The original plan was that I would get the estimate there and have the work done at a different shop that was recommended to me by my dealership. However, after having a very positive experience in the initial contact with American Way, and after checking their reviews, I decided to continue with them rather than going to the other shop. American Way kept in touch with me throughout the process, they were fast and efficient, the were friendly and treated me as I want to be treated, and the quality of the work was excellent. I reversed my bmw into the top of our garage door and was feeling stupid for doing it. The owner was really kind and reassured me it happens a lot.(true or not I do appreciate him making me feel better!). The pricing was really fair. They ordered the necessary part and scheduled the work promptly. They had us in and out same day and the car looks like new again. They even detailed our car before we picked it up! He is unwilling to admit or accept responsibility for my vehicle now being two tone. When the sun is out my car appears to be goldish on the driver's side and is a silver metallic on the rest of the vehicle. He first stated that he removed my fender and sent it to a paint specialist to be matched. Later he stated that there were 8 options for my paint code for which, in my opinion, he clearly chose the wrong one. In addition to the run down the driver's door and lack clear coat on the fender jam he billed my insurance for things including the blending of the hood. You can clearly see from the pictures that no blending was done. I am attaching pictures of some of his work. The final picture is from the prior year when the passenger side was painted in Long Beach, WA and they matched the color perfectly. Jay was a pleasant man to work with until there was a problem. He failed to repair part of the damage and told me it was not from the accident but from me removing fender flares. However I still have the original receipt from the purchase of this vehicle from the factory and at no time has it ever had fender flares. Even his own invoice states this. At this point it is going to cost me thousands to fix his mistake. This has been extremely disappointing to say the very least.

Matt was friendly and the estimate was affordable, so we went ahead and had the work done. It was completed in the time frame we were initially given (I think two days) for the price we were quoted, and the work was good. Since I liked the results on the car, I asked Matt about my SUV. The windshield was not cracked, but the gasket had loosened considerably and the glass was not firmly seated in place. Once more, the replacement was for a decent price and took only one day this time. If you have any issue with the glass in your vehicle, I strongly recommend taking it to Novus and letting them take a look. If my experience is any indication, you will get an honest, accurate estimate and quality work.

The workmanship was great but the customer service was somewhat less. While it's a fact that they do this all the time, I almost never need auto glass work yet they seemed to expect me to have expert level knowledge of my car's glass and my auto insurance policy. The scheduler Teri was fairly terse in her interactions with me. I felt validated in my assessment when I overheard her on the phone with another customer (it's a very small office). Definitely use this place for your auto glass needs but check your expectations at the door.
