Ground school. Practice before you go up.

We had so much fun at Geronimo. The staff is so friendly and the overall process from booking, to checking in and ziplining was smooth, organized, and so fun! The equipment is clean and the ground school allows adults and children to learn and practice ziplining before trying on your own. We had fun with the other activities on the course after zip lining. We played corn hole, Gaga ball, ninja obstacle course and more. Well worth the cost for a day of exhilarating fun. We did the Go Fly and Go Long courses and there was plenty of staff along the paths to help and encourage along the way. We ended with the 555 foot dual zip line which was a blast. Overall we would go back. We enjoyed it more than Texas tree ventures because there is more to do on the ground and more than just the aerial park (obstacle course) type of thing. Here, you get the best of both worlds- zip line AND aerial park.

We had a great time! We went on a Sunday with my Mom and another friend. This was to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday. We did the Go Fly and the Go Long but skipped the aerial obstacle course. The checkin process was good. You cannot take a phone or anything with you in your pockets. Secured or not. If you want your phone, pay about 10.95 (with tax), to rent a pouch. They do offer a go pro rental for 19.99+tax. It will fit onto your helmet. They will then give you the SD card when you check out. Since this was my Mom and her friends first time, I opted for the phone case. Next time I'll get the go pro. It was difficult to record or take pictures and help the next person get on their feet. It looks like they have a snack shop, but it was closed? Nothing on the website indicates anything about food. They do charge for water, so be prepared for that. Unsure if you can bring a cooler with your own or not. But with how hot it is, they should keep water jugs with paper cups throughout the course and not charge people for water. We hung out in the shade on some hammocks until we ready to gear up. Then, we went and started getting ready. Good process getting geared up. Gets you good and comfortable with your harness. Then, your harness and helmet is checked while you go into a room to watch a how to/safety video. After that, you do a little ground school session, then you're off! On. Your. Own. However, staff members are on the ground watching and guiding you if you have questions or concerns. We ran into a few traffic jams because you can only have 3 people on a platform. Some of the platforms are a telephone pole and a little shaky. 3 people is a lot for those. We weren't in a hurry, so didn't have any issues waiting on others. The final race line was the best! These courses do take body strength (balance, leg and arm strength), so if you're out of shape, you may struggle. Overall, the staff was SUPER! Very nice and didn't mind helping or giving instruction. The grounds are nice with plenty of areas to relax. The bathrooms were nice and very clean. A great souvenir shop. We had a great time! 4 stars because they don't provide free water, don't let you take anything with you (including chapstick) and charge you over $10 to rent a phone pouch.

We booked a giant youth conference at Geronimo last weekend with over 200 teenagers and 20+ adult leaders. We had the BEST time! There were so many activities to keep our kids engaged and having fun all day long. The staff at Geronimo were so kind, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful every step of the way. They thought of everything! They made sure our water and snack stations were filled throughout the entire day, they set up canopies for all 12 of our groups to have a "base camp" where they could keep their stuff and/or relax for a bit. They created a detailed rotation schedule so that everyone could participate in everything! They set up 7 fire pits for us in the evening for s'mores and evening group devotionals. The owners, Monica and Charity, were so wonderful, and their large event coordinator, Shawna, was incredibly helpful, quickly responsive, and accessible throughout all the planning and the day itself. The place was clean, well-maintained, and very safe! I highly recommend Geronimo for any large event, or just come with your family!!

A little hidden gem in Spring, TX. Had no idea this place existed until I did a little search for fun activities to do in the area. My friend and I had so much fun and really enjoyed our time here. There are 3 different zip lines and different packages you can do. The staff was also super nice and accommodating. We did the two zip lines (that was plenty for us, as we were very worn out by the time we were done with the second). I see some comments about the bathroom situation - just want to reassure everyone they have bathrooms now - pretty nice ones too. With a zip line pass you also get access to the little grounds games and obstacles - if you just want access to the grounds you'll have to pay a small amount. They don't take pictures of you zip lining but they have a phone holster you can rent! They also sell some snacks and drinks as well - however, I don't believe you can take any drinks up with you. Also, our start time was 11:30am, didn't gear up until 12 and didn't begin the courses until like 12:20pm. So prepare for that extra time needed!

Myself and my 3 grandsons had a blast zip lining at Geronimo Adventure Park we had a flight to catch or we would have definitely spent more time on the ground play as well

Incredible place! Can't believe they are right here in Spring! SO MUCH TO DO! We went night zip lining with headlamps! Amazing! The grounds are immaculate. Their staff is sooo friendly and knowledgeable. There are fairy gardens, hammocks, swings, axe throwing, giant see saws, rock climbing, obstacle courses... SO MUCH TO DO! Perfect for youth groups, a date, family night, girls night out! Can't wait to come back!!!!

    Ropes course

Had an amazing time on a hot day. Enjoyed the cover and shade provided by the trees while we did the ropes course. A nice snow cone to cool down in between zip lines. Ended the day with ax throwing, and a ninja obstacle course!

They are building still the park, so there is a lot of construction, NO bathrooms- 2 portable ones for the construction same ones used to customers. NO running water! With family and children in an outside activity this park need to open when they have bathroom and water- then the experience will be enjoyable. The staff is very friendly, capable and fun and the activity safe - yet pricey for what it is. I am sure that as soon the park is completed the underground activities could be also more enjoyable - then make sense to charge $.

