Megan is really great at helping you pick out glasses that look good on you and adjusting them. My eyes are very sensitive to the progressive lenses and she is very patient trying to adjust them for me. The interior houses all the magic. It's a technology advanced optometry office with all the gadgets to get a proper look at your eyes. Their computerized wizardry recommends the best lenses, but they also follow it up with the typical, "what looks better, 1 or 2." They showed me my macula, retina, eye lid glands, eye vasculature, and went through all the important eye self-care tips for eye health and vision longevity. I was impressed with how thorough and well-explained the entire process was. Professional and helpful staff that go the extra mile, well-maintained interior, the best optometrists I've ever been to, and a solid spread of frames to choose from. This optometry practice makes most other competitors look like they're bush league.

I've been wearing glasses for close to 15 years and always dread getting my eyes checked. I've been…read moreto countless places and they are all typically the same experience. You go in do the test and fail to read the smallest line. The Doctor yells at you for not taking care of your eyes/glasses. Scorns you for neglecting to wear sunglasses while driving. The same machines, old-school machines that somehow tell you that you're slowly going blind and doctors that really don't explain WHY everything is blurry, or WHY you see floaters or get headaches or even WHAT astigmatism is. After which they gouge you with this coating and that type of lens and some sort of extended warranty that you will ultimately forget about. But alas, earwax. Such is the life for me. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dosaj at Miller Optometry fully expecting a similar experience but with the added benefit of being able to see again after a disastrous mishap involving superglue and inferior anti glare coating with my current pair of super expensive glasses. For starters. The lecture about taking care of everything was delivered in a way that did not make me feel like I was a failure +1 Star. The initially test was administered with my current glasses with the standard letter chart, But the rest of the equipment that tested my peripherals/ dilation and depth of field were something out of a SciFy story. One of the machines made a 3D model of my eye after dilating it without eye drops or having me have a friend drive me home post exam +1 star. Dr. Dosaj went over every aspect of the exam with me and explained using the 3D model of my eye what exactly problem is and how they can be corrected using proper care and all that. +1 star. The selections of frames and the staff were very nice and helpful in assisting me choose my new face. Generally a process involving me texting pictures to my mom and having her choose. But I was able to make this big boy decision on my own +1 star. Fast forward a week, and I'm here sitting pretty in my new frames; looking flawless and seeing flawlessly. No adjustments necessary +1 star. Thank you Dr. Dosaj and The Miller Optometry fam!

When I checked, my order showed that the glasses would be ready for pickup on 4/30. That date came and went with no call, text, or email notifying me of any delay. I called on 5/1 and was told the glasses would be available on Monday. Monday passed--again, no communication. I called that evening before closing and was told they would have my glasses on Tuesday, 5/5. It is now the afternoon of 5/5, and I still have not received any updates. When I called again, I was told the glasses had not arrived and that they "might" be available sometime this week, but no specific timeline could be provided. It has now been 12 business days, and there seems to be no sense of urgency or concern for the customer experience. Payment was collected promptly, but the product has yet to be delivered, and communication has been consistently lacking. Based on this experience, I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I searched up the ones i got and found them at other places for half the price. I went to costco and there are Gucci, Prada, and other high end glasses that cost less than the Calvin Kleins i bought. The only reason i got them here was because the ones i wanted were no longer carried at other places and the ones here are similar. The more they cost the more out of pocket you have to pay since the insurance only covers so much.

A Clear Winner for Our Family's Vision…read more Let's be real for a second: wrangling a 4, 5, and 6-year-old into any kind of medical office usually requires the patience of a pastor, a pocket full of bribe snacks, and a fistful of miracles. Getting them to sit still for an eye exam and an eye puff machine? I thought my wife and I were setting ourselves up for an absolute circus of horrors. But James Espinosa Optometrist in Highland didn't just survive the chaos of our three little ones--they masterfully orchestrated it. The Vibe & Ambiance: While an optometry clinic isn't exactly a candlelit restaurant, the atmosphere here is incredibly warm and inviting. The waiting area is impeccably clean, bright, and comfortable enough that you don't feel like you're sitting in a sterile hospital ward. The staff are so friendly, we were grateful that Jenny walked us through the whole process and answered all our questions with warmth mixed with professionalism. It feels like a neighborhood staple. This makes sense, given that my family has been coming here for 8 years! The "Menu" (Care, Precision, and Frames): I know most reviews focus on the "taste and presentation" of a location, so let me translate that into the optical world. The "presentation" of their care is top-notch. It is incredibly uncommon to get kids' eyes checked so thoroughly at such young ages (4, 5, and 6), but Doctor Espinosa was an absolute pro. They used age-appropriate techniques to keep the kids engaged, and the results were phenomenal. The "taste" of success here is that their prescriptions were absolutely spot on. My kids are seeing clearly, and the frames they helped us pick out are both durable (a necessity for a 4-year-old!) and look fashionable. Service & Staff: The staff at Espinosa deserves a standing ovation. Not once did they look annoyed by the wiggles or the endless questions coming from my pint-sized trio. They were attentive, incredibly patient, and guided us through the whole process with a smile. Jenny even came through with some clutch chips and meal bars when it came time to dilate their eyes, which totally saved the day. The Plot Twist (And Why We Stay): Here's where the story gets juicy. Out of pure curiosity, we decided to drop in and look for frames at one of those massive, big-box vision franchises with a large selection (that shall remain nameless). Even with the absolute best top-tier vision insurance, the franchise tried to hit me with a mountain of hidden fees and upcharges that made my jaw drop. It felt like buying a used car from an OfferUp parking lot! I immediately ran back to the transparent, honest pricing at Espinosa. They don't play games with your wallet! The Balanced Perspective: If I had to offer one tiny area for improvement, it would be that the parking lot can get a little snug during their busiest afternoon hours. You might have to circle once or twice--but honestly, for the level of care you receive inside, I'd happily park a block away. The Verdict: James Espinosa Optometry Doctor has been our go-to for the last 8 years, and after our recent experience with the kids and the sticker shock of the big-name competitors, we are strictly an Espinosa family. If you want genuine care, precise prescriptions, and a team that treats you like family (and tolerates your toddlers), look no further. Five stars. Highly, highly recommend! ‍‍‍

From…read morethe moment you walk in, it feels personal, they know my name, and the welcome is always genuine. The manager, Jenny, is amazing and truly keeps everything running smoothly. Dr. Espinosa is cool, approachable, and clearly cares about his patients. On my most recent visit, I saw their newer doctor, Dr. Fabrizio, and she took great care of me as well, super attentive and professional. They always have a great selection of lenses and frames, they take insurance, and what I really appreciate is how helpful they are when it comes to choosing frames. They actually give honest feedback and help you decide what looks best, instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own. If you're single and need someone to externally process frames with you, this is definitely the place to go, they've got you covered! Overall, it's just a fun, friendly, welcoming office. They're also Christian-owned, which I really appreciate as a Christian myself. I can't recommend James Espinosa OD enough.
