But Jack turned that around completely with some fantastic advice over the phone. Instead of pushing for an expensive upgrade, Jack recommended switching our land line provider from AT&T to Spectrum. This simple change would save us over $300 per month without needing to touch any of our existing equipment--and he didn't charge a dime for the consultation! I can say that immediately you feel safe in his presence and it's very clear he cares about ensuring people are safe and FEEL safe in their homes. He is a former cop and it shows. He is someone with the experience and instincts to really understand safety and that was very apparent in our conversations. He's not a salesman - he's a security expert who knows what you need and is honest and direct. He didn't try to upsell me on excessive unnecessary items like other companies. He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. He even noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and missing tiny parts that make a door super easy to kick in.
