We spoke briefly over the phone and they guaranteed me that they could do it. I am always cautious about new shops or people I don't know especially when it comes to wheels and tires. I drove in, they told me about 2 hours, but they were actually done in about an hour. I was amazed. They charge about 50 to 60% LESS than what Harley wanted and Harley wont put any non OEM part on your bike. They even gave me some maintenance info for my bike. These guys are actual certified Harley Mechanics. Between the two of them they have about 45 years of experience. I would definitely trust them with my bike and I will not take my bike to any Harley dealer without calling them first.

Might be coincidence but shortly after the job, after my rear fender bracket broke off my muffler. Might have been from fatigue but hard to ignore that he had to remove the fender to change the rear tire.

On a whim, I called Trevor at SLT and he was BY FAR the most inexpensive!!! I was at first very skeptical of his shop, so I dropped in to check it out first. I don't like to take many risks, especially with my motorcycle. It's a small local racers shop. Trevor's a good guy with a lot of mechanical knowledge and he's supported by a lot of WMMR riders. I asked him how he could be so inexpensive compared to the other shops around and he broke it down pretty simply: Trevors the receptionist, accountant, mechanic, sales guy, delivery guy, janitor, etc. for his shop. He doesn't have a ton of expenses to cover like advertising, employee salaries, or a huge lease. His shop is small, but he's got all the tools he needs to get your motorcycle tuned up and running right. I dropped off my motorcycle and Trevor had a few projects to complete before he got to my bike. 6 days later (including Sunday and Monday when he's closed), he finished my bike and now it's running like new! He's a down to earth guy, local rider, and small time businessman that's honest. He did a great job on my bike and if I ever need any other service on my bike, I'm going back to see him for sure! On the list was 4 other ones in the state that could have helped me but they all were not easy to deal with. Walt actually emailed me back promptly and set up a time for us to meet. He ask a few questions that gave away is experience right away. You will not be disappointed is his work at all. The only disappointment I have is the fact he might retire some day. I hope he can train an apprentice and the SCS name continues. I will be happy to drive from Bremerton to Seattle to have a real pro work on my ride. He picked up the bike April 1, 2020. The repair was delayed due to a part shipment but was completed on April 20th. I was sick, so paid over the phone via his square up. I had originally done paperwork for this consignment in 2018, but ended up not taking the bike in as there was a delay in Matt picking up for me. So, I felt this was going to be a positive experience. Matt assured me he had lots of interest in Harley's as he had just sold one the prior week and would get mine on his updated website/Facebook soon. My periodic observation did not confirm his words. I was very ill and isolated at home for the next few months and wasn't able to stay on top of this process. To my knowledge, there's been no serious offers on my bike. 2011 XL883L HD with 400 original miles, so I wanted to discuss dropping the price. $5000 asking...no hanging tag on my bike in his shop. Had some aftermarket stuffs want them to install for me, and thought my bike has some shifting problems. Turns out my bike works good and they are honest about it and did not charge me for that part. They also told me they verified it by several persons which sounds pretty reliable. Then they installed all what I want and brought the labor time down which is great. Extra scene: When ride to home after picked up, the shift bar attached to the foot pad loosen off when exiting the highway, was scared but managed to move my bike to the emergency lane at the sixth gear, and installed the tiny bar by myself using hand and kept riding. Would be good to have them check it throughout, but not their misses since I forgot to tight it back when rolled my bike to the shop.

As well as the staff all around is uninformed. Neither the staff in the Service dept. could tell me if they could work on an NIU scooter, nor could the salesman. Beyond that, if you have no clue if you can be of help to a customer, at least show a little empathy. The girl who works at the welcome desk is literally collecting a paycheck for doing nothing but looking at her phone. Zero help. Please disregard the mandatory 1 star rating. This is a zero rating.
