Roller rinks are a rare find these days, especially nostalgic ones with that 80's aesthetic carpet to linoleum floor transitions that haven't added the full bar scene and other entertainment factors that allow them to up the price through the roof and to be honest take out the whole family fun atmosphere. The facility is clean and well maintained for being 70 years old as of 2025. Rentals are kept clean and they have both quads and inline options. My kids definitely enjoy not only the skate races but also the sock races. The music is a good mix of old and new. We attended on a Friday during spring break with their Friday Home School Session; skating from 10-4PM (skates included) for $10 bucks. It's a steal even if you are only there a couple hours. They have some food options that are pretty inexpensive compared to today's going rates. Foutain drink is $2 (small) $2.50 (regular). Can't give many details on other food as we just grabbed drinks. Great place it may seem small from the outside, but it's HUGE. The skate floor was clean and their rentals were very clean. The food was good, and They had fountain drinks ranging from small-large. They had very clean tables to eat on, and had a Dipping dots vending machine. read more

Hosted my son's 12th birthday here! This family owned roller rink was so much fun! The owner was very helpful, kind, and I especially love the exciting atmosphere he provided. If you're looking for a time to party this is the place you want to go to on Saturday nights! Granted, if you're coordinated and nimble then you'll have a far better time than some. On weekends the DJ keeps it lit, and the vibe gets you in the groove! Good date night option. read more

I recently visited the Rainbow Roller Rink for my cousin's 6th birthday party! It was a blast, I haven't roller bladed in a long time, but I wasn't as rusty as I thought I would be. Overall the rink was not super fancy, but it doesn't need to be, going with friends and family makes the experience. There were many birthday parties for young children going on at once, so that made the rink a little crowded, but the managing staff did a great job staggering the birthday shenanigans between tables so that we weren't too crowded when it came time to celebrate my cousin. For those of you worried about the elephant in the room, shared skates, let me ease your fears. My blades were clean and disinfected as soon as I returned them, and were in good working condition. Lastly, the management staff was extremely kind and really wanted all guests to have a good time. It's a roller rink, it's a good one and not much extra. It's not super fancy and sleek, but if you came to skate, that's what it's good for. This is a family run business, being operated by three generations! It's always nice to support your local business. The managers are some of the sweetest people I've ever met, and they're very committed to keeping this place family friends- ie no spaghetti straps, booty shorts, midriffs, etc. They also don't allow preteens to act like hooligans, and it's a very safe and friendly location. Prices are cheap, $7 entry, $3 equipment rental and trainer rental. Equipment is in good working condition. At one point I brought back a pair of skates because of frayed laces and they immediately replaced them. This place does have very limited business hours, a Friday night session, three Saturday sessions and a Sunday afternoon session. Another awesome piece of information, this rink hosts the flat track roller derby team, the Conroe Cutthroats. They meet Tuesday's, Thursday's and Sunday's. Love this little hidden gem! read more

I really like Rainbow Roller rink and the people that work there but the kids are absolutely chaotic. The rink gets crowded fairly easily, kids are unsupervised and left to run wild. Friday & Saturday nights it essentially turns into a day care. They also have a police presence there whenever I go? Don't get me wrong, I love the police but the fact that there's always one there is kind of worry-some of what kind of things happen there on a regular basis. read more

Unimpressed with this facility and the staff. We had a combination birthday party for my nieces today (one turned 10 and the other turned 4). We made it clear when booking the party that we had little ones attending and needed to make sure trainers were available and the lady assured my mom that they would have plenty. When we arrived, we got our tables and got the kids skates. After getting everyone situated, we tried to get trainers and they were out! They had about 8 parties booked on the same day and ran out of trainers even though they ensured us when we booked that they had plenty! So, the 4-year-old birthday girl couldn't skate! We were permitted to walk with her on the floor but we were trying to organize the party, food, greet guests, etc. and she should've been able to skate with friends and cousins! In addition to the trainer issue, the staff was rude. The man at the desk lectured my 14-year-old niece and her friend because they were dressed inappropriately...denim shorts and tank tops. There was nothing inappropriate about their clothes at all especially considering its July in Texas and was 101 degrees today! He was rude about their clothes and almost didn't allow them entry which was ridiculous...it's a skating rink not church! He made my niece feel insecure and she was upset the rest of the time we were there. The lady at the front gave me attitude when I complained about the trainers and said everyone has to wait their turn...mind you, the party only lasts 2 hours! The facility itself was clean so that was good but it was extremely hot in there like the a/c needed work so that wasn't pleasant. The party itself is pretty cheesy. You pay $7 per kid and that basically rents you a table, skates, a rink, ice cream for your party kids, & a minuscule coke for each kid. You bring your own cake, decorations, everything. It was fine because it wasn't too expensive but still sort of lame that they don't have better party packages! The little kids had a good time because they got to skate which was fun for them and they enjoyed presents, cake, and friends. But, the poor customer service really upset the adults involved so this place gets 2 stars. read more

We held my sons birthday here and it was fantastic. They were clear with the costs and the rules. The bathrooms were clean and so was the food counter. The food was delivered on time and without flaw. The kids skated, played games with the Emcee and then went home happy and tired. We'll be coming back again and again!! read more

It was okay. Disappointed the sign on door said Mask Required. But people skating, walking around, working at the rink had no mask. Eating area nicely separated from the other part of rink. Overall nicely put together. Sanitzer was too watery. I forgot mine in the car so I had to wait to do my hands. Didn't stay long. Questionable cleaning process on shoes. Came here to celebrate my kids birthday paid $95 to get it and constantly had problems with the older man that runs the place. First my kid won this necklace and it didn't work so I told her to ask for another and the old man told her he could not exchange it because she could be lying then he took the walkers from then that I paid for. Then my 18 yr old daughter was sitting by her boyfriend not even touching and he came over while I'm right by them and tells them to move apart. I told him they were 18 and not even holding hand and they were fine. So I would give less than a star but yelp don't let you read more

The skates need to be replaced. Many are missing brakes or wheels. My husband suffered major knee injuries when he found he didn't have brakes on his inlines and slammed into the wall to stop. We often struggle with getting the worn out skates to latch. The interior and exterior of the building and parking lot are dated and the MANY recorded announcements are extremely long and obnoxious. It can get really crowded during birthday party season. But my child loves going although I'm not a fan. read more

My daughters went to a birthday party here, today. The skating activities and games were lots of fun. The floor area where you skate was perfect, but everything else, from the loaner skates to the restrooms, seemed a bit run-down. Most of the employees were unenthusiastic, and the non-skating games were "kind of lame", according to my daughters. The pizza was edible, when it finally arrived to the birthday table, but not great. The parking area is the worst part. The spot where we parked was half asphalt, half gravel; we almost had to park in the mud. The girls had a lot of fun, and we do plan to return. Now, we know what to expect. read more
