The staff was professional, wait time was no more than 5 to 7 mins at least that's how it felt to me. Saw the doctor, we went over the reasons for my appointment, she paid attention, and listened well. I asked if she could test me for new eyeglasses and she did say Yes but only after she evaluated the issues I had with my eyes. With a green light and in less than 10 minutes I was choosing my new frames and sun glasses but not before I met her furry child, dogs make my day. This was on a Friday and by Monday morning I picked up my first pair of three and by Wednesday the rest of my eyeglasses were ready. That was impressive. I honestly thought I would have to wait 15 to 20 days for my new eyeglasses and on top of that deal with issues such as lenses falling out of their frames and I say this because my husband had to wait 20 days and his lens was loose from its frame which lead him to take them back to the optometrist and wait 7 more days for repair. I had never seen such incompetence in the USA but quality and service his no longer of interest just money. However as a client you have the power to choose your service provider not the other way around. I don't settle for less than what I want and need and this place said Yes to my expectations. I am very satisfied.

Bring a fan or chairs to set up outside if you're not watching in your car. Recommend to buy your tickets a head of time: the attendant can help purchase tickets but the way also check for your headlights to turn off during the movie. Tickets don't open until the day or so before movie. Audio comes on a FM radio channel- car battery needs to be on or bring a radio. We arrived @ 7:30 for a 9:00 PM movie, there was already a line for prime spots but it's worth getting there with about 1.5 hours to give to allow for checkin, finding a decent spot, and getting set up/going to the bathroom (porta potties were quite clean). They have a small concessions stand and one food truck when I went. Ground was wet so had to deal with a not so great parking or walking to the porta potty situation. Very barebones place but you get the experience you prepare for!

We showed up right at 7:30 to make sure we got a good spot, but honestly it didn't get full until closer to 8/8:30. Unfortunately there weren't any food trucks, but the concession stand had plenty of snacks. The movie was great, with not too many interruptions & I like that there were a lot of families there! Now considering there were families there I was kind of bummed when it all of a sudden started to smell real loud . People hotboxing their cars, couples smoking outside, but the best part was the EMPLOYEES smoking a blunt in the back. By the back I mean near the port-a-potties that are located in the back of the small parking lot. These weren't kids in high school that were tryna be cool, these were grown adults. Do what you want. Do it at home. But don't be bringing it around little KIDS & especially when it's your place of employment.

Found this place highly recommended and I saw people racing about Trey constantly. I have really dry, coarse, wavy hair and really wanted to find someone who could not only cut hair well, but also give me advice on how to care for it so it doesn't look like a hay bail on my head after a few weeks. Needless to say, Trey didn't disappoint :) He not only provided a great haircut, but took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my hair, what to do / what not to do, and educated me on what to look for in products so that my hair could be properly hydrated. For the first time in my life my hair is actually soft and I couldn't be happier! He also gave me his card so I could message him in case I had any questions. Definitely went above and beyond, took his time and really cared. Thanks again Trey! I know where I'll be going next time I'm in H town

This was my 1st visit and maybe should have been alerted to this extra service charge. This bordered on deceptive.

Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer trio with sausage balls, cheese curds, and fried pickles, but his FAVORITE was the double cut chop!! It was juicy and tasted more like a ham than a dry chop! The elote was a hit and he ate so much he made himself sick. I liked the appetizer as well, but was really happy with my wedge salad and mushroom soup!! I also had a slice of beer bread with honey butter, and it was good but not as notable as the rest! Great "saloon" feel in an old building that has been open for 100 years as a brothel, restaurant, hotel, and saloon! Big screen TVs in the bar for the sports fans! Go Astros!

Everything else has been either redone or remodeled to death. Nothing feels or looks old, the bar area looks downright 2000's hipster industrial. The bathroom was genuinely cool though. As a history teacher I'm giving the decor a D. Once again, the wife and I had some errands to run in the Conroe area. I decided on Wunsche Bros, a place I've always wanted to try. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. We ordered beer bread for an appetizer, a Caesar Salad, and the Chicken Fried Steak with Mac and Cheese for the entree. The beer bread was okay. It was dense and had a good flavor but I've had better. Beer Bread gets a C. The salad had identity issues. The lettuce was a little limp. The dressing, and parmesan cheese slices were top notch though and that kept it from getting a failing grade. Caesar Salad gets a B-. The Chicken Fried Steak was good. The breading was crisp around the edges, and held up against the gravy. The steak was firm but not chewy.. The mashed potatoes were velvety and creamy. I liked the chunks of skin. They felt like they were marinated in butter. The Mac and cheese was a let down. They tasted like elevated Kraft macaroni and cheese from the box covered in seasoned breadcrumbs. My wife said everything was too salty for her and after contemplating I had to agree. Chicken Fried Steak: C+ Mashed Potatoes: C- Mac and Cheese: F Service gets an A. The wait staff was very attentive and worked quickly when my wife spilled her water. Overall it finishes with a C minus. I liked Old Town Spring and plan to go back but I won't go back to Wunsche Bros. There's other places to try and this place didn't make the cut for traditional "must do" places. I had high hopes though. *extra credit- crispy mashed potato bite: good combination of the mashed potatoes and crispy fried breading. It gets a C minus. Beer Bread Steak Sandwich: beer bread is too dense, not recommended! It gets a D minus.
