My daughter and her friends and many other kids are having such fun time. There are so many kids that as a parent try to keep your eyes on them at all time.

I gotta say I underestimated this place and not sure why. This place is awesome and we are definitely coming back my kids are already asking to go back the next day. I brought my kids here (daughter 5 and son 3) on Saturday during Fathers Day weekend and we had a blast! I thought it was going to be super crowded but it was just the right amount of people and the place is very expansive (50 acres). Everyone is really nice and in a good mood - this place is just plain fun for kids AND adults. The staff was very nice to us from the jump including Sandy at the front entrance. I'm like "what do I do and where are we?" She explained everything and gave us a map and we were on our way. It's a place where the kids can roam free and let loose all their energy. I thought the property was going to be too big to walk on foot but it's not everything is relatively close to each other just wear some good shoes. There are so many things to do we could have spent all day here but we had to leave for dinner. My son really loved the mining for treasure station and so did I. This station was one of our favorites. My daughter loved riding the horses. The cowboy and cowgirl stationed there were very cool to us and helped my daughter to mount and ride Diamond. They were very nice and deserve recognition same as the tractor hayride guy. The train ride and duck races are fun. One of the staff guys took us on a hay ride to go feed to cows and that was very cool for the kids to experience that. Overall, I'd say this place is top notch. Things that stand out the most are the politeness, friendliness and kindness of the staff, the mining station and the horse riding station. We didnt even get to do the other half of everything including swimming, fishing, maze and paddle boats so we are going back! Thanks Oil Ranch staff my kids and I love this place. see ya soon.

We had a great time! We got lucky on going on not such a hot day. Still in the high 90's but had some cloud cover to help. We took our nephews and brother who were in town and they loved it. Very interactive You have to take the hayride. The best part feeding the cattle.

Checking out this place as a potential party venue.

I took a tour of the Oil Ranch to see if I wanted to have my daughters 12th birthday party here. When I first got pricing for it, I felt it was reasonable for the amount of people the package would include. I live practically around the corner from it so I figured why not. I've heard they a lot of schools so field trips there. I was taken around the prooperty by a very nice lady on a golf cart. For $400-$500 I would hope everything is included but a few things are not. The food options were very basic and in my opinion overpriced for what you get. Upon viewing the ranch I determined that it was a outdated, even for a outdoor activity spot, dirty and torn activity equipment. I feel that there are some renovations that are needed. I don't think there would have been enough value for the kids to spend that kind of money. The host was nice bbt I never reserved the party.

    Hay Ride

I wish there were more places like this one! Big, so much to do, and fun. There were pony rides, hay rides, and I even milked a cow. Water, hats and umbrellas are a must if you are visiting during the summer. The heat was the only downside to this place.

This place is awesome! There's a petting zoo with a few goats, swings that have sandbags? Not sure but it's fun! They also have a small train, hayride, a huge "pillow" kids can bounce on, etc. It's a great place and the staff is super friendly! It's outdoors so you will be sweating with all the walking and running around but it's worth it! I highly recommend!

I took my class to the Oil Ranch for a field trip. They thoroughly enjoyed milking the cow, the pony ride, and bounce houses. They wished the lines weren't so long for the hay ride and train ride. They liked that part of the train ride waiting area had a cover but the hay ride had no cover waiting in the sun. Kids were given cow treats for the hay ride, there were also donkeys. They were selling ice cones for I think a $1. We saw concession stands but didn't look to see what they had

Longhorns and cows that you can feed from the hayride!

However, we were gifted a Groupon so that's how we knew about OUAC. When we went it was a cloudy and rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, which was nice. The place was unique because it had many different stations and activities for your kids to play. It's like a huge Montessori playground. My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. If you want to do something different for your child, then I would recommend this place!

How about this: #1000, I'm the first one to write a review on it, and one of the great rollercoasters in the country. The Boardwalk Bullet opened in 2007 a few feet from Galveston Bay. It's a woodie, and it's a crazy one. I had heard that the Texas Cyclone was relocated here from Astroworld, that DID NOT happen, these are two very different coasters. From a distance, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. The reality is much greater. First, you're waiting in line, and when the train zips under you, the entire structure shakes. Second, there is a place to put your hat, purse, phone, etc.; loose articles are prohibited. If you're nervous about riding, simply step through the train and leave, although you just lost $6 by doing so. If you do sit down, you're in for a thrill. I rode near the back, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between front and back. The Bullet never slows down from the first drop to the finish. There are three big drops, and they're all gnarly. The big feature, indeed is speed: although it barely goes over 50mph, the turns are tight, the drops are sudden, and you have only a split second to prepare for anything. The Bullet packs a lot into a small space, which makes it more intense than 80mph on a 200-foot drop. Its high noise level increases the excitement level. It's like a smaller version of the Ghost Rider in California's Knott's Berry Farm: smaller, shorter, but the same out-of-control feel. Some coasters are yawners. Others have you say "hey, that was pretty good." The Boardwalk Bullet is one of those that you'll want to ride again and again and again.

We didn't do any of the campground parking or RV grounds use as we had a hotel in a nearby town to be able to hang out with each other and have some hotel accommodations so I cannot speak to that experience here. Lockers were super easy to use and rent so don't fret about any valuables you have as they will be safe.
