I wanted to take a moment to let you know how incredibly happy we are with our completed renovations. We had our master bathroom completely renovated, replaced the marble flooring in our entrance foyer with porcelain, and renovated our middle-floor guest bathroom. We truly could not be happier with how everything turned out. I originally chose Abbey Design because of your outstanding reviews, and now, having gone through the entire process myself, I completely understand why your customers speak so highly of you. From beginning to end, I felt like your team held my hand through the entire project. Communication was excellent, and I always knew when contractors would be arriving through emails and text updates. Working with Zee in the design showroom was such a great experience. She helped bring all of my ideas together and guided me through so many of the design decisions. Jimmy was absolutely phenomenal as well. From our initial walkthrough through the completion of the project, he was always available, responsive, and made sure everything was handled properly. The finished result exceeded our expectations. One of my favorite additions is the heated flooring in our master bathroom--I already know I'm going to love it this winter! The entire bathroom feels like a beautiful luxury spa in our own home. Thank you to Zee, Jimmy, and the entire Abbey Design & Remodeling team for making such a large renovation project a wonderful experience. We absolutely love our home and all the beautiful updates! A Shout Out to Abbey Design in Sterling for the absolute wonderful experience upgrading our master bath. Zed, Jimmy & Geronimo were awesome partners in this daunting process. They kept me informed, stay on or even before timeline due dates. Work was exceptional, any questions and/or issues (there was only a couple little issues) were immediately addressed and corrected. The crew working in my home daily, were respectful, pleasant and very hard workers with amazing skills. Thank you for assisting us with the bathroom of our dreams. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Abbey design with our recent kitchen remodel. We will definitely use this company again in the future.

This is the second time I have used Abbey for a remodel (the first was a top-notch master bathroom remodel). They did an AMAZING job remodeling my kitchen. The remodel included removing a wall and installing all new cabinetry, a huge new island, new appliances, new lighting, and new flooring (which included new flooring throughout that level and up the stairs, the landing, and 2 of the bedrooms. I have received countless compliments on everything! Not only does everything look great, but I also can't say enough about the Abbey team--from the management and designer to the craftsman (who are nothing short of artists). They are professional, have great communication, are very responsive, and are just nice people to work with. I would highly recommend Abbey to anyone looking to remodel. You will not be disappointed. read more

My designer reached out looking for help obtaining specific bits for kitchen addition, very small job overall. Abbey was more then willing to help us get the materials we need quickly and from the manufacturers we were looking for at great cost and speed. No matter the job it never hurts to reach out and we wanted to thank Abbey for help on our project! read more

I just called the showroom to ask if they were open for me to come in. I was immediately asked what project I was interested in. I stated I had a kitchen design and knew what I wanted just needed to finalize with a designer. I tried to tell the woman on the phone I wanted to come in today and she interrupted me by telling me I needed to know the manufacturer of the cabinets. I told her I didn't know which manufacturer but was aware that there are long wait times for materials. I then tried to explain to her that I have a installer and wanted to purchase materials. I was unable to even finish my sentence as she talked over me and interrupted me again by telling me what I should do. I ended up having to hang up, very disappointed. Why do I want to bring my hard earned money there? Is she hard of hearing or really that rude... especially when I am trying to give you at least a cool 50K for my first project. You missed out lady.... I have 3 projects $$$$$$ read more

We cannot be happier with the installation of the carpet on our staircase. The installer did an amazing job and the end result is amazing. Great job! read more

My wife and I are about 95% complete on a project where Abbey Design & Remodel finished our basement. We interviewed nine contractors and ultimately decided on Abbey for several reasons. 1. The fact that they are a one stop shop made everything so much easier. Instead of shopping for tile, counters, flooring, etc. we were able to go to the design center and create a truly custom basement with the help of their designer and an incredible selection of material. 2. Architectural design excellence--we had some specific requirements that went beyond opening load baring walls (which they did). We had to have bathroom access from the bedroom and primary space and they were able to create a design that was differentiated. 3. The crew! Jeo, Diaz, Ray and Jimmy were incredible. They showed up on time every day, were a pleasure to work with and were happy to make small on the spot adjustments as we requested them. They were also outstanding with communicating with us at each step, were quick to respond to questions, etc. They finished (still have 1-2 days left!) on time, on budget and we are thrilled with the outcome. read more

