I found Andrew on Google and because of high ratings decided to do fix my bike here. I called him in May of 2024 to schedule appointment and a month later in June of 2024 I took my bike there. I called to check up 2 week later and he STILL haven't even looked at my bike. Only a month later in JULY of 2024 he looked at my bike and told me that it has blown gasket which I told him from the start that's what it was. I was quoted about 700 in parts and labor. On September 9th, he tells me that cylinder is busted and engine needs rebuild, its going to cost more then a new bike, can't find replacement engine and I am stuck in the limbo wondering what to do. Later he finds a new cylinder and says its going to be 400 more and the tab now is $1068 so I agree and he tells me it should be done first thing, its's October 7 now! I am frustrated and upset, the whole summer and fall went by and I told him repeatedly I wanted to ride the bike and then he doesn't contact me again till I call him in April of 2025! So from October to April he is working on other bikes and just ignored my bike. What kind of person does that? So I reach out to him at the end of April and he all of a sudden remembers to divert his attention to fixing my bike and a week later he tells me to pick it up and presents me with $1600 bill, so the bill went from $1068 to 1600 without any updates. He admits he screwed up on the cylinder and had to take it to machine shop to get it opened up, now my compression is low and bike lost top speed which means I can't quickly pass if I need to. The parts charge says $700 but doesn't itemize what cost what, he only quoted that cylinder was $400 is what he texted me. Where did additional $300 came from? He also said he replaced water pump, but why? Well it was just broad troubleshooting he did. I just had it replaced and it was $20 item. But it gets worse. I pay him $1479 after he adjusted the price to drop the diagnostic fee and once I take the bike on freeway on a 15-20 mile ride I come home and coolant is splattered all over the bike. I take the bike out next day thinking there might have been extra coolant overflow and there are clouds of white smoke and bike barely starts after I stop halfway. So I bring the bike back to Andrew on April 30th, 2025. I call him 2 weeks later and he still has not worked on my bike! WTF!@#$%^& I just dropped $1500 and he doesn't care that its already been a year and I am pissed! When I called he's like oh yeah, good thing you reminded me I need to order so an so and now I called 4 times and texted several times and no response, its June 2nd and its been over a year and he wants to drag this on for another summer! I've been very patient but now I am extremely pissed. Oh and here's the thing, Andrew wants to charge you 3.5% fee for a credit card and to avoid that he is asking to Zelle him the money and at the time I though it was good idea but now I realize I can't even do anything about this charge. I presented a carefully prepared list of requested repairs and was quoted $425 for the work I had listed. I waited two weeks for an appointment to get IN to this shop. Three WEEKS later I called and was immediately told "Your battery died," by the "mechanic," Andrew. This despite dropping the bike off (RUNNING) with a full tank of gas, a brand new fully charged battery, and a stator putting out over 14 volts, easily measured on the lighted voltage meter I had installed over the battery compartment, along with a battery tender lead ran out the the right side, clearly visible. I told him he was responsible for the cost of the destroyed brand new battery, because before I dropped the bike off I distinctly remember telling Andrew that there were LOOSE electrical leads, taped over, and that I had removed over 200' of extraneous wiring from this bike. PLUS, this is a FULL dresser, with over 40 farkle lights, and numerous accessories, CB radio, Intercom, etc, etc, etc. Andrew advises me that I should spend four hours to run out and get a new battery. I declined and requested that my bike be ready for pickup TODAY. This is 21 days after dropping it off, running, as described above. Andrew's present a bill and refuses to release my bike until it is paid. $640 is demanded for this ransom. I request an invoice and compare it to my list of requested repairs, almost NONE are completed. After 21 days in his shop, he presents a bill for six hours of labor, and most of my requested repairs are incomplete? Not only that, but my bike was returned to me IN PIECES, as listed below: Newly installed battery compartment and LED lighting torn apart, battery tender left disconnected (!?) battery left disconnected from bike electrical system. Probably an hour or two to put this back together. Motor mounts (!?) disconnected to run a simple clutch line? Engine brace disconnected, clutch line left disconnected and ran OUTSIDE the diff case. Clutch master cylinder left in a plastic bag in the trunk, disassembled. This was intact and functioning on the Cade's left handlebar when I dropped it off. Andrew was supposed to diagnose and bleed, MC had already been rebuilt. Radio