Let me just say - the other service came out TWICE and did nothing but lay bait stations. I asked if they would search for and seal up holes to stop the mice for getting in and out and they told me they didn't find any holes. Ok. After having them come out twice and still not seeing any results, over a period of 5 months - I came across this place. A nice and very knowledgeable man by the name of Kevin came out to inspect my house. He then spent the next hour and a half THOROUGHLY searching and sealing possible entries and exits for critters. He educated me and my husband on what to look out for, and asked questions so he could understand exactly how the mice were traveling in our home. That was in January. It is now the end of April and we haven't seen any mice or evidence of them since! I am finally able to move freely in my house again without worrying about those nasty pests running across my path. I'm glad to have found them!

I went there right after they left the property and found frass on a window sill inside the house. This was not on the report. I asked for them to go back and check the window sill. The rude lady on the phone (the inspector wife) told me that it was most likely fine and didn't need them to go back to check. I insisted and got an appointment for them to go back and check what was missed. Today, my agent told me that they called the seller's agent and they had a nasty attitude. And told the agent to tell me that they went to the property without actually going. This company is not trustworthy. Take your business elsewhere. Ps: They also missed a mud dubber next on the exterior of that window. Edit: gaslighting is the opposite of honesty.

I am happy to report that I now live with neither flying squirrels nor carpenter bees, and the diligence of what they done may have even sealed the house from a stink bug problem I was also dealing with. Let me save you from being scammed by the shadiest exterminator I've ever encountered. This…read morebusiness flat out stole $300 from me and then secretly took off without providing any service. The technician who came to my home taped my front door open with sticky pads as if he was coming right back, then peaced out and blocked my number. The coordinator, Stephanie, blocked my number as well, the second she received payment (then later unblocked it after realizing that iphones display texts in green when someone has blocked you.) Zero pest removal was done. I had to file a fraud report with Thumbtack since that's where I originally hired this company -- they are in the process of banning them from operating there. You see, this does not come down to a "they said, she said" case. I had home cameras operating throughout the entire 10-minute "visit" before the technician took off without a word. Before doing so, he trashed my living room, scratched my walls, and pulled off paint by carelessly throwing sticky pads all over. I thought this would be a simple extermination job. There was nothing daunting or unclean about my home that could have caused the technician to bolt without saying a word. The business has taken zero accountability. Given that theft and property damage have occurred with ample video evidence, I've decided to file a police report and take legal action. Wish I would have read the reviews from others here first, as I can see that property damage is a pattern with these guys. Update: After posting an honest review of my experience with this business on Thumbtack, the business retaliated by publishing a public reply that threatened to sue me over my review and posted my full name, address, and personal phone number. It was immediately taken down by Thumbtack. Thumbtack has sanctioned Wardoff & Son for their unprofessional conduct and issued a full refund after reviewing all of the video footage I provided along with the supporting documentation. Please be aware, if you have a negative experience with this business and take the time to share a straightforward review, they may retaliate by threatening you and posting your address and other personal contact information on their page.

Buyer Beware: THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND TOOK MY MONEY. Do not pay this company upfront. Once they…read morehad my money, all communication stopped. My experience with Wardoff and Sons Pest was beyond unacceptable and, in my opinion, felt outright scam-like. They caught one squirrel, then demanded full payment upfront for a second trap. That second trap was never properly set up, and the service I paid for was never delivered at all. When I contacted them, they promised--three times--that someone would return to fix it. No one showed up. After repeated attempts to get them to either do the work I had already fully paid for or provide a refund, they stopped responding entirely. No resolution. No refund. No explanation. Demanding full payment in advance, failing to perform the service, making repeated promises they never intended to keep, and then cutting off communication is exactly what customers warn each other about. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office, and I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to protect themselves and choose a business that actually stands behind its work.
