I was really thrilled with the work that Jimmy and Melvin did on our carpets. We have a dog and a cat. The cat is suffering with kidney issues so we had one room that was especially bad. It is so much better! On the rest of our townhome, the carpets had not been cleaned in some time and they look amazing now. George had replaced our carpet on the lower level and I would like to have them come and replace the rest once our little pet moves on. They use a truck mounted cleaner and it really does remove so much dirt! They use plastic protectors under the furniture legs so they do not stain while the carpet is drying. They use a large brush to pull the nap up and it is so soft once it dries. The price was a little bit more than quoted, even with his $50 discount, but the work was so good, I could not complain. I would leave a zero star if I could. The owner's son, Jimmy, is a smooth talker and reassured me that his crew was the best. He made me feel like he was giving me a discount, and because he was one of the few cleaning services that actually responded to my query, I hired them. it was a two-man crew - - Jose and his nephew. The nephew walked around spraying spot cleaner, but there was no scrubbing or any effort at removing stains. What should've taken four hours, took less than two, and when they were finished my carpets were soaked and smelled like mud. It was not, a refreshing clean smell at all. I called Jimmy, and he did his smooth, talking on me, and reassured me once everything dried it would be perfect. Needless to say, it was not. And by the way, there was a section of my house that was not included in the estimate, but Jose was willing to clean it "under the table" if I paid him directly in cash... Today I used my 30 year old upright, Hoover steam vac to redo all of my carpets and the amount of dirt I was pulling out of the carpet was astounding. And it smells great! We first had a Navajo rug cleaned at their office and were very pleased. Our only regret is that we waited so long to have them clean our house. This month, the Ayoubs became the third company in 13 years to clean our basement carpet and steps and they were by far the best. José and Jamal did a fantastic job on the basement and the steps looked almost brand new again. Just as important, there was no chemical odor nor sticky chemical residue, and for the first time, the carpet was completely dry the next day. Their customer service is great and price reasonable. Jimmy worked with us through the whole process to resolve all of our concerns and showed genuine caring and understanding about protecting our parrot from being exposed to any harmful fumes. read more

George Ayoub was referred to me by another carpet cleaning company as they were not doing upholstery. I was even told make sure it's George Ayoub carpet care, not other ones. From the beginning dealing with the son Jimmy; he was professional, conscientious, honest, knew exactly what he was talking about, didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, to the delivery. The crew showed up right on time, supervised by Mr George Ayoub, we went through exactly what needed to be done. They stretched the carpet while the rest of the crew was working on the basement carpet and furniture. They worked for 6 hours and they did an absolutely outstanding job. They moved the furniture, cleaned underneath, and not just cleaned around. They deserve every single penny and I will certainly refer them and use them again for any carpet needs. read more

I didn't even use their service because Jimmy was so honest and helpful regarding what I should do about the peel and stick tiles that I have in my kitchen. from their pictures, the ceramic floors with grout come out amazing, but the pressure from their machines would not work on my flooring. and he even gave me some helpful cleaning hints. what a great, honest company !!! I have used this company, before and have always gotten terrific results but, this time, they have outdone themselves! I have a rather expensive couch covered in a white, cotton/silk fabric. Last year, I adopted a cat who decided the couch was going to be his bed of choice. I didn't notice the damage, at first, but it turned out that he is a very dirty cat who drools when he sleeps.....the combination was terrible. I tried to shampoo the cushions, myself, which just made everything worse. I was just about to have the couch recovered when I decided to call Ayoub's to see what they could do....the cushions were returned about an hour ago, looking brand new! I picked this business because they were transparent on their website about possible solutions for carpet damages, and that it seemed like a family business. They were very responsive, I left a message with the receptionist and Jimmy Ayoub called back within 10 minutes. He was detailed and scheduled a technician to come out a couple days later - which I thought was great. There was a bubble (buckle?) in the middle of our carpet as well as a small damage corner. The technician arrived on time and was able to stretch the carpet and fix the damaged corner, which was great. The only problem is that though the bubble/buckle had diminished, it was still there, and a few days later it got worse. Though not the same size as before, I was disappointed that within just a few days time the carpet bubbled again. I consider the $270 I paid as payment for the damaged corner only. So, I don't know if this is expensive or not but considering the small space and the fact that the carpet itself was inexpensive, I don't think it was worth $270. I would not use again when there are other options out there. read more

He later replaced it with a lower-pile carpet to reduce dust and other allergens, and he found the perfect rug to go with new furniture and paint. I'm very disappointed with the work this company did with my 4 area rugs. Before they came to pick up my rugs they told me they would keep them 2-3 weeks to ensure they'd be like new. They picked up my rugs on a Friday and the very next Thursday they called and said they were ready. I was quite surprised. They delivered the rugs when we were on our way out and we paid the balance and unfortunately did not open the rolled rugs before they left. I was astonished that they weren't much better than they were prior to the cleaning. I called their office and did not get a response. I spent a lot of money and it seems it was just thrown away. Would not refer this company at all. read more

I have employed George Ayoub Carpet Care several times, most recently last Wednesday. They arrived on time, did a survey of the carpet with me, allowed me to smell the products they use (I have fragrance allergies), and proceeded to work. They did an excellent job, as always! I have pets who have left their marks (both dogs and cats), and they said at the outset that they wouldn't be able to remove all the staining.