Great staff and great fun! Hidden gem for date or family time. Zip lining, axe throwing and family picnic time. Clean bathrooms. Only thing missing was a bar

I really loved that even adults can join in--sliding, jumping, and just having a good time right along with the kids. Because it was a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the experience even better. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves without feeling overwhelmed. The party itself was great. There were lots of kids, pizza provided by the venue, and a variety of treats like cake pops and other sweets that were made by the birthday girl's mom--everything was nicely done and enjoyable. The pizza was actually good, which is always a plus at kids' parties. The staff was pretty decent--nice and friendly--and the restrooms were clean. My only small complaint is that the restrooms didn't have paper towels, only hand dryers, which I personally don't love. Other than that, everything was good. The boys went home full, happy, and satisfied. All in all, it was a great way to spend a Tuesday night, and I'd definitely recommend Slick City Action Park for a kids' party or just some active family fun.

That was my fault because I thought it was adult night since the times were 830 to 1030 neon night. To my surprise, I walked into the venue to see many children and adults . They do have adult nights, but it wasn't the day that I went. Pro - I really enjoyed riding down on the slides and surprisingly it wasn't a long wait time, despite the large number of people in the venue. A by the end of the night I definitely got my 10K steps. Con - I hate that we had to pay full price for entry despite waiting in line for almost 40 minutes. The second con is enforcing the policy to where their specific socks versus any grip socks. Overall, it was a very great time! They do have other activities available: basketball, dodgeball zip lines. I didn't really participate in those areas except the mini zipline , but it's nice to know that they have other options available for people other than slides.

Our reservation was at 11:30 AM, yet our group didn't get on the course until nearly 2 PM. First, we waited about 45 minutes just to get the kids into their harnesses. Then, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the safety instructions to begin--only for the staff to suddenly realize that none of our kids had gloves. We were never informed that gloves were required when we checked in, and it took another 20 minutes for them to track some down. Once that was resolved, the safety briefing took an additional 20 minutes because of our large group. Then when the kids lined up to start the course, the staff member said their harnesses weren't on correctly so he had to redo them all-mind you, their staff are the ones that put the harnesses on at the beginning. By the time the kids were finally ready to start, they had completely missed lunch and were starving. While they still managed to have fun on the course, the overall experience was incredibly frustrating due to the staff's poor coordination and lack of communication. This place is in desperate need of better management.

In addition to the super fun go kart racing track, there are plenty of arcade games, some of which are VR, laser tag, and even great food! Think of it as a brighter and better maintained Dave and Busters. It can be a bit pricey but worth the cost in my opinion. Parking is ample so no issues there, and it's in the heart of Katy Asia Town so tons of good food options either walking distance or just a short drive away. The staff were pretty knowledgeable and nice too. Go check it out! It's actually a pretty good date option too. I've been on several there and the wife loves it every time.

Lots of arcade game options, almost everything in working order and clean. The kids enjoyed themselves which was the goal. The bad: The mini track was LAME, for a kid that's never driven before it would be adequate, but our 5 year old drives well (he has a kart of his own at home) he easily could have handled the beginner track and kart. The arcade was over priced for a weekday, and there were no attendants to be found for help with game malfunctions or to get prizes. If we ever make it back to Texas we might make a return visit.

My husband and I booked the 2 hour experience. It seems like a lot of time, but once you play, it feels like it's not enough! The rooms truly are best played with 2-4 players. There are some rooms where 2 people is nearly impossible to get a perfect score, and there are some rooms where people would just be standing around if you have more than 4 players. Your team will have a team leader who will wear a specific wristband that opens the rooms and allows you to view your score on a big screen in the hallways. If your team doesn't care about rankings and want to just play for fun, then you can go at your own pace or split up if possible, depending on the size of your team. For example, if you have a total of 6 people playing, you could be one team with 1 team captain. For scoring, it would be best to stick together. Or you can split into two teams and have two team captains. That way, your team could split up into teams of 2 and 4 or 3 and 3 depending on the game/room. If you do care about rankings, then stick with your team and try to solve as many rooms as possible and get the perfect score. The rooms are so different! It's a lot of fun. There is definitely something for every one and many rooms to solve. Within the 2 hours, my husband and I were not able to go through all the rooms. Man, after we were done, we wanted to play more! It was exhilarating because you are trying to get through as many rooms as you can and trying to get the best score. It's like we were on a game show. haha Some rooms are addicting to where you want to just play it over and over again, but if you care about your ranking, just move on! lol The rooms have a time limit, which helps you pace yourself and prevent people from hogging a room the entire time. It gives off a "minute-it to win-it" vibe. Running around and trying to find an available room is also fun in itself. It's like a labyrinth in there. There were some technical issues with some rooms. For example, there was a soccer room where one of the goals would not score at all, so that messed with our points. There was another room involving a subway where I seriously think several answers were not on the posters provided. However, it was still fun! The employees were all super nice! One of the employees even helped us play in one room because it was one of those rooms where it would have been impossible to get a good score with only 2 people. I would say this isn't exactly a "one and done" type place. If you play with different people, it will be a different experience. Certain rooms you can definitely memorize and just plug in the answers. However, there are other rooms that are sports and arcade style, so replaying it would still be fun. Furthermore, you may not finish all the rooms the first time and by the next time you come back, they may have added additional rooms/games. Also, since they track rankings, you could try to get a better score the next time you come. The price is sort of expensive, but I think it's worth it. I mean, it's not something I would do every weekend, but I can definitely see us coming back a few more times for special occasions. They do serve food inside the venue. They have a really cool little glass box outside of each room to put your drinks inside. Also, they have free lockers to put in your purse and other valuables if you wish. There are also several cool photo opportunities. This place is just amazing. You have to just come and experience it yourself!
