It was a no brainer to choose them. When it comes to the work itself, the craftsmanship was very good, the cuts are so clean and everything looks amazing. They did very fast work without sacrificing quality. The only areas for improvement I would say they could have are: - Communication during the days of the project, so you know without having to ask when they are coming, leaving, what the progress is, etc. - Ensuring when they put furniture and things back that they pay attention to things like hooking up HDMIs back to the correct places - Doing a better job of cleanup -- they left behind a TON of dust coating everything, sawdust in my basement that I presume blew in from leaving the garage entrance open where they were working, cans/water bottles left behind - Building in measurement/space for lower flooring to not leave a gap in the trim; they came back and did some caulking after I had a water/rain issue, but it still doesn't look as good -- I wish that their molding/trim solution filled the big gaps and I'm going to have to find a way to do that myself To their credit, they were very fast and responsive when I had a water issue and came back out the next day. I also had a crack in my basement ceiling where something pounded through or pounded the drywall loose from the flooring above being done, and they credited me enough money back to be able to have my handyman fix it. Overall, I would definitely use DFD again.

This review is for our recent experience while shopping for carpet replacement services. Sasan has…read morebeen extremely accommodating since day 1. He was flexible and quick to respond with availability for a site visit. While walking through the home, he gave us several money saving tips and advice on how to replace the carpet with a durable but cost effective option for our rental. He was so patient throughout the entire process. We were supposed to get back to him within the same week with our decision of whether we would move forward or not. There was a miscommunication on our part where i thought my husband was going to book the job, and my husband was under the impression that i was taking the lead on booking the carpet replacement. By the time we both realized the ball got dropped, it had been ONE month since Sasan visited our property. He responded with grace and patience. He gave us absolutely no "attitude" for the delay in response. Instead he made it a point to work around our schedule so we could move forward without any problems or delays. SECOND PART: What really impressed us is Sasan's level of professionalism. Due to unexpected circumstances, we decided to cancel the carpet replacement job one week before installation. Instead of being difficult, Sasan was still just as polite and understanding on the phone and via email. He returned our full deposit within 3 business days of us canceling the job. Not once did Sasan make us feel guilty or accuse us of wasting his time. Although we did not go through with the rental property carpet replacement, we are confident Sasan will be our POC for carpet upgrade in our new home AND I have already provided my mother with his info for her SFH carpet replacement job. Again, this review is for our "experience" only, BUT it shows us this company is dedicated to customer satisfaction through: professionalism, integrity, and reliability.

I originally chose Abbey Design because of your outstanding reviews, and now, having gone through the entire process myself, I completely understand why your customers speak so highly of you. From beginning to end, I felt like your team held my hand through the entire project. Communication was excellent, and I always knew when contractors would be arriving through emails and text updates. Working with Zee in the design showroom was such a great experience. She helped bring all of my ideas together and guided me through so many of the design decisions. Jimmy was absolutely phenomenal as well. From our initial walkthrough through the completion of the project, he was always available, responsive, and made sure everything was handled properly. The finished result exceeded our expectations. We converted two rooms plus a hallway into a master suite as well as split two large upstairs rooms into three. We had structural concerns and lots of logistics to work out and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Mike to draw up the plans to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Al oversaw the projects and was in constant communication with us and regularly was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly. If anything wasn't 100% correct or what we had discussed, he would make sure it was remedied. Big shout out to Franz who even showed up to work the day after his wife had a baby! The M3 team worked late days and on weekends (with our consent) to meet their deadlines, even when the county held them up with permitting issues they still worked hard to finish within our timeframe. We even made major changes to our plans after construction had begun and they were able to pivot and help us get more square footage for the upstairs bedrooms. There were also numerous curveballs that they handled with ease (ya never know what you'll get with an old house). This was our first time doing any sort of large project and the team at M3 gave us plenty of guidance and support to make sure the finished product exceeded our expectations. If you want something done right the first time, then I highly recommend contacting M3!! If we stay in this house then you guys won't be done with us yet! -Cristen, Phil and now +2 (!)