Roy G. Our bathroom remodel was completed in a very timely manner once all the products were received (shipment delays). Ray, our project manager was incredibly responsive and professional in all his interactions with us. The employees and contractors were friendly, competent, hard-working and also responsive to our needs and timeframes. There was no question regarding their competence, honesty or work ethic. Abbey certainly isn't the least expensive remodel company out there, but we are very pleased with the final product and we would certainly consider them again for any future project. read more

Based on the recommendation of a friend/neighbor we chose Abbey Flooring for the installation of new hardwood flooring on our main floor and carpet in the finished basement. The selection is amazing. Great variety of styles and prices. Everyone from Kass in the showroom to Nick and the installation crews were all friendly, helpful, communicative, and professional. read more

Once they finished my kitchen dining room floors I started thinking It could not have been done any better. they offered the right flooring installer was professional and price was right. I thank you and will strongly recommend your services to all. read more

The entire carpet replacement experience was fabulous from Kas in the showroom and estimation to Nick's installation crew just a few days ago ... They presented a great product at a good price and installed it efficiently and beautifully ... The crew moved from fairly open flat work easily to more complex, edge stitched stairs without a pause ... We moved much of the furniture out to ease the way, but they handled a furniture loaded loft easily ... They finished with taking away all of the existing carpet and pad ... huge relief ... Very highly recommended ... read more

This is the second time we purchased a new carpet at Abbey Design Center and had them install it for us. Our project executive Zied set up everything was us via email and phone. He was very customer friendly and competent. The warehouse manager Nick was also great in coordinating the delivery and installation date + time with us via email and providing us with all the necessary information. The installation crew showed up on time and worked quickly efficiently. They cleaned everything up before they left and took the old carpet with them. We are very happy with our new carpet as well as the service provided by Abbey Design. read more

The Abbey team did an amazing job remodeling my master bath. The project manager, Geronimo, was a consummate professional who worked with me daily to ensure things were to my liking. He was great about making small adjustments on the fly and worked hard to ensure things stayed nice and tidy. They went to the trouble of covering the floors every day to ensure my wood floors didn't get damaged. The end products have perfect lines and corners and the work was overall immaculate. read more

Excellent work from an excellent company! I can not say enough great things about this company. I love my kitchen and hardwood floors. The workers were very professional and thorough. They worked so hard and did an amazing job. Great quality from a great company. Thanks Jimmy for seeing everything was done to perfection. Thank you Andres for your dedication and listening to my needs. Thank you Chris in Leesburg store for helping me pick out the most beautiful floors!! You are all amazing! Carlene read more

We are so appreciative of Jimmy and his team from Abbey! Our kitchen renovation went extremely smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the result. The team was communicative throughout the process and set reasonable expectations for timelines. They were mindful of our budget and explained all changes. The project began and finished sooner than anticipated! Fawzi and his team explained each step of the process, answered questions, kept a clean workspace, and were surprisingly quiet for a renovation project (I work from home). Our final kitchen is beautiful, well-built, and looks better than we could have envisioned. Abbey provided a wonderful experience and kitchen for us. read more

We hired Abby remodeling to remodel our kitchen.they were extremely professional courteous on time. Mr. Jimmy and Miss Zee helped us through the whole project which took almost 4 weeks as they had told us when we were writing the contract. We are extremely satisfied with their service and we recommend them to our neighbors and family if they like to do remodeling or just installation. read more

We had our main level carpeting done by them in 2008. The carpets themselves were very nice, but the installation was horrible. Within 5 years all the carpets had buckled, and had to be restretched. Now, they need to be restretched again. This floor is over a finished heated basement. No problems down there. Our upper floor carpets have been here for over 20 years, no stretching or buckling up there either. read more

We just had new carpeting installed in our basement and I wanted to commend the employees at Abbey Design in Sterling. Kass Hamedi was my wonderful sales consultant. He was very knowledgeable about the different types of carpet available and extremely helpful and kind. He even gave me several large, empty boxes he happened to have so I could pack up our basement, and helped me load my car with them. Once the carpet was ordered, I spoke with the very efficient and polite Nick Hetrick and set up my installation appointment easily. A couple of weeks after ordering, a very professional crew came out to do the installation. Our new carpet is beautiful and completely refreshes the look of our old basement. Thanks to Abbey Design Center and specifically Kass, Nick, and crew. Much appreciated! read more

