My husband and I booked the 2 hour experience. It seems like a lot of time, but once you play, it feels like it's not enough! The rooms truly are best played with 2-4 players. There are some rooms where 2 people is nearly impossible to get a perfect score, and there are some rooms where people would just be standing around if you have more than 4 players. Your team will have a team leader who will wear a specific wristband that opens the rooms and allows you to view your score on a big screen in the hallways. If your team doesn't care about rankings and want to just play for fun, then you can go at your own pace or split up if possible, depending on the size of your team. For example, if you have a total of 6 people playing, you could be one team with 1 team captain. For scoring, it would be best to stick together. Or you can split into two teams and have two team captains. That way, your team could split up into teams of 2 and 4 or 3 and 3 depending on the game/room. If you do care about rankings, then stick with your team and try to solve as many rooms as possible and get the perfect score. The rooms are so different! It's a lot of fun. There is definitely something for every one and many rooms to solve. Within the 2 hours, my husband and I were not able to go through all the rooms. Man, after we were done, we wanted to play more! It was exhilarating because you are trying to get through as many rooms as you can and trying to get the best score. It's like we were on a game show. haha Some rooms are addicting to where you want to just play it over and over again, but if you care about your ranking, just move on! lol The rooms have a time limit, which helps you pace yourself and prevent people from hogging a room the entire time. It gives off a "minute-it to win-it" vibe. Running around and trying to find an available room is also fun in itself. It's like a labyrinth in there. There were some technical issues with some rooms. For example, there was a soccer room where one of the goals would not score at all, so that messed with our points. There was another room involving a subway where I seriously think several answers were not on the posters provided. However, it was still fun! The employees were all super nice! One of the employees even helped us play in one room because it was one of those rooms where it would have been impossible to get a good score with only 2 people. I would say this isn't exactly a "one and done" type place. If you play with different people, it will be a different experience. Certain rooms you can definitely memorize and just plug in the answers. However, there are other rooms that are sports and arcade style, so replaying it would still be fun. Furthermore, you may not finish all the rooms the first time and by the next time you come back, they may have added additional rooms/games. Also, since they track rankings, you could try to get a better score the next time you come. The price is sort of expensive, but I think it's worth it. I mean, it's not something I would do every weekend, but I can definitely see us coming back a few more times for special occasions. They do serve food inside the venue. They have a really cool little glass box outside of each room to put your drinks inside. Also, they have free lockers to put in your purse and other valuables if you wish. There are also several cool photo opportunities. This place is just amazing. You have to just come and experience it yourself! If you are familiar with the name, then yes, this is a test pilot of things to come for future models like this and counterpart to the one located in the Cypress area. Syd told me that this is just a testing mule to see if this concept works for future Sword and Superheroes locations. To put into perspective to where this is, reset your odometer and give it 5 miles from Deerbrook Mall, 10 miles from Beltway 8/ 59 North and a million miles from a care in the world once you've immersed yourself in here. Once you land on North Park Drive you should drive down about two miles heading East until you see a Napa Auto Parts, it's directly across the street from that. Parking is tiny, there are about 6 spaces in the front, but additional spaces on the left side. Once inside you will probably run into Syd who is running the business and will go great measures to make sure you are accommodated and your questions answered. Do you like Pinball? There are three machines right in the lobby as you enter and one video pinball with 150 games programmed into it, to the left there you will see about 8 cabinets of multi arcade games which should satisfy all of your childhood memories and keep you busy while not worrying about any quarters to lose. What is the price you ask? As of today the price is $4 per half an hour of all you can plan (Arcade and Pinball), $6 per hour and the best value if you plan to stay awhile $15 from open to cerrado. As you walk to the back of the business to the left you'll see a room full of cards, game figurines and such aka hobby games. To the right is a kitchen looking area with lots of board games, tables to eat on, a freezer with Ice Cream sundries and other snacks. A little door on the right is the mini restroom. Back out into the hallway and continue towards the back and further to the left is the LAN area, do you even LAN Bro? It's obvious what it is when you pass and see about 10 monitors with miles of wires connecting each other. Back on out of there and open the last door to the back and you've entered the Laser Tag arena with four tables to the sides for tabletop RPG games. This is where the fun begins if you have two or more people with you, yes I said two minimum, not four like other places. If you are on a date you can test his/her physical abilities a little with a little friendly game of duck and shoot. Have fun kids, this is for you! Prices advertised are.... ============== $8 for 1 game (approx 5 to 10 minutes) $15 for 3 games (approx 30 minutes) $20 for 6 games (approx 60 minutes) Per person. The park is not huge and quite compact with grassy lawn areas, walkways and plenty of benches to sit upon. There are events and festivals in most of the months of the year as well as a weekly Farmer's Market every Thursday with vendors selling local produce, fresh farm raised meats as well as baked goods and ethnic type meals such as one vendor who has some really tasty Indian dishes. I was there this weekend for the Fall Arts & Crafts Festival which had vendors of all sorts selling everything from beautiful pottery, custom made wood items, hand made knives and quite a few booths with food items. There is a stage and at most festivals there will be some kind of live music. For this festival the musician was very good and played acoustic guitar and sang song that were nice to hear but not too loud so you couldn't talk to your neighbor. What with fall weather now here you should make a point of going to this lovely park. Town Center is right next to the park and has many shops and restaurants to visit. It did take about 10-15 min to check in because the staff was prioritizing party check in. I think more staffing is needed at the front during peak times like this. The space theme looked pretty amazing. I liked how there were various play obstacles and height designated areas. The party rooms were scattered throughout the play area. I felt safe letting my daughter go on her own and she truly enjoyed the zip line the most. There was a two level rope harness obstacle course which she tried for the first time and the employee was helpful in strapping her in and assisted when she would get stuck in the corner. I did see an older kid dangling for a long time on the upper level without anyone noticing but she was able to help herself. I would definitely recommend younger children to stay on the lower level. We also played a little in the arcade section. We ordered chicken wings, tenders, and fries. I really enjoyed the wings & the kids actually finished their tenders. The fries were decent.
