Super fan of Ghirardelli and their outlet. They let me choose my sample. Did you know they have a dark chocolate rice krispy one? Neither did I until I got here. They have plenty of discounted stuff for your GF or your mom or your coworkers or yourself...or whoever is in your life who likes chocolate. One of my favorite stores in this sad mall.

I am a sugar monster and am yet to beat it but I will some day. Just not this day. Ghiradelli looked inviting and I picked up some bags of chocolates from here for the home and as gifts. They had these amazing pictures of cookies in the window and was disappointed to hear that they did not carry them. Boo!

Ghirardelli Chocolates at the Great Mall in Milpitas Check-in on Yelp 15% off

YELP! 15% off Check-In deal or ask one of the checkers for a reusable, 15% off Coupon. If they're busy, ask for a sample. Don't blame the help for not telling you to use the discounts. The employees here have always been kind and attentive to me and to other customers. The fifth star isn't there because their corporate office doesn't allow them to sell the mini-sized Peppermint Bark that I so do love. I wish Ghirardelli would sell a wider variety of mini chocolates, then I would shop there year round!

Although Godiva is better.

5 bars for $10 is a really good deal. Free samples of a Ghirardelli Square is quite awesome. Gentlemen, if your ladies prefer Ghirardelli Chocolates' then they have many Valentine's Day gift boxes because no matter how much a woman says they don't want anything for Valentine's Day - they SO do. This store is nothing compared to the one in San Francisco but for the outlet mall, it's great. The workers there were very upbeat and friendly. I walked around and was enticed w/ their 5 bars deal however, I prefer Godiva so I walked away, wallet un-hurt.

mix and match candies were dropped by restocking and reselling them to display box by the supervisor in store #128 Milpitas.

Acting General Manager from the corporate of Ghirardelli communicated vis call/email they will look into the matter with an apology.

Can you say chocolate madness! This store is packed with an array of chocolates that should satisfy anyone's needs. Is your relationship with your chocolate bittersweet or sweet and smooth? Either relationship can be satisfied at this outlet. The store offers different sized chocolates; single packs, bag of single packs, bars, boxes of chocolates, balls, baking chocolate, to name a few. The service is as sweet as the chocolates sold here; sorry bitter dark chocolate, you are not included in this analogy. If you are not sure about the shade or flavor of chocolates on display, the staff will gladly allow you to sample it. The more you buy the more you save, with sale packages for any sized wallet. My favorite was the nicely packaged chocolate box pyramid, a perfect gift item that is ready to be delivered to that special one. Also get 15% off after checkin on regular priced chocolates. By the way Ghirardelli chocolate was incorporated in 1852, and has the richest heritage of any American chocolate company! It has been made in American for over 160 years!

Ok, I have a confession to make: ...I love chocolate. There I said it! Whew! And now that that's off my chest, I can give them a short and sweet review :) Inside, they have all different kinds of chocolate, including their seasonal peppermint one, and since it's that time of the year, all retail prices are/were 60% off! Plus, upon entry, you get a customary sampler! I got the Milk Chocolate one with some caramel and from a very nice lady.

It was samples of their chocolate hazelnut which was delicious. The quality of the chocolate higher tier and you can taste it. You can also try samples of the other chocolates they have on display which is awesome. I tried their matcha dark and white chocolate fusion and it was so yummy. Perfect blend between the matcha and the chocolate flavors. You also can break the amount of chocolate that you want and it could even be as small as a sample size too. I believe the cost is by how much it weighs and the type of chocolate? I ended up getting the smaller pieces of the matcha chocolate and the hazelnut chocolate. It came out to be $11.47 for both the chocolates and I have attached a pic to show you. They nicely package it. I def recommend trying this place. The workers here are also very nice! Loved my experience! Also was here around 6pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy.

I really appreciated how generous they were with samples, you can explore different flavors before deciding what to buy. I tried the hazelnut chocolate and loved it. They also had a wide variety to choose from, like Dubai chocolate, truffle milk, truffle caramel, and some nicely packaged gift sets with mixed flavors. Everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good. The quality really just... the best, and you can tell it's premium chocolate. You honestly can't go wrong here, whether to buy for yourself or choosing gift (and chocolate makes the best gifts). It's definitely a spot I'd come back to when I want to buy gifts for my family!

They have a cute entrance with a couple outdoor tables and gentle music playing. Inside, I was greeted by one of the owners. When I told her I wasn't sure what I was looking for and wanted to browse, she said she was going to step away so she didn't crowd me. I really, really appreciated that. They have so many delicious offerings. Truffles, salted caramels, fudge, toffee, creams, nuts, fruits, and more. They also have pre-packaged boxes. And a little freezer with Marianne's ice cream! It was hard to decide. I ended up getting several pieces of dark chocolate almond clusters and a pistachio truffle. When I checked out, she gave me a complimentary piece of orange crème chocolate. The owners are so nice. Every time I've been in their shop the've been warm and friendly and helpful. I've eaten a couple of the almond clusters and they are excellent. The dark chocolate is a little bit sweet with no bitterness. Looking forward to trying the pistachio truffle.

A pricey little box, but for this quality, it's to be expected. I sampled Vietnamese coffee and raspberry yuzu. I much preferred the tartness of the raspberry yuzu. The Vietnamese coffee was more on the dense and darker side which I wasn't really feeling. I ended up getting a custom 6-piece box: raspberry yuzu (x2), rose water saffron (x2), and sesame praline (x2). The raspberry yuzu was extra yummy with the chocolate this time. The bitterness and tartness went well together. The sesame praline was interesting. The filling had a more crispy and gritty texture as a result from what appears to be sugar crystals. The sesame was nicely incorporated so that it wasn't overpowering. I really liked it. The rose water saffron was interesting. It definitely had floral and earthy notes. This is among their most popular flavors, but it just wasn't for me unfortunately. It slightly crossed the floral soap threshold for my taste buds. No matter, I know I will be back for the raspberry yuzu and sesame praline someday, and I hope to try other unique flavors they have as well.