We purchased a hardwood floor through Abbey Design Center in April 2014 after using them previously for carpeting and having a positive experience. This time around it was a disaster. The installation was terrible and the installers damaged the floor during the job.they attempted to come back and fix the problem, but made it even worse. Now we have two different lots of wood on our floor and the finish and color are different. Additionally, the wood is poor quality and scratches and dents easily. Our complaints have not been addressed to our satisfaction and their inspection says our floor is "industry standard". I beg to differ. Bottom line: we will never use this company again nor would we refer them to anyone else. read more

Had a whole house carpet install and the installers messed up one room on the first day of two. We called that same day and was told someone would come by the very next day. We received confirmation someone would come by that next afternoon. No one came and didn't return calls. We did not have anyone come out until next Tuesday. We showed them the seam and the damage done to our walls. Instead of taking responsibility for the seam they tried to get it covered under warranty and made us wait two weeks for the manufacturer to come out and assess. They found the installers installed incorrectly. We had to wait another two weeks for Abbey to order the new carpet. They sent the same installers without scheduling it with us, they just showed up who left even more marks on the walls. It took another 6 weeks to get them to come and repair the marks on the walls. When they finally come and we show them they disagree (even though weeks ago they admitted to the damage) and claim they didn't make those marks and that there will aways be incidental marks. This was not an occasional scuff mark, these were black marks high on the walls where they moved furniture or laid rolls of carpet against the wall. The person who came was yelling at me in my home and was very unprofessional. If it wasn't his job to take care of this, he needed to escalate it. Nobody at this company accepts blame and tries to take care of the customer. From the very beginning error with the seam to now with the wall damage. read more

We used Abbey for floors and they did a very bad job, finishing is very bad and the grout is not cleaned properly like the hard grout is all over the tiles and couldn't able to clean, and paid lot of money for the service that is so bad. Also the kitchen floors, all the grout came off in no time and what a waste of money that we spend for bad work. Even when we called about this, a person came and said they did a very bad job and took all the pictures and told he will talk and do something about it and later never heard from him. read more

Although the finished product (floor) was good and looks nice, a few things that need their attention: Workers immediately pulled down their masks when they started working. I had to ask them three times to wear. Workers were not careful when moving furniture/appliances. I had many scrapes on furniture (everything was covered) and cabinets as well as damage to an expensive appliance. They did whatever they had to do to get the job done without care of personnel property nor contacting the homeowner when damage did occur. They cut corners which thankfully I caught in advance so they had to redo part of the floor. They took free rein of my home and did not ask in advance if they could use rooms they had no reason to be in. While using my garage to cut flooring, etc. they must have done something to part of my painted floor, as there is a different color where a section was painted over using what looks like their skimming material. You basically need to watch them closely the entire time. I'm sure this is with most contractors, which is unfortunate due to the prices they charge. read more

We got quoted $35,000 JUST for our master bath. I have to say that months later we did our bathroom Reno for way way less than that. This place is NOT for those on a budget or for people who don't mind running to Home Depot or ordering their own materials or tiles. You have to buy all the materials from Abbey. The only nice thing but still not worth the expensive prices they have is that they seek out and go through any permit process for you. Since ours was mostly cosmetic we didn't need this anyway. Just don't be surprised when they charge you a fortune for not a lot of work. read more

Abbey Design replaced the carpet on our upper level as well as our stairs with hardwood floors. Our salesman, Kass, was very helpful in guiding me through the decisions involved and made sure we stayed within our budget. He was also considerate of which flooring would best suit our family (which includes small children and a dog). Kimo was our contractor and I can honestly say I have never seen anyone work so diligently. He is very talented. We are very happy with the outcome! read more

