All of the staff is amazing, they're all so kind and skilled at what they do. Each person has their own skill set so it might take you a few times to figure out who can help you the best, but you will definitely leave very happy with your nails. Everyone is very willing to help each other, you will often see the nail techs rotating stations on the busy days to help each other out and it shows how much they care about their customers, they're all trying to make sure everyone is getting a good service. They truly do care that the customers are happy, if you're not satisfied with something or if something breaks, you should always speak up or return to get it fixed, they are always willing to fix something to make sure you're happy. They are all human though and sometimes the salon can get busy but they try to take walk ins as much as possible, and even if it's busy, they at least try to get your feet soaking or your hands wrapped and let you know they'll be with you soon. Dana, the owner, is so talented at what she does, her designs are amazing. If you find a picture of something that you want, you can bring it in and show it to your nail tech and they'll do their best to recreate it for you, and if they can't personally do the design, they'll have another tech come and help just to make sure you get the design that you want. Dana and her sister Queen are constantly keeping up with social media to follow all of the latest trends for nail art and always buying new supplies to make sure they can do the newest designs. They can free style designs on your nails, they've got foils and stickers, a ton of different glitter and cat eye options, air brushing techniques and they'll even mix different elements to get you the perfect color. The color selection is INSANE, they have so much to choose from for no chip and dip, you're instantly provided numerous books of color to choose from and then the techs will get the bottles for you so you don't have to search along the walls. Pedicures here are also top notch, they recently got all new chairs for the pedicure area, including themed chairs for kids. The new chairs have so many massage options and a heat option. They've recently added new pedicure packages so that customers can have a spa-like experience for their feet. All of the prices per packages are listed right away so there's no secret charges which is super important. You're presented with a list of all the packages and allowed to choose, and even after choosing your package, you're then given multiple scents to choose from to make sure you're getting the best experience. QT Nails & Spa is very active on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. They're always posting videos to showcase the unique nails that customers are requesting to provide inspiration for others. I recommend QT Nails & Spa to everyone, it's the only place I'll go to even after moving.

I called several hours before the appt to inquire if I could add on an eyebrow wax. I was told "yes, just come in half an hour early". So I did. When I came in, I told them I had an appointment with Tony and I reminded them that had said it was fine to add on a wax. I was told to sit for my mani. Not with Tony btw. I told the man I wanted a silver mirror style dip but did not want to use the nail UV lamp. He told me that was fine but they didn't carry the mirror polish and showed me my options. It came pretty close so that was fine. The UV lamp was used the entire appointment. I just kept quiet. My cuticles were never touched and the polish does not go all the way down to my nail bed. I didn't even realize my cuticles weren't touched until I got home, washed the oil off my hands and really saw my nails. When my mani was done, I was told to go to the wax room where I stood there and waited for almost 15 minutes. It was around this time I was asked, no less then five times, if I had an appointment. Weird. WHY have an appointment portal on your website if you don't look at it? I wasn't asked one time for my name, what my appt was for and for what time. When you walk in, they either know you and what you want or ask and then tell you to sit and wait. The eyebrow wax was fine. Not bad, not great. However I had no privacy. People who were getting pedicures watched me the whole time. In 30 years of getting my eyebrows waxed, I have always had a private room with the door closed. Also, the room was filthy. The whole place is filthy. I do not believe for a minute, that the sterile techniques here are true and accurate, according to legal standards. User beware. The pedicure was fine. Again, NOT with Tony btw. I asked them to explain the highest cost procedure that includes: "Unique feet soak in the detox crystals in a CBD volcano eruption." I never understood the answer. I will not be back. Not only did they not know I had a reservation, I was questioned multiple times about it during my appointment. I did not see who I had made the appointment with. The place is filthy. If I wasn't leaving for my vaca early the next morning, I would left. The whole check out procedure is weird, wanting me to use Zelle. Which was a whole issue itself and ended up not working for me. I will say the place was packed. People coming and going the whole time I was there. They must be good at acrylics, with Tony apparently. I don't do those however.

Breeding ground for infections. The towel my hand was…read moreplaced on was wet. Afterwards, the tech put the towel to the side over another dirty towel. Towels were never placed in a container. You can smell the dust of nail in the air. Nail file and buffers were used before me, there were markings all over. Washable does not mean antibacterial. I didn't see any cleaning chemicals for the tools, maybe they were in the back, but the instruments used on me were tucked back in the drawer where the tech initially grabbed it from. My tech had paint on her fingers, not on the nail but on the skin. Which I just assume would wash off if she washed her hands or used a wipe when it got on her skin. Probably the worst of it all, the tech used a platform for me to rest my wrist on. The tech gave the platform to another tech who fixed it by shaving down one leg of the platform. After they shaved it down, the person gave it back to my tech, there were plastic and rubber shavings all over this platform. My tech didn't care to even wipe the scrapes off, she just put my wrist on the platform and then put lotion on me. So my hand had plastic scraps up to my forearms. I just had the tech stop so I can wash my hands in the one sink they had which was in the bathroom. I just regret not stopping and leaving before it continually got worse. Do not recommend.
