The floor was a bit dingy and there was visible food debris on it. -I was served water in a glass where the rim had a brown syrup like liquid on the rim. I know basil can be a finicky herb, but putting it on display in his cocktail was off putting. He removed it immediately. -having only one staff member tending to lunch seemed odd. Considering the building is two stories, I believe she was having to leave to potentially go downstairs to retrieve food. There were multiple times no one was upstairs. Turns out, this was a happy accident. The hotel is really lovely. The valet and front desk were friendly, the room was clean, and the whole place is very cute and well done. The location is excellent for shopping and food, which is especially helpful when you're spending the day pretending you're not exhausted from moving a college student. My only complaint is the bar setup. There are plenty of places to sit around the bar, but not actually at the bar. No stools. Which seems like a strange decision for a bar, but apparently someone had a vision. We sat outside instead, and even with the 100+ degree heat, there was a nice breeze and it was actually lovely. A&M's two-night minimum accidentally did us a favor. The George will be our new choice when we're in town.

Katie (one of the owners) is a genius with design and has that rustic chic look down to a T. The ceremony site is lovely overlooking a scenic pond. The main hall is the perfect place to hold dinner and dancing with a picturesque balcony overlooking the main floor. The bridal cottage is ridiculously gorgeous and well designed. It is a fantastic place to get ready with tons of seating for all your ladies and then some and a full size bathroom and closet. The bridal cottage was definitely my favorite bridal cottage I have ever seen. The groom's cottage is spacious with games for the fellas. The outdoor courtyard area has games and is the perfect hangout during cocktail hour or during dancing. It also has a fire pit and a huge wrap around patio. Everything you could want in a venue they have thought of and more. Even though Peach Creek Ranch hosted only a handful of weddings before ours back in February of 2017, it went flawlessly. The Linicks know exactly what they were doing and you can trust your wedding in their capable hands. Our ride was stunning across the fields and trails on the ranch. And they even picked up my dad in the 4-wheeler to feed the cows while we were horse riding so he felt he could be a part of the day (we had purchased feed for the cows ahead). The entire family enjoyed the ride itself, the guides helped us take photos. Next time we would consider staying in the cabins on the ranch. The driveway was dark, but the cabins were well lit and don't lock. We stayed in one of the 4 identical cabins. The accommodations were nice and had a loft upstairs with two twins. It is a steep ladder and great for kids, but not for adults. The decor was western and featured some taxidermy. This scared some of the little kids we knew at the wedding. The bathroom and main bedroom were a decent size and the kitchenette had a mini fridge and coffee machine, along with the living area with a small TV and chairs/small couch. The grounds were beautiful and was a true farm. The pool was great for the kids and the waterfall made it feel fancy. I loved the open greenery and the animals that roamed, along with the ponies and goats that you could get close to. There is a covered pavilion near the pool that was a hang out spot for our crew. The wedding itself was in the grass next to the reception venue, since it was too wet to have it down in the pasture. The reception venue was large and had high ceilings. The food was pretty good and the two outdoor firepit areas right outside became a place for guests to step out as well. Parking is in a grass lot so beware the shoes you where, especially if it has rained recently.
