables had been sitting there longer than me). The table behind me was only drinking and were there before I got there. I looked at the time and we were there a little over an hour. I understand there's a wait but clearly, I was finishing up and about to leave. Not to mention, when I first walked in, there were drunk older men hanging around the hostess stand flirting with the possibly underaged hostesses. They took a couple minutes to realize I was there waiting for a table (as the drunk guys were hanging around blocking the stand). Is there a policy for that? If you have a policy like that (esp. when it's busy) put it on the tables or tell people ahead of time. Also, your hostesses need training on customer service. Even if she did tell me there was a wait for the tables, she could have said it in a more professional, nicer way (it's not that hard). I was excited to finally try this place and that made me not want to come back. Would rather drive further to Syracuse or Canada for Irish food next time. read more

The food is phenomenal and the waitresses are wonderful! I would recommend trying the Irish fries with gravy.

Good food. Winter hours are shorter than listed. Kitchen staff not willing to cook past 8:15

This is my favorite restaurant in Watertown! It gets a little busy on weekend evenings but the food is so great - it's worth the wait. They have a full bar which is normally where I sit when I go there. The bartender is nice and gives great service but I learned not to ask for liquor drinks because she is not the best at crafting cocktails. This is still my favorite place but since they have so many great liquor options I wish she would step her drink game up (maybe straw test her drinks like most bartenders do so she knows if they taste good before she serves it). read more

Best Fish and Chips in my Life! Pairing with Guinness is the absolute best. Sliced Potatoes with Gravy were out of this world!

loved the classic pub feel of the place! it's very nicely done and gives a great ambiance. the menu has decent amount of dishes to explore, without feeling overwhelmed. i got the limerick spicy chicken ciabatta with coleman's irish fries and gravy. it was absolutely delicious! the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. it wasn't as spicy as i was expecting, but the flavors worked together so well i wouldn't have changed it. very great experience! read more

My favorite local pub with fish and chips. Good service, great food. Poutine was good. We go once week.

Stopped in on the way to Niagara Falls. City of Watertown was having water main issues. Had to order bottled water not allowed to serve anything that was not canned or bottled. Ordered the steak sandwich and onion soup. The onion soup was delicious. The steak sandwich was not very good. The cheese was melted on the top but the steak was still cold and did not have much of a taste. read more

Food was so bland we barely even ate our food. It literally tasted like not one grain of salt was in our entire meal for a family of three. Even my toddler didn't eat his Mac and cheese. The atmosphere is decent. Servers friendly and the food came out quick ! But the food is very subpar quality. I was there an hour ago and now I'm sick to my stomach. Pretty sure now i have food poisoning. I Don't recommend. Update : now my husband has food poisoning as well. Thankfully our toddler didn't eat any of his food there ! read more

Great ambiance. Good food. Always busy. I love the inside. This restaurant is a must for the area. Check it out.

Delicious food and good service The sashimi is great and the portions and prices are great too. Highly recommend. read more

Coleman's is one of our favorites in watertown but today was a big disappointment. Cob salad was over cooked and dry, avocados were hard and inedible. waitress never came back with beverage refills. When we mentioned the issue to the waitress she didn't care and said she'd talk to the manager. She also never brought ketchup for fries. Surly attitude and no concern about bad food. We asked to see the manager not to complain but to let her know there were issues. She was very polite and did comp our meal Hard to get good help I guess Very disappointed read more

I always thought I hated corned beef but not anymore. I tried the Irish trio and it was delightful. The shepherds pie is a must try. My husband loved the bangers and mash and my children loved their burgers! We tried the pot o gold appetizer and it was off the chain. Everything came out hot and fresh and the service was great. Our waitress, Abi never let our cups get empty and when asked for straws, extra napkins, etc. They came to us super fast. We will be visiting again soon! read more

Took my wife here for lunch today. The service was great, the food and portions were on point with their prices. I will absolutely eat here again. The Irish Pub feel, just adds to the surroundings. I had the club sandwich nd brought half home with me, and my wife brought home here fries and cheese cake. read more

Sat outside in a lovely day, fabulous salad and mussels! Of course Jameson just how I like it!

I love their wings, and their poutine is GREAT. We usually sit outside because we have a toddler and it's less hectic and loud. But 100% if you're wanting a great wing or burger. read more

I recently had the pleasure of coming here with my husband and family before a Watertown Wolves hockey game. It was a Saturday night and was just starting to get busy, but nothing more than a five minute wait around 5 PM to snag a cozy table. It is a very warm and inviting space, love the woodwork, and the countdown to St-Patty's Day. We started out w/ a round of drinks and I loooooove when I can order Prosecco by the glass!!! Hubby says that they had a good beer selection. Ordered the mussels as a starter which were a hit with our table. Lots of garlic, parmesan, in a creamy broth - mussels were plump and very delectable. Served with some fresh bread to soak up the rest of that sauce, and definitely enough to feed a table of four. Our table has the fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, and corned beef. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the portion size was substantial. Love those 'Irish chips,' very addicting. Everyone had leftovers to go home with. Our server was attentive and pleasant as well. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be going back. read more

