This isn't a luxury park with water slides or lazy rivers but this is the place if you want to relax and enjoy nature. It is lovely park with grass, trees and a creek. There are trees and bushes between sites making you feel more private. Price is very good. It's easy to get to off I-5. There are big rig sites and many are extra long allowing you to stay hooked up in your site for a quick overnight. The most important, for me, is to support a family owned business and not a big corporation. Service is wonderful. They have a website and are so nice when you call because you prefer talking to a person. If they don't answer because there are out of the office, they call back which isn't always the case at other parks.

We were on the road and couldn't get away from overgrown bushes due to other vehicles in their sites. When we got to our site we looked at our three month old Brinkley to see scratches down the side of it. We were furious and no one was in the office to talk to. This place is very tight when driving through. People have their vehicles past their drive space and there's not a lot of room once you disconnect from your RV. Ours is 42' long plus the length of the truck. We had to angle the truck to park it. Guess what they were doing the day we were leaving. You guessed it, a tree service was there cutting down branches and trimming the giant bushes that were overgrown. Not sure how that helps us

In the morning we woke up to see it's a very nice park. The pull thru site was big with a mini picnic table. I can say the campground was big and very clean and they even have fresh cookies out at 10am. Highly recommend

Talk to her in person & all you get from her as she keeps walking is I'm not doing office stuff right now. I've made several calls. She refuses to talk to us or return our calls. We moved because of her & we couldn't even tell her because she refuses to communicate. What a joke. I lived there before & it was great before Shelly took over. I have several Rv friends that typically stay there when they come to Oregon. But they will not be staying there anymore due to a rude lady managing the place. Flyers up all over being condescending to tenants. Just rude, unclassy & definitely not professional. I will be letting everyone I know not to stay at Dexter shores as they are ok having an adult punk for management when she's literally never there and can't seem to do her job & when she does she's a complete a-hole of a human. Terrible experience. My brother. My dad. My nephew. My sister & My friends all work for umbrella for over 20+ yrs & we move here for some peace & to support HooDoo & all we got was ruined peace. This chic has a terrible reputation in that park by tenants that have lived there for many years. I know due to family currently living there in the mobile homes. I hear daily about the disrespect they've received from this Joker of a woman as well. She needs put in her place & sent down the rd.

Picnic tables, beach, I think I remember grills, a big grassy area - lots of space to spread out and enjoy the day. Seems like a GREAT place to take family and kids. As a county park, there is a no-alcohol policy. While I'm sure some people discreetly partake, that policy adds to the family friendly atmosphere. Our campsite was in the middle with very little privacy or shade, but we walked around and it was one of the only "bad" spots in the place. I reserved it unseen and shortly before we went, so I was just glad to have a spot. If I come again, I'll reserve in advance and get a water view. For us, the camping was secondary as we spent most of the day out on the water. There is a boat launch for larger vessels and a great big parking area to leave your truck and trailer. We were able to park near the grass and air up our inflatable SUPs pretty close to where we put in. We put in near the beach and spent the day paddling around and it was great fun. It's a lovely lake and we had a great time, but not the "most amazing" lake to paddle by any means. I would come again, next time with friends!

She could not book us train travel ("just do it yourself and I'll add it to the insurance") and then it was never added. Second hotel had no shuttle from the train station and we ended up at 9:00 at night trying to call an Uber. When I asked for information on tours I found and asked her to book, she said "It's all online. I'll send you the link." Every time I called or emailed the agent, the message was "I'm either on the phone or out of the office" and then we'd get a vague reply a couple of days later.
