The service from Epicures was amazing for our department Christmas party. The two wonderful staff members (Christina and Jamie) who worked our event showed up early and were quick to unload and have everything set up food wise. When I myself arrived with other items (coolers of soda, napkins, extra utensils) the two women quickly joined in helping me unload my van and the contents. Before the Christmas party started, food was prepped so it was fresh, neatly laid out on the table, and refilled promptly as the night continued. My boss was very appreciative of the attention to detail when it came to cleaning afterwards, and how quickly everything was handled. Not enough praise can be given to Epicures for how well everything was handled. read more

I worked there a week and was absolutely DISGUSTED by the fact the "cook" who's teeth are rotted out like she been on meth, NEVER even washed her hands. she went to the bathroom at least 4 times even threw up, kept touching her face and then touching the salmon and prepping the food I was in shock and didn't want to even participate in the task. it was absolutely disgusting and I hope nobody else uses them due to the staff and how they "train" (none) just a bunch of kids who aren't responsible enough to know about cross contamination and I'm pretty sure they didn't know that, then they probably don't have their food handler's with read more

Their professional wait staff was in fact professional and the food was top tier. The price was perfect compared to the compliments I received from my guests. We used Epicures Catering for our wedding slightly out of town in early November. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, and months of changing the details on our order and asking repetitive questions, Danny and Brooke at Epicures Catering were perfectly helpful, professional, and accommodating for all of our needs! Our event flowed smoothly thanks to their capable hands, and the food was delicious, even after traveling! The service during the reception was prompt and helpful, the lime chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned. I am very bummed I didn't get to try the chicken tortilla casserole but everyone who did try it said it was excellent! All in all, 5/5 stars for Epicures Catering! The food was delicious, they were extremely helpful and patient during the planning process, and the service the day of our event was problem-free! I would recommend Epicures to anyone looking for a catering company in town that will work with you to make the details of your event stand out, and to keep it affordable and stress-free! Thank you, Danny and Brooke :) read more

I had Epicures cater a presentation I made to a group of sixty and the meal and service was fabulous. Not only did they set up a waiting room to look like a restaurant, but the staff was professional, and courteous of serving around the speakers presentation. If you are looking for a meal to impress, try the pecan chicken! We ordered it with a twice baked potato and fresh green beans that were the most crisp I've ever tasted. The key lime pie was amazing, and the event was a huge success. I definitely would hire them again! read more

Worst Cater in town. Considering how many there are you would think they would step up their game. Food was not prepared and needed to be heated in a microwave, they tried to serve food on Styrofoam black plates (their standard per the delivery person), I ordered Chicken Kabobs and they forgot to add any veggies to them, I received a dozen less of everything I ordered, they didn't bring serving utensils, and I didn't get any crackers for my crackers and cheese. The manager said the would reimburse me for the food not received but nothing else and said it was okay if I didn't use them again. I won't be. read more

Seemed as though there was nobody running the show who knew what they were doing. There was no fruit at the bar (limes, lemons, etc.), no cocktail napkins with cocktail hour, the brisket was tasteless with NO BBQ SAUCE (the worse offense), and they dumped fruit and cheese in a pile ON THE TABLE instead of on trays after the meal. I was not impressed. They ran out of water and ice. Overall, I would not recommend them. The bartender himself was awesome, though. read more

In our contract, it said that we would have garden salad and Caesar salad to go with our pasta stations. The Caesar salad was a no show. We were supposed to have 2 pasta stations set up for our 130 guests. There was only one station and it took an embarrassingly long time for everyone to be served. We had different flavors of cake for each layer. I reminded them again just before the cake was cut that they should cut some from each layer so that all of the flavors were out to choose from. They basically only cut the top two layers. One of our guests asked for a slice of the flavor on the bottom layer. The server rolled his eyes and said "Really?" He did eventually cut it though. The portion sizes were skimpy. I was told when we signed the contract that all the food brought to the reception had been purchased by me and that all of the leftovers would be left for me. There was food left, but they took it with them. I have two other weddings to plan and Epicures will not even be considered. read more

I had Epicures cater my wedding a few months ago and I would not recommend it to anyone. No one knew what they were doing, important items were forgotten on the big day, and I was shuffled around to different people during the planning process. Such a disappointment. Keep looking! read more

We used Epicures Catering for our wedding catering in May 2017. Everyone loved the food! Since our reception was at 3:30 pm, we served a variety of finger foods and appetizers. We had a tasting before making our selections, and they gave us complimentary cheesecakes and the fee was $100, but it was applied to our final bill. We decided to serve pork medallions with peach jam, teriyaki chicken and pineapple skewers, shrimp cocktail, loaded baked potato bites, and cream cheese stuffed cherry tomatoes. We also ordered a fruit platter, veggie platter, and cheese and cracker platter. The prices ended up being better than other caterers we considered. I would recommend Epicures to anyone catering an event in Brazos Valley! read more

I am from out of town and found Epicures on yelp. I made calls to different caterers but only Epicures met my needs. I worked with Sara and Allie and they worked with me till I got my menu set to my dietary needs. Feeding a swim team is not easy since they do eat a lot and have a time schedule that they need to follow. Epicures was there on time and set up and ready for my swimmers to eat, the food tasted great we had a challenge on the first day but they were able to fix it on the spot thank you Allie. My Team travels to Texas often and now I have found a caterer for my team needs and will definitely be calling on them for my catering when we come back to College Station. I have spoken to several teams about Epicures and Highly RECOMMENDED them for their service and going beyond the customers needs and expectations. read more

Epicures is run as any small town catering company would. The owner puts a lot of time and effort into his meals as well as appearance of the food. The owner is very passionate about his job and has been doing it for a while now. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food taste amazing and overall I really enjoyed my experience with this company. read more

Be careful using this caterer. They did a terrible job on our wedding, What caterer brings no cream for the coffee? Use at your own risk. read more

Our experience with Epicures was very good. They recently catered my daughter's wedding and the food was fresh and tasted great. We had the lasagna, salad and vegetables. The staff was very professional, courteous and attentive. Actually, along with the venue staff they made the reception a success. Several things went wrong with other minor details of the wedding, but thankfully Epicures was one of the things that went right. read more

So disappointing! We had Epicures cater a company function for us and I was appalled when I recognized some of the desserts they brought from Sams Clubs! The mini cheesecakes were the exact same ones we purchase from Sams. I can only imagine the rest of the food was frozen and of the same quality. We had heard good things about this company but were so disappointed that we paid for something we could have done ourselves. Food was mediocre at best and the buffet itself and design was very 80's. Maybe they'd be good for BBQ and casual fair but I wouldn't suggest them if you have an important function or clients. read more
