I showed up for my appointment but I needed to finish pumping. I only needed 15 more minutes but that was too much of an inconvenience for them and I couldn't finish in my car so I had to finish pumping in public (in their lobby) with men in there and male workers walking in and out. If I didn't walk in the doors by 15min from my scheduled appointment I would have to reschedule my appointment. Needless to say I felt very uncomfortable. Now I do understand I had an appointment at a certain time but I also can't control when I have to pump. They could have given me a private place but they didn't. They didn't even have a restroom. I also didn't care if my car had to wait either since I knew I was going to be 15 minutes late. To top it off they didn't even vacuum all of the glass out of my car!! read more

There is no good time when you need an auto glass replacement. However, Safelite made an unhappy situation a quick happy situation with their speed of service. The window I needed replaced was a special peice because, being a newer vehicle, the radio antenna is built into the window. Thankfully, they have a large selection in stock, so barely 12 hours after the initial breaking of my window glass, the repair is already done and good as new. I need my vehicle for work so speedy turnaround was paramount, and Safelite did not disappoint. I would use Safelite every time and recommend you do the same. As a final note, Safelite has preferred discounts with many insurance carriers, plus most insurance with waive the deductible fee if you ae having rock chips filled. My car was damaged from some rocks on the freeway and it was really difficult for me to find time to get it replaced. Getting an appointment the next day took me less than five minutes using the app, and the technician. Treay, did a fantastic job ensuring that everything went quickly and smoothly. At one point during the installation he noticed that the new glass had a couple of scratches on it, so he went back and got a brand new windshield to make sure that it was flawless. The windshield on my new Nautilus was cracked and needed to be replaced. The glass was not in stock so I had to wait a week for a replacement to be shipped from the East coast. When it did arrive the tech serviced it quickly and recalibrated it well. I am very happy with their work, their facility is clean and all the people there were pleasant and helpful. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is that it we had to follow up on the progress of the windshield delivery from the East coast, we called back twice to ask when it would arrive, once the service dept said they would call us back with an update and didn't. Other than that we are very happy and would recommend and use these guys again. read more

Do not use this branch if you are set on SL go to CDA or Spokane instead. Drove in to have my windshield replaced before a vacation, the windshield that they got in was either shipped damaged or was damaged after arrival so they were unable to do the repair that day. I was promised by the tech that he would have a new one shipped on overnight & then he would come to me to replace it for my inconvenience before my trip in 2 days. Second day comes around and I contact the shop to ask the status. My glass had come in as expected, I was not given a call to set up an appointment. Was told that the tech was not even working today so it wasn't even possible for him to do what he had promised. Then I was told they had no one else to do the work, and I would need to drive all the way back to them to do it before my trip. No time for that now and noooo thanks! I will go with someone else! I drove 400 miles on a Friday night to come and visit my family in Spokane, but I parked on the street and someone broke in within a few hours of my parking. I had to leave Sunday morning, and my insurance was saying that it would cost over $600 to fix it. I called up safelite and they said they hadn't any openings until Tuesday. I explained to them that I needed it by Sunday, and they were able to fit me in the day it happened! Even better, when I got there, they found a chip on the windshield and gave me a discount to do both the windshield and the window. It turned out to be hundreds less than my insurance wanted! They cleaned every window inside and out, and totally went above and beyond my expectations. 5/5 read more

Got a small rock chip in my windshield on my way home from work. I knew my Insurance paid for two glass repairs a year at no cost to me, they recommended SafeLite as their "preferred" shop so I set up an appointment for them to come to my work the next day. When the gal got there, she said "we may have to reschedule because it's been sitting in the sun, But turn on your air for 15 minutes and we'll see if it cools down" so I did. After a few minutes she said "I think it'll be ok, but just so you know it might crack out due to the heat". I told her that I wasn't comfortable with that, as I didn't want to end up having to replace a windshield for this and we should reschedule for a time when they could come to my home and it will be in the garage and no heat. She assured me that she thought it would be fine. I should have insisted on a reschedule, that's on me, but she seemed confident all would be ok. She started the repair and sure enough it cracked all the way to the edge of the windshield. She then says "well, now it will have to be replaced, want me to see how much it'll be". She called in and told me it'd be $402. Ummm, no. Once you screw up and give shitty service, I'm not going to keep handing you more money. I will never use SafeLite again and I will tell everyone I know not to either. read more

You pay $250 for them to replace a window that got busted and not only do they put dirty glass in but they also screwed up my door to where now it doesn't lock. I called to let them know and asked for them to fix it for me and they told me I have to wait till Thursday I got my window "fixed" the 30th. I have to wait a whole week for my car to lock. read more

