These guys are careless, unethical, and unfit for the repair business. I would never go here again or recommend this place to anyone... I recently purchased an all black car from Carvana that was in excellent condition. More recently, someone hit my back-right passenger-side wheel, breaking my hub-cap on my tire and causing minor scratches around the tire only. After the insurance sent me to Gerber for the repair, I waited a week for them to fix the hub-cap. As I walked up to my vehicle, I immediately noticed apparent deep scratches that were not there before (my car is black so it is very noticeable). I have video recordings of the condition of my car before and after giving it to Gerber for the hub-cap repair, proving that the scratches were not there before. Monica, from Gerber, still denied everything, came up with excuses about the cleanliness of the car and the lighting and angle of the photos taken. She tried to tell me they were pre-existing, which is not the case according to my video proof. These guys are careless, unethical, and unfit for the repair business. I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Gerber. I got a new (to me) car and decided to take it for the first car wash - and the windshield trim piece blew right off as it was going through the dryer! I found Gerber on Yelp and decided to give them a try. They told me to come right over and they'd see if they could help. The quickly identified that the part had been incorrectly installed, called around and found the best price on a replacement part, and after I picked it up, they installed perfectly! I was slammed into by an underage, unlicensed driver and Geico brought me here. So here is my story.... Reception/Staff: Geico has an amazing staff member who really goes out of her way to ensure you understand what's happening. She laid out the pricing, which the at fault party paid, walked the damages and kept me informed every step of the way. I really appreciated everything. The gentlemen who helped me was amazing. I wish I remembered his name, but he didn't try to lie to me, kept it straight and was professional. Service: The service was quick, quality, and on point. My truck looked great and it was seamless. Overall: I loved everything about my experience here, the only downfall was confusion about the deductible. TERRIBLE REPAIR. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!!!!...OR if you value your time, the quality of the repair, and your sanity!! This review is lengthy, if you want to read my horror story then keep scrolling. If your lacking in time: DONT CHOOSE THIS LOCATION!!!! PERIOD. This location has been an absolute nightmare to deal with!!! They don't give a rat's fart about fixing anything the right way. I took my truck in for repair 6 months ago and only just got it fixed properly by another location a few days ago. Gerber on Omaha is incompetent, pay zero attention to detail, and hope that you don't look too closely at their crap work so they can pass by with the least amount of effort on their part. If you point something out they try and deflect by making ridiculous excuses. I told Rudy, a service liaison, that my truck alarm sounded muted/ weird. He was like no that sounds normal. Well RUDY- The Hampton branch confirmed my suspicions and said the alarm speaker was crushed!Thanks Rudy for addressing my concern and at least visually inspecting it before dismissing me. My 2nd issue right out of the gate was when they didn't even notice that they hadn't buffed out the giant scuff on my headlight. 3rd they installed my censors upside down!!! My truck would beep intermittently constantly. I had to drive back and forth to a toyota dealership many miles from my home to get it looked at. Not to mention on my own time + gas- at least 4 times. All in the hopes of determining what the problem was. Eventually a toyota expert discovered the censors had been installed upside down. Now red flags AND bells are going off about this locations integrity and competence. 4th, I took my truck back because the bumper was not flush and the fender was bent in slightly. How could they overlook this? I spoke with Monica the manager, to address this issue. As a little thank you for my patience they filled in a small chip on my windshield so the crack wouldn't spread. Mind you I had to ask for this and big whoop anyways after what I've already dealt with. After I pick up my truck this time, they threw my front mud flap in the back of my truck and never even bothered to put it back on!!!! By this point I'm not a happy camper. Monica in my opinion only told me what she thought I wanted to hear to appease me. Which is incredibly frustrating. I don't want to hear apologies, I just want it to be fixed. Correctly. --during my re-do repair at the other location, I got an update saying they repaired the broken alarm speaker and that they found another clip hinge thing that was broken. So to me, it looks like the Omaha branch didn't bother to fix it- most likely because it wasn't visible from the outside. Cool guys. Thanks for taking such good care of me ;( I have lost sleep over my HORRIBLE experience at this Gerber. I will go out of my way to make sure to post my review on as many platforms as possible so people can make an informed decision to avoid this Gerber Omaha branch AT ALL COSTS. I was referred here by Geico from a recent accident (not my fault, for the record...) to have my front bumper repaired. From the very beginning, Gerber was professional and made my car repair a VERY seamless process. The front Receptionist was cheerful and explained all of the details to me beautifully. They have an onsite car rental division which stepped in to handle my "interim" car also. My rep w/Gerber constantly called my cell w/any updates and gave an accurate ETA of when my car would be finished. My right bumper came back good as new and I was impressed with their quality. I backed into my son's SUV with my brand new Hyundai Elantra SEL that was parked in our drive way while we were out of town. Even so I have a rear view camera, I only looked in the side mirror to avoid my husband's car. I was mad at myself having broken the right rear light We bought a replacement light as on YouTube it looked very easy to replace the rear light. My husband tried for hours, but could not get the broken light out. Gerber Collision on Omaha Street in Mesa had repaired the body damage on my previous Hyundai a couple years ago after a lady plowed into me and they did a fantastic job repairing it (better than new), so my husband suggested I contact them. We went to their repair center on Omaha in Mesa, and the manager Monica had a mechanic repair it on the spot at no charge. Cody, the mechanic took about 15 minutes to replace it. (Estimate, Repair, Rental Car) As soon as I submitted my claim I received a call from Katherine who informed me of the process and set up an appointment the next day. She sent me all the necessary paper work via email to ensure everything was set when I was to arrive the next day due to our current environmental situation. The next day I met with Seth who went over the entire process with me, some history of the shop (since I was first time customer), and through his words the commitment that the shop had towards their work. He lived up to the expectation as the process was smooth, received my car back in 4 days (estimated 7), and went over everything that had been fixed, what was covered, and what to look out for in case anything were to occur after. Acceptable body work, but lookout...CORRUPT!!! After a minor parking lot impact, I took my 2012 Scion in for minor bumper repair and replacement hub caps. It was pre-paid by private party as the repairs were less than $1,000. As part of the repairs, we asked to have the rear alignment checked. They did and surprise, even though the car drove fine their first words were, "you may want to open a claim with insurance now, the rear axle beam needs to be replaced"! Since this was being paid out of pocket, it took it to another shop that specializes in alignments. They put it on their rack and checked it out. No sign of damage and their computer said the alignment was perfect. Getting a second opinion save over $2,100.00 If this were an insurance claim, we never would have taken it for a second opinion. I only wonder how often this shop gets away with this? Pure corruption!!! read more

Went in to get an estimate for some minor damage to my car. Another car had hit by bumper and left paint on my car. The gentleman named Anthony went inside and got a solution and in minutes had the paint off. My bumper is satisfactory now. I commend this business for their integrity. I had a very happy experience with this Gerber branch! I went there earlier for a claim covered by GEICO and I was referred to a third party shop that did a fantastic repair on my soft top. So I went back for a paint job on my car's bumper, hood & doors. Their estimator, Stephanie, did a great job in quickly calculating the estimate on the paint job, that seemed pretty accurate! I was a bit nervous on a third party touching my shiny sports car... but wow... that came out of the paint job nicely! Even the custom striping on my car got fully restored. While my car was in the shop my key FOB broke & Stephanie promptly ordered a new one at their cost. Nothing but positive notes on my experience with this Gerber branch.