recessed mount left disconnected, grounds disconnected. Now, I understand that Andrew threw a little hissy fit when I demanded my REPAIRED bike back after only 21 DAYS in his shop, but you don't get to return a customer's bike IN PIECES, while demanding full price for OPTIONAL repairs that were supposed to have been completed only AFTER my requested repairs were done. (The list I submitted in writing on day one, that he quoted me $425 for). No doubt he will reply that I approved additional repairs verbally, such as the fork seal rebuild. This is true. It is also true that I was quoted 3 hours @ $60, billed for four, plus marked up parts, for fork seal repairs? Over $400? Also true that these were OPTIONAL repairs to be completed AFTER those on my list. Even at full price, ALL of the repairs, INCLUDING the fork seals, could have (and should have) easily been performed in the THREE WEEKS my Cade was at Andrew's Mechanical Services. Total bill should have been about $750, instead I am extorted for $640, and my bike is delivered to me half torn apart. NOT COOL. I even offered Andrew the opportunity to make this right, by performing the repairs that he had failed to do, upon payment of the remaining $110 or so. He refused, and insisted I pick up my torn apart bike immediately. Additionally, I believe this shop is being illegally operated out of a garage in a residential neighborhood, in an R-1 zone. I doubt that his neighbors, the city, or his insurance company are aware of this. He refused to negotiate the bill ONE PENNY, despite returning my bike needing more repairs after he touched it, than before. Yes I have photographic evidence of every claim I make. I had clutch slipping on my BMW K1200R. Andrew called the dealer for me to price out a clutch kit and told me the $800 + they wanted was more than the $100 he was expecting. I ordered a kit from ebay for $118 and Andrew put it on the bike for a very reasonable fee . The bike shifts better than it ever has with no more slipping or difficulty getting it into neutral. I appreciated Andrews common sense approach, his quick communication, the quality of his work and his desire to save me money. I think I saved about a grand on this job compared to what the dealership would have charged me. I'm lucky I found Andrew and will defiantly be back for any repairs I can't handle. I have been taking my vehicles to Andrew for years now. His work is always affordable and done in a very timely manner. I am not very knowledgeable about cars and I really appreciate that Andrew is honest about what needs to be repaired or have maintenence done right away and what will need to be done in the near future. Amazing service and great prices. First I just needed my tires changed on my Yamaha, Andrew did them for cheaper than anywhere else and also did them as soon as I got there so I wouldn't have to wait. I also needed to get and engine code read which I believed was just a simple engine fault from a jump start. Andrew didn't have the part needed to read it at the time but ordered it that day. While waiting I checked around with at least 7 other shops and everyone was trying to charge at least $70 to read the code and wouldn't be able to help me for at least a week. Andrew got the part and read the code, which was fortunately just a simple engine fault, and cleared it for me free of charge. Couldn't be more happy with Andrew and his service, won't be going anywhere else to get work done on my bikes. read more

I rarely post reviews on yelp, usually if the service is terrible or super amazing, and I will definitely say Andrew is AMAZING! I plan on always bringing my bike and my wife's bike here for any service related item for our motorcycles. I have also recommended him to all my riding friends. He is upfront honest and always willing to go that extra mile to make sure you are not only satisfied, but understand what he is doing to your machine. What can I say about Andrew? He is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. My wife met him by accident after another repair shop messed up her CV joints and her axle came off. Fast forward a few years and Andrew has worked on 3 of our motorcycles and 4 of our cars. He operates out of a garage, but is fully insured and legitimately a great mechanic. Some of the repairs he has done: * Full service tune ups on both our Lexus and all of our motorcycles * Font Axle repair on a 99 Civic * Brake system repair on an old Subaru * Wheel bearings on our old Subaru * Oil changes on everything * Rewired part of my Ducati 900ss and installed aftermarket blinkers * Reverted my Ducati back to stock triple and handle bars * Replaced a tire on our Aprilia Shiver (he has a professional tire machine) I am the pickiest person when it comes to who works on my cars, but I will always use Andrew for his honesty and skill. read more

Have had Andrews Mechanical Services fix a few different vehicles. SUV and multiple motorcycles. Have yet to find something he can't work on. His rates are good and can get you in and out pretty quickly. Saved me a ton of money over other dealer services and part vendors. read more
