The woman in customer service was festively dressed with faux antlers and holiday earrings. With my church elder, who was purchasing power ball tickets, she was clearly perturbed. She was on edge with him and slightly disrespectful. He did not understand the payment arrangement; but she did not have to be so irritated with him. On to the next customer; it was an elderly woman wanting to cash in a winning ticket. The customer service woman chided the poor woman telling her that the ticket wasn't registered and she would be getting no cash payout. I seriously doubt if the customer even understood why she was not getting any satisfaction for her winning ticket. I did not like the way she was being treated. The process was laborious so I went to the express checkout where Tracey got me a book of stamps with no wait. She chuckled and shook her head with chagrin over the customer service woman's behavior. Anyway shame on her; she clearly needs an attitude adjustment especially at this time of year. Kindness goes a long way. Please respect our elders. They are people of value too.

My family has been going to the Walgreens Pharmacy on Port Royal Road in…read more Springfield for years. I cannot say enough good things about this pharmacy and the people who work there. I have been to the other "big" pharmacies, and there is no comparison. The service here is impeccable. I rarely have to wait (which is important to me because my life is hectic and busy). When I walk up to the pharmacy desk, I am always greeted by name (as is each member of my family) before I even get to the desk! When special assistance is needed by me, they help me with a smile on their face. A large pharmacy I went to for years probably STILL doesn't know my name and always made me wait "2 hours." Not the case here. Khoa and Hue are both excellent pharmacists and SO friendly and helpful in every way. The front desk staff at this pharmacy are always friendly and helpful as well. It's so nice to feel welcomed, instead of feeling like a burden (like at other pharmacies). Highly recommend!

Would have been great to know that and be able to head there instead of aimlessly navigating the floorplan for a while. I found that this location was lacking on a lot. Lacking on stock for one. A good amount of the shelves were empty or near empty with product. It is also lacking on space. It is hard to browse when you are constantly having to say excuse me or excuse somebody to get by. If it wasn't for the convenience of the location, I doubt this particular store would be open long as a standalone store. Best thing here, allowing you to go from one floor to the next.

On July 16 the individual assigned to deliver 8 bags of mulch to the top of my driveway instead dumped the bags into the street at the bottom of the driveway. Totally ignored delivery instructions. Predictably, someone made off with the bags before I could deal with it. He did the same a few weeks ago, and the police threatened to slap me with a citation. I had to pay day workers to move the bags, which are heavy and I am 80 years old. This never happens with Amazon or Lowe's. This Walmart store manager should get a talking to from Walmart corporate. Beware: This is Not Amazon Their delivery person ignored instructions to leave a shipment at the top of my driveway. Instead, they dumped everything into the street at the bottom of a flight of 20 steps leading to my front porch. The shipment weighed about 500 pounds. I talked to Walmart's customer service person, who promised to send someone to move the shipment to my driveway within 2 hours. I tiled that person that I am 80 years old and disabled. He promised immediate action. That was a day ago. No action. I just paid day workers $200 to move the stuff. We own a lot of Walmart stock, are members of their elite delivery service, have their credit card and are deep into their culture. We also are stockholders. If we receive this treatment, imagine what may be in store for you. Amazon carries thorough.
