I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I asked him if there was anything else that he thought needed to be repaired, and he recommend that I change my spark plugs and drive belts. Knowing that I had not changed those in years, I arranged for him to come back the following week to get those done as well. As for prices, Moj is EXTREMELY reasonable and fair. His prices cannot be beat by any other mechanic/garages in town. If you have an older car that just needs repairs, Moj is the guy! Got a complete transmission rebuild with a 1-year warranty. It took a little over 4 weeks to get the truck back. On the test drive with manager Christian, the truck slammed into gear while shifting. He called it a "Bump Shift" and I disagreed with him. He said it was the shift kit he put in it, and he would take it out and put in the factory version. I never asked for a shift kit, so I don't know why they even put one in it. I also had leaking filter, reverse gear slippage and missing Bell Housing dust cover plate. After 3 additional attempts to get it right, my truck is still messed up. Even with a warranty they told me to take it somewhere else, and they would pay for it! What kind of business does that? Terrible attitudes, terrible customer service and a complete lack of respect for their customers. They are more than happy to take your money, but you better watch out if you have a problem. They are also not BBB accredited if that's important to you. I've found 3 other people that have had problems here. How this place has a 4.7 star rating cannot be possible. I did notice a review from a year ago that stated: "It's my dad's shop, he works so hard even on the weekends, he day and night" I guess you can make up your own mind if you think all the reviews are legit. The Manager Christian and Owner Emil should be ashamed of themselves and their complete failure to fix my truck. I feel sorry for anyone that dares to take their vehicle to them. I do want to thank Jamie at the front desk though. She was always nice to me and tried her best to help me. Thanks Jamie, good luck! First it's the clutch and then oh by the way 'we didn't know' but it's your transmission...uh are you NOT a transmission shop? Do you specialize in this area? Okay fine..do it and I'll pay for it. I pick my car up (oh by the way a WEEK after it was promised) and drive it about 3 miles when I realize that my clutch is vibrating to the point where I can't drive it....bring it back and magically it's now the pressure plate. Replace that and I pick up my car and my front end sounds like it's going to fall off...so I GOT SMART and took it to another mechanic where they told me that AAMCO forgot to tighten my sway bar bolts. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff and owner did nothing; no investigation, no CCTV review, no explanation. The inspection was fast and reasonably priced and revealed four fixes for an equally reasonable price, and that they understood my intent was to keep my 2008 Nissan Rogue going for as long as I could. I was able to get an appointment fairly soon after I agreed to the fixes. They also gave me a discount after I posted a review of the initial experience with the inspection. I appreciated the respect, courtesy and lack of mansplaining. I also appreciate that they have a 12 month/12,000 mile guarantee for their fixes.