We have a 2011 Ram 3500 that incurred a tiny little "rock chip" headed Eastbound on I90 from Spokane to Haugan MT on a Friday night. Cold, snowing...within 50 miles, that little chip turned into a monster crack that "spiderwebbed" up the sides. Shot a text to our insurance agent Monday, he told us to contact Safelite. Within 20 minutes, I had a response....for replacement..at my work...for the next day. Our technician replaced the windshield in our 6" lifted Ram ...in the parking lot of my work ....in crispy weather...and he was a ROCKSTAR! Super professional, super nice and a fabulous job! I haven't been able to get the "Safelite Repair, Safelite Replace" jingle out of my head for years. So I called these guys. I'm writing this review from the waiting room of the Spokane Valley shop. It's incredible -- snacks, stocked fridge, and coffee's coming up shortly. There's a large window into the warehouse where I'm currently watching the guys work on my car. Behind the front desk is a brick of call center cubicles, I'm everyone's first appointment of the day, and here's the thing: Everyone is dressed well, everyone is smiling, everyone's having a great time. Everyone I talked to on the phone has been supremely friendly -- some lady named Kim called to confirm my appointment last night and made it sound like I'd won the lottery. I thought that I'd drive out to this industrial park and meet someone surly but competent, bum their wifi for an hour or so and then take off. Instead...I kinda like it here. The company culture's awesome. And my car's in very good hands. Also they quoted the price to me every time I talked to someone, so I won't be surprised at the end. I don't really want to replace my windshield again, but when it happens, I know where I'm going. read more

I took Porsche Macan in for window replacement and when I came to pick it up I noticed the airbag light was on. When I brought it to their attention they proceeded to tear everything back apart while I waited for another hour. They came back and said they could not get it to go off and for me to take it to the dealer and if it was caused by them they would pay for it. This time when I got back in my care I noticed a LOUD rattle in the door (door glass was replaced as well as windshield) I left very upset and proceeded to schedule an appointment with the Porsche dealer who was a week out. After wasting an afternoon of my life out at the dealer they found the sensor in the upper console by the windshield had not been plugged back in, they also found hardware not properly reattached in the door causing the door rattle, they also pointed out it appeared they had damaged a clip on the puddle light and a piece of door trim and attempted to reattach with double sided tape of some sort that was not holding properly. I have now spent 20+ minutes on the Safelite phone tree trying to get in touch with someone at the store as to how to at very least get reimbursed but feel I should be compensated in some way for all the time & energy this has cost me from something that should not happen from the insurance preferred provider. Next time I will insist the dealer do ANY work in the future. read more

The installer showed up when he told me he would and gave me 40 minutes notice. He did an amazing job! Very impressed with the customer service and ease of using them. NOT like their commercials. WAIT TIMES ARE RIDICULOUS. And they can't cry "BUT, COVID-19 ! "... I called other places before I found out that Safelite is the company my insurance company uses. The other places offered me same day appts., next morning at worse. Wait times at Safelite, just to get an appointment were WAY too long. Clearly, they're trying to save money by not hiring enough employees for the amount of work they have. The arrival "window" is massive. Plan to spend your day waiting around for them. They didn't have the part they needed to repair my window, (not their fault,) but after they did have the part, I had to wait a few more days for a new appt. In total, it took a WEEK to finally get my window repaired. That's crazy. NEVER again. The only reason I even gave them 2 stars is that they did a good job on the window and guy "Brian" who arrived (on the 2nd appt.) to repair the door was great. But ... I would never use Safelite Auto again and just have my window repaired by someone else, as I did last time... which tooks 3 hours in total. So unless you plan to devote a good portion of your life to Safelite... give someone else a call. read more

My window was broken out late August. When they came to fix it they didn't have the correct part. They rescheduled for a month later. The morning of the appointment they called to cancel saying they had the wrong part (without ever coming to see the car). They re-ordered the part (or lied and said they did).Three weeks later after not hearing from them I called to check. They told me it would be in on the 16th of October. On the 19th I still hadn't heard. I called again. She told me the part was in but she missed the email. Set me up for an appointment the next day. Tech shows up - has no part. Tells me it's on order. I call the office. She tells me no manager is available. Transfers me to "executive service." They tell me all three bosses- the GM, Regional Manager and another staff member are on a flight to Vegas - which is interesting beings they told me the three were on a flight when I called and requested to speak to them the week prior. No voicemail available for any of them - but "we can email them for you." So two months after my initial break in I have a window flapping in the door that is not sealed. Water and frost are getting in my car. And NOBODY will help me. DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT use Safelite. They are unprofessional, rude, lacking in all knowledge of cars and will cause you more problems than you had in the first place. read more

We were driving toward Spokane on a road under repair, with a gravel surface, when our windshield was hit with a rock which resulted in a large chip. While we were on the road, I called Safelite Auto Glass and made an appointment for 8:00am the next morning with the facility on E. Euclid Avenue. We thought the windshield would have to be replaced. My boyfriend arrived for the appointment, the staff were friendly and professional and they were able to repair the chip. All of this was finished in one hour and less than 24 hours after it happened. The chip repair is really well done, it's barely noticeable (unless you know it's there). We so much appreciated Safelite staff coordinating with the insurance company, their efficiency, speed and professionalism. read more
