Without hesitation, she said we should go to the Time Warp Tavern. She told us we had to get the black Betty wings - her favorite. It is a corner bar with character and characters. Friendly good people and great food. Cindy took our order and made some great suggestions. Everything was cooked fresh and delivered piping hot. The wings were outstanding. You could tell they had never been frozen and they were cooked perfectly. The black Betty dry rub seasoning was outstanding. Her other wing flavor suggestions were also very good. The fries tasted just like the cut & cooked to order fries you get at a really good state fair. The house made chips with Cajun sprinkled on them was awesome. Highly recommend going!!!!

I ate 67 in one sitting at the whistle stop! My favorite thing to eat at the whistle stop is the 67 Oz. Fried fish platter and the 6.7 oz serving of pudding. You have to try the owners special 67 sauce which they slather on everything. It is to die for! I could drink the 67 sauce by the gallon. The ambiance is simply amazing. Most of the waitresses are a perfect 6.7 out of 10. Some of them are so beautiful I would walk 6.7 uphill both ways in the freezing cold just to get a serving of 67 sauce. Don't take my word for it. Go here immediately and make sure you have enough money. I can guarantee you will tip higher than 6.7%!!

Everything on my plate was pretty good but just did not go well together. This place is not very busy and the service wasn't that great. My husband asked the waitress to repeat the beer list and she just silently placed the list on the table. When I pointed to the menu and said I'll have this she said "What?" She didn't tell me that my choice of baked potato added 1.50 to the tab and she forgot our ketchup and instead bussed another table. Now, those are all very small offenses and I understand what it's like to work in a restaurant that has slow nights. But I am BIG on customer service so we will not be returning. I'm sure this place is great at lunch.

The food is great -- fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of place you want to like. That said, for the price, the portions feel underwhelming. The smashburger, while tasty, is about the size of a standard McDonald's cheeseburger, and a handful of fries just doesn't cut it at this price point. A bit more generosity on the plate would go a long way in matching the quality of the experience with the value. Still worth a visit -- just don't come too hungry.

I only recall trying poutine when I was younger so I figured I'd give it another try. They have Poutine as a whole order, but I was glad to see that they have it as a side option. The food entries comes with a side of your choice (fries, house salad, sweet potato fries (+$2.99) , caesar salad (+$3.50), or poutine (+$3.50)). The portions of the food were huge, so you definitely get your bang for your buck here. Each dish was neatly placed and was so good! The bread from the club was crunchy yet soft and the chicken was moist. The ingredient felt very fresh! The poutine was a tad salty, but I think that is how poutine is? Since it's gravy and cheese (two salty ingredients). It was just the perfect amount to share with the family since we all just wanted a little bit to refresh our taste buds. My family also ordered the Chipotle Chicken Caesar Wrap with the house salad ($19.99); Fish and Chips ($19.99), and Grilled Chicken Club with the house salad ($19.99). The chipotle chicken caesar wrap was HUGE. My mom said it was very good and that it wasn't too overpowered with all the flavors and sauces. I was able to try a bite of her house salad and was also impressed by the fresh ingredients of the salad. You can tell it is a good salad when the salt actually crunches and does not just wilt there. The Fish and Chips were pretty good according to my brother in law. Crispy, not totally too greasy and a large piece on top. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here in this small town. It had a cosy interior with very nice staff. FYI, the menu is located solely online! Reception could be a little spotty, so they have wifi for you in case you need it! The bar is average, serving many of the popular cocktails and local beers. It has a chill atmosphere inside. There's pool tables and a jukebox so the crowd controls the jams! The bartender was super friendly and talked to everyone without being rude, considering most of my friends and I that went were already on a good level! I will say I was slightly disappointed with our curds. They were small and most were just empty pieces of batter. The people beside us got a beautifully breaded batch and much more. They tasted good, but still disappointed in the lack of curds (the empty ones). The fish was nice and light and not fishy at all. I really enjoyed the coleslaw and my husband likes the fries.
