Yumm!!! I've seen this place several times, but didn't go in until I saw the Yelp reviews. This place is the perfect example of how much better fresh food tastes! The lettuce on the sandwich isn't just iceburg, it's a nice leafy mixture... so good! I used the menu on line and called in my order. My order was ready for pick up within minutes of my arrival, so service is great! Definitely customer service oriented. I had the T-day sandwich on wheat bread. So filling because they are generous with the turkey. And the wheat bread was the tasty multi-grain bread with seeds in it. I ordered the macaroni salad because of the reviews. It had an oniony flavor which was good, but next time I would get the carrots for health reasons. I also tried a cup of squash soup. Keep in mind I picked up and took it back to my office about 5 minutes away. Soup was plenty hot!!! Actually had to put it aside for a little bit to cool down. It is a chunky squash soup with what seems to be carrots and peppers or tomates. I enjoyed it. The only problem is that there was so much flavor, I ate too much. I would definitely go there again. My only suggestion would be to allow a combo with 1/2 a sandwich and cup of soup or small salad. read more

We tried this cafe out for the first time today. I saw Butternut Squash soup on the menu and had to try it. I expected the usual smooth puree, but instead it has lovely chunky yummies in it, with undertones of curry, peanut, and coconut. Surprising and delicious. I shared a cranberry walnut salad with my boyfriend; we liked all the fresh greens and tasty vinaigrette. He also had a small Margherita pizza, and said he liked both the flavor and the crust, which appeared to be like a large whole wheat naan. I also give the atmosphere and service 5 stars. The people are very pleasant, and this is the kind of local business you always want to see succeed. I look forward to trying out more of their menu. read more

This place is exceptional. The owner , Patsy, is hospitable and great at what she does. A perfect example of someone who loves what she does. She's created a small menu of great and affordable dishes . I'm Vegan and went there thinking I'm in for a mediocre experience - especially because this place isn't DEDICATED to veganism . Well I was proven wrong. I had the endless egg salad sandwhich. She broke down how she made it. We got raw deserts. A brownie with no sugar and all whole food ingredients. A-OK, that's what Yelp says three stars means. And that's how I feel about this place. Listen, the gal working that day was so nice and very helpful. The only problem was, she was the ONLY one working...at lunch time. While we were there, she called someone to come in to help. But by then, it was too little-too late. Truth be told, this spot can't stack up against anything similar in metro LA, SD, or Orange County, but beggars can't be choosers here in the west end of the desert. Smoothies hit the spot, egg-salad was made-to-order and perfectly balanced texture, eggless egg-salad was even better with deLISH avocado, and pizza was a nice option for the picky kid. I have been coming here for over a year now. Thisbplave is super consistent with superior quality of yummy tasting food. My absolute favorite dish is the taco salad with a scoop of twisted tuna. Eh. I was excited to discover this place as I have been a Veg for over 20 years. All the items on their menu looked amazing- that is until I actually tried them. I ordered the chicken less chicken salad sandwich and a raw Brownie. Both were disgusting! The chicken salad had absolutely no flavor or seasoning to it, felt thrown together with no creativity. The Brownie- oh wow, the brownie tasted ROTTEN! I've had many vegan raw brownies before and that was by far the worst. The frosting had a pungent flavor of old avocado- which I'm guessing they might have used. Oh, how disappointed I am. Not sure I would give them another shot.. Not very many healthy options in the AV so we wanted to try this little restaurant. We got there ordered to go and it took at least 30 minutes for a salad and sandwich which were both amazing! The only problem was they have one person making all the food and one person running around not really doing much to help. Tried it again the next because we liked the food so much even brought a friend with us to try, but we weren't even greeted at the door and waited there for 10 minutes while she was on the phone, looked at the dining and saw no one really had their food so we decided to go across the street for Panera.