2 April 2014 Memorandum for the Management of the Abbey Design Center and others to whom it may concern Subject: Personal Commendation for a Job WELL DONE In October, My wife and I contracted with Abbey for the upgrade and modernization of two bathrooms, a hall bath and our master bath. While our home, built in 1983, is in excellent condition, we felt we needed modernization in those two areas. Beginning with the initial planning sessions the process went very smoothly. Our Project Manager, Jimmy Nazem, developed the plans for the new rooms and carried them out efficiently. He and Justin Goodman created innovative designs including storage that greatly facilitated the maximum use of space and created one of the few bathrooms equipped with television. Their attention to detail was instrumental later in overcoming production schedule problems caused by need to replace cabinets damaged in shipment. Jimmy coordinated and scheduled the assignments and tasking of a truly professional team of workmen. It is rare today to find enough excellent craftsmen to accomplish work that needs to be done. It is pleasure to find a production team entirely composed of conscientious, enthusiastic, well-trained and skilled craftsmen. Abbey has them and uses them well. There were no unsolved problems. Jimmy was on top of problem areas before we knew they existed. I must specifically mention the most capable team of Jeovanny Molina and Christian Guardado. These two professionals accomplished tasks in every area of production including plumbing, electrical and the inevitable problems of converting a room built thirty years ago to meet the standards of the twenty-first century. They overcame every challenge they faced. It was a pleasure to work with Jimmy and the team he provided to solve our modernization challenges. I know Abbey and he are proud of all of them. There is no higher praise I can give than to extend to Jimmy and his team a warm and sincere WELL DONE. I would be pleased to work with Abbey and Jimmy's team again in the future. Chose Abbey to redo the carpet on the stairs up to my main level. Doing business with them was so easy and they carry beautiful designer carpet which is what I wanted. We purchased a high quality carpet (Mohawk) from Abbey Carpet designs in Sterling. After installation, we noted pulls in the loops throughout the living room 20x20 size. We have a medium golden doodle and have her groomed regularly. Our sales rep came to the house and filed a complaint on our behalf with Mohawk. Mohawk sent their own rep who deemed the carpet was acceptable and cited the dog as the problem. Abbey did not do anything to help repair, refund, or even offer another product. There was no solution given. We spent a lot of money on this carpet and will never buy from this store again. They did not stand by their product! read more

Less than a year ago we had countertops and flooring installed, along with a new sink. When our sink's pipe system failed on a Friday I was sure it was going to be a long weekend. I reached out to Nick Hetrick to see if we were under warranty and if he could help me out. He remembered us and said he could help. A little after noon, Robert arrived at my house and handled the problem (in the midst of a houseful of noisy kids!) and my sink was fixed before 2pm. AMAZING service--same day service even! Sherry W. of Abbey Design Center was a great help. All we knew was that we wanted to add a coffee bar, wine bar & serving area in our dining room. She took our look from college dorm to sophistication. After viewing our other furniture and asking a few questions about our lifestyle she came up with a plan we liked right away. She matched our other furniture in style and color. Her suggestion for the granite perfectly complimented the other colors in the room. She even suggested some lighting options that are just icing on the cake. Everyone raves about how great it looks. We are planning some other projects in our house and we will be calling Sherry. Thanks! read more

Abbey Design Center installed new carpets for bedrooms and new hardwood floor for our living room and we are tremendously pleased with the fantastic results! After spending considerable amount of time and researching through many stores and options for carpets and hardwood floor installation, we chose Zied and his team at Abbey Design Center for our project. It was a real pleasure to work with Zied. He is extremely knowledgeable about all available options for installation of carpets and hardwood. He showed utmost sincerity, trustworthiness and professionalism and unlike most people in the market, Zied's primary concern and attention is always focused on our satisfaction and happiness. He went out of the way and was kind enough to give good discounts for our satisfaction! We were also very pleased with the selection and variety of carpets and hardwoods. I strongly recommend Zied and Abbey Design Center to anyone interested in carpeting, flooring or any kind of interior remodeling! read more

We had wood floors installed by Abbey Design in October of 2017 and couldn't be happier. We had a great team! Had hardwood floor installed in my living area from the Leesburg Store. The floors are great and the installation went well. It took 2 full days to install the floor in the living area, entryway and 3 steps. Ordering the floors was easy, however I was told it would take 2 - 3 weeks to come in. It took 8 weeks to finally have the floor installed. Would probably use them again, if I'm not in a hurry to get the work done fast. read more

Abbey Design Center recently put new laminate and carpet in our basement. I had gotten 2 other companies to give me quotes but I easily went with Abbey after meeting with Chris. Nick was great to work with. He was flexible in changing installation dates to meet my schedule. He had fabulous communication and follow up. We had hardwood floors installed across about 1,200 square feet of our home in late April. I cannot speak highly enough of the Abbey crew. From start to finish, they were professional, friendly, and provided immaculate service. Kass was prompt to come to my home for a free estimate, and I asked him his opinion on the type and color of wood. I ended up taking his advise and couldn't be happier. The crew was wonderful, and they finished the job 1/2 a day early. I had to reschedule the floors three times due to the weather, and that was never an issue for them. We have already had them back to take more measurements so they can replace other flooring. I highly recommend Abbey and I won't go anywhere else for home remodeling. read more
