We had vinyl plank installed along with new carpet. For the installation, the carpet techs were fast. The old carpet was out, floor prepped and the new pad and carpet done in less than a day. (3 bedrooms and a hallway). The finished floor looks great. The LVP took a bit longer but required more prep, leveling and detailed fitting. The tech did a great job and the detail work looks excellent. Overall super happy with the finished product and the cost. I'd use Dallas again for any flooring needs we have. So far, I've used Decor Carpet One in Tukwila for two…read morejobs: (1) tiling my bathroom floor with ceramic tile, and (2) replacing my carpeted stairs and upstairs with hardwood flooring. The first job was straighforward job, and the work was perfect and completed in just two days! The second one ended up being much more challenging than expected, due to the weirdness of my house. The first attempt had some issues: the bullnoses looked very different from the rest of the flooring (not an uncommon issue, I've since discovered), and there were issues with stringer spacing and sizing. I wasn't happy with how it looked. Mike was AMAZING. He had the supplier cherry-pick alternate bullnoses with grain that would make them look more similar to the rest of the hardwood flooring, and had his men replace all but one of them, without charging me for the additional labor. He also had them fix all the stringer and trim issues---which were non-trivial, to say the least. The job ended up being MUCH more labor than either of us had expected, and he never charged me for any of that---only for the extra materials. Mike was very responsive to calls and texts, even while on vacation (!). My bathroom floor and my upstairs hall and stairs look gorgeous. I couldn't be happier with them. Thank you Mike, and thank you, Bill---I know my house was frustrating, and so was I, so I appreciate you dealing with that and doing such a great job. Terrific work!

Our samsung frig flooded our kitchen and basement (don't buy the sears service contract or samsung…read moreboth the worst). These guys did a great job replacing all our damaged carpets for us. We had another company install a few years ago and this was a much better install. The stairs came out much better, they installed our baseboards as well. Highly recommend!

He spent his time helping us find the right hardwood color, brought multiple full-size samples to our house so we could compare everything in our own space, and offered very competitive pricing. His team is also incredibly skilled, they handled some challenging parts of our project, including matching the height of the new hardwood with the existing bathroom tile, and the final result looks seamless. When I sought estimates for this carpet replacement project on Yelp, Hardwood Plus was the first and fastest reply. Erik showed up on time and quickly gathered the information he needed while explaining some of the things that could go wrong, like leveling issues or finding something unexpected beneath the old carpet. He promptly provided a quote, and kept in touch via text message (a huge perk for phone call-averse people like me). When we visited the showroom to pick out the carpet and sheet vinyl pattern, it came as a relief that Erik was not interested in upselling - he'd present options, explain the pros and cons of each, and trusted us to make our own decisions. The first issue occurred on the installation day, when Erik messaged me to say the carpet had not arrived yet. He was apologetic and explained what had happened, but we would still have to wait another week for it to arrive. The second issue occurred after his team removed my old carpet: they found the tiles underneath contained asbestos and needed to be sealed, for an additional cost. This added another day to the sheet vinyl install, but this was a possibility he had mentioned early on. The team also accidentally broke my dryer vent, but Erik agreed to fix it with absolutely no fuss. Finally, there were a few little bubbles in the sheet vinyl I had to push out. But now that it's all done, I am absolutely over the moon with how great my new floor looks, and how delightfully plush the new carpet on the stairs and guest room is! I initially contacted them to look at tile for our project, when David and Enzo arrived I was very pleased to discover they did much more than that. They provided a bid to do almost everything to get our house livable, and while we didn't choose them for every line item, we were happy to hire them to do almost everything. David and his team were nothing short of amazing. In just 6 weeks, they transformed our house from an empty shell with painted drywall into a livable home. Their craftsmanship was outstanding - they replaced the subfloor, walked us through acclimating our hardwood floors, installed both LVP and hardwood throughout, helped organize the design and installation of steel railings, and even frameless glass shower doors. Despite my eagerness to speed up the process, they maintained their high-quality standards. They also installed trim and doors throughout, ensuring everything was complete just in time for us to move in before our rental lease expired.
