This was our first time experiencing the supper club with DC and we overall thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Just to break down the review: 5/5: service! Everyone was super helpful and great! We loved all of the servers: very attentive 5/5: flavor of the food! We had the 4 course meal for the supper club. To start we had the scallops which were great but small, the crab succotash was good but needed a little more flavor- it also had some crab shells that my husband found in it... then we had a salad- flavorful but small.. third course of wax the lamb chops and this was the highlight of the entire meal- WOW!!! But still if it had had one more chop, it would have been more of a better portion... 4th course was the Belgian chocolate soufflé- we both enjoyed this course but I don't think it should have been called a soufflé- it honestly was more like a brownie in a mug type dessert- it wasn't a soufflé texture, more brownie texture 3/5: portion size: DC was delicious but kept you wanting more. I think if they want to make sure their customers are fully satisfied, they should provide some table bread and butter- this could keep the cost the same but make sure people weren't wanting to make popcorn whenever they got home. We were slightly less content because of portion size. It also would make the time between arriving and the first course not seem so long if there was homemade table bread. There needs to be some sort of filler as there were very few carbs in the meal overall. 4/5: environment: the set up was really nice! Loved the live music and the decor but the chairs weren't comfortable- hard to have hard cold chairs whenever you are having so many different portions to a meal. They need some cushions or something. Overall, like I said, we had a great time and would definitely return! Visited D'Vine Cuisine for the April 2019 DC Supper Club. The decor is beautiful all the way down to the table settings and fresh flowers. The service is top notch and your glass will never go empty! The oysters were fried perfectly and the grits were made from native blue corn. The salmon was good, but the pickled flavor was a little overpowering. The NY strip loin was flavorful, but I would have preferred it to be a little more rare. The carrot and ginger Shooter was the perfect palate cleanser. The cake was slightly dry, but the Nutella buttercream icing more than made up for it. Overall, the meal was amazing and we enjoy every DC Supper Club meal we are able to make!! read more

None of our friends here in Bryan/College Station had a chance to say goodbye during the quarantine. So we had a spectacular night on the D'Vine Cuisine premises where every aspect of the evening surpassed my expectations. When looking for a catering company for my daughter's wedding, we reached out to several caterers and met with them to discuss the event. I wanted to base my sole decision on price, but when I weighed all the "extras" D'Vine offered; wait staff, knowledge, professionalism and quality of food, it was clear Kantessa and her team at D'Vine were the best choice. Kantessa was professional and easy to talk to. She understood the challenges of having a wedding during Covid and always stayed a step ahead of any "special" issue that may arise in this unprecedented environment which put our mind at ease. Kantessa and Billy were helpful in the planning process and eager to offer advice when needed or asked. They offer a wealth of experience and knowledge in their field which transcends into the planning of such an event in the current environment. The day of the wedding came and Kantessa and her crew showed up on time, if not early, with all of their equipment and all of their staff. They were ready to go and willing to lend a helping hand when needed. You have no idea the peace you feel at such an event when you don't have to worry about one thing as far as catering goes. I knew, without a doubt, anything and everything would be taken care of and handled with class. The food...The food was fantastic, in fact, I am still hearing comments from my family and friends about how wonderful the food was. That they were expecting "banquet" food, but what they received was delicious, fresh and tasted wonderfully. I cannot say enough about their staff; how easy they were to work with, how pleasant they were, that they never made me feel rushed and they always remained professional and friendly in every situation. An added bonus was not having to tell them every little detail of what needed to be done and what our wishes were because she had listened to what we had been saying throughout the planning process, so on the day of the event, she knew and produced exactly what we wanted, even beyond our expectations. Following our daughter's wedding we were told of various instances the caterer handled that we would not have known about otherwise. These" things", that were handled, were above and beyond what we had discussed. I only say, "we were told", because during the reception I never saw a problem, nor was I ever asked to take care of anything and nor did Kantessa or anyone on her team let us know there were any issues, even following the wedding and reception. We would have never known had it not been for some of our guests who noticed and happen to mention it to us in the days to follow. Kantessa and Billy took care of everything with class and I never worried about one thing.. I highly recommend Kantessa and Billy and their team at D'Vine for any event you need a caterer for. This husband and wife team is excellent at making sure you are satisfied with your catering and being able to tailor to your specific tastes and wishes. Kantessa is great at the taking care of business side of things and ensuring that your event goes off without a hitch. And Billy's cooking is outrageously good. His sauces seal the deal on most of his main course items. Just ask for what you want to have cooked and normally they can either do it or figure something out that your guests will enjoy.