I'm stuck between good and ok for a review. The atmosphere is good, but don't expect an authentic Irish or British Pub. It was really loud with the bar patrons playing some bingo type game. The food was good. I had fish and chips and enjoyed every bite. My husband had the bangers and mash. While he liked it, it did make him sick later on. Everyone talks about their sandwiches and burgers so I think we may give it one more try with those. read more

Well, I think I may have a new favorite place in Watertown. Timing, apparently, is key ~ I showed up between two different dinner rushes, and had the place essentially to myself for about an hour, and then things got busy again. The decor is heavy on woods, but it fits well. It presents a understated Irish theme, with neither the heavy handed manner of a straight-up bar, nor the family friendly schmaltz of a primarily family-dinner joint. So, it's appropriate for both, but would probably work best as a date-night meal, or pre-party meal with friends. Also good for business dinner with drinks. I had the Irish Nachos, the Sheppard's Pie, and a good sampling of the draft beers. All the food was plentiful and delicious. I stongly reccomend the Sheppard's pie ! The service was friendly, prompt and overall outstanding. I really like this place. read more

Nice place. Ate here with my parents and was treated very well by the staff. They had a great selection of food and their Grilled Portobello was tasty. Whether you live nearby or are just stopping in for a meal, this is an enjoyable experience read more

Excellent food, one of the top restaurants in Watertown. Good service. Classic looking pub. 10/10.

Went out to lunch while visiting with family. Portions are huge. Nice atmosphere, server was great and left with a super full stomach. I just hate I wasn't able to try out any desserts or speciality coffees because I was so full. I had the Bangers on a Bun sandwich, it was nicely priced for the amount of food that I received. read more

The best place we've eaten at so far in Watertown! The first time we had the Irish nachos and shared one of their chicken sandwiches (chipotle ciabatta or something like that) and it was amazing. I think about that portobello mushroom daily. This time we got the calamari, trio, and fish and chips. The Shepard's pie and corned beef were phenomenal. The bangers were really good too, but honestly they couldn't hold a candle to the other two dishes on the trio. The calamari was great, we devoured it in like 3 minutes because it was so good. The fish in chips was also really really good, the fish was perfect and it was served with the best tarter sauce I've ever had. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Great Irish vibe. The homemade sausage is a must try! The only critique I would give is please serve Guinness at the correct temperature in the correct glass please. The service was top not the potatoes were store bought otherwise I'd throw it 5 stars! read more

First impression says alot. We walked in to a warm, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Specials listed on the wall and clearly visible. Gentleman at counter eager and very helpful. Our order was 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, pasta salad, homemade chili, and a buffalo chicken wrap. The grilled cheese orders were a nice surprise. We expected one sandwich but got 2 with the regular order. So daughter and I ate one and took one home for later. The chips that come with order were crispy but not hard which was awesome. The chili was scrumptious. Not too spicy and not too bland. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and said it was massive, he too took half home. We did leave room for a few of their handmade chocolate treats, which are a must try. The menu did have gluten free options as well as other allergen options. So for those that avoid eating out because of food allergens this place should be added to your must try list. You may wonder why only a 4star review, well we just couldn't try everything. What we did try defiantly is a 5 star rating. We will most assuredly be back to try different items. Also this establishment has a Facebook page with hours along with daily specials. read more

Best ever. Great atmosphere. Cold beer. Friendly staff and great service. A tradition every year for our family. Happy St Patrick's Day

So I came into this Irish pub on a Tuesday around 9pm and it was still decent busy, thankfully there was no wait. I was able to sit immediately but I worry there would be a wait if I went there on a Friday at dinner the beers were all fresh none of them tasted stale at all. We got a lot of food in multiple courses. The orders went In, the drinks came out right away, the apps came out soon after then a proper amount of time later the main meal came out. The quality of the food was great nothing tasted frozen at all so that was awesome that nothing came out soggy or wet. The prices are fare. Some items are a bit pricey and some are the price they should be. They do also run specials so that's a great way to get good food for a great price. I am happy overall and I will be going back. read more

A cute restaurant with a small patio for outdoor seating. We were seated right away on a Wednesday night but service was a bit slow. Everyone was very friendly and answered questions we had about sizes of dishes. Three of us got the French Onion soup which was very salty; two of us couldn't finish it. For meals: Shepherds Pie which was hot and tasty but still a bit heavy on the salt. It came with a small garlic biscuit on the side. Chicken tenders which were ok--no taste in my opinion--and came with a side of house dressing (first I have ever seen that), a club sandwich (regular deli meat on it) so large, it ended up being a knife and fork meal and then a Caesar Salad which was good. The meal portions were fine but the food was average. We were just passing through and probably would try a different local restaurant next time. read more
