We selected Royal Floors to replace our kitchen floors because they're a local, small business. We stopped in on 12/8 just to look around, and Reza was extraordinarily helpful, and even came to our house about 30 minutes later to give us an estimate. The price was fair, the work was scheduled quickly. The team showed up nice and early in the morning, and were done at about 4pm, and when they were done, the floor looked amazing. Start to finish, everything done in less than two weeks. I would very highly recommend Royal Floors, and plan on using them for future jobs. read more

I had the kitchen, dining room and entry way hardwood floors replaced over 2 years ago and Amin Jenati worked with the insurance company to make certain that it was covered since there was water damage. The new flooring was installed and looked great. I called Amin about 3 or 4 times over the past 2 years as I wanted boards replaced, etc. Amin was always so easy to work with and always called me back to let me know when the work could be done. He is great working with people especially me as I can be a bit of a "pest" and never made me feel like I was a bother to him. I would recommend Royal Floors to anyone without reservation. I just replaced the wall-to-wall carpeting in my family room, stairs and hallway, and it turned out beautifully. Amin (the owner) was easy to work with and knowledgeable about the flooring products and options available to me. He placed the order directly with Shaw (the carpet manufacturer) and contacted me as soon as it arrived to schedule my installation. The carpet and padding were delivered on schedule without any issues. His installers were punctual, professional, and experienced. I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy from Royal Floors and would do so again. read more

Amin at Royal Floors in Herndon was exceptional to do business. He is helpful kind and meets his delivery dates. He went above and beyond when one of our contractors failed to arrive for pre work on my walls prior to having my floors installed. Amin, sourced a new contractor and was able to have them do the work we needed the next day. Our floors and walls are beautiful! I am very pleased with Amin and Royal Floors. read more

Honestly we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Royal. It's a no pressure environment and they help with all the key decisions based on your situation. The workers showed up on time and were very professional. Would highly recommend them! read more

Amin Jenati at Royal Floors was a pleasure to work with. I'd done some extensive research (and my father is in textiles, so I had his input as well), and Amin's answer to every question was on target. He was honest, helpful, and extraordinarily kind. Selection was good, his visit to do the measuring was a pleasure, and he worked to give me a price that beat other estimates for the same carpet. His installers were friendly, careful when moving furniture, and worked hard. They took the time to hammer in any nail pops and screwed down the plywood in numerous places where we had squeeks. Even so, they finished the job sooner than we expected, and we were very pleased with the results. I would recommend Royal Floors to anyone without reservation! read more

I hired Royal Floors to redo my kitchen and part of my living room area to replace damaged wood from water damage and pet stain. Amin was very responsive to my communication from the beginning to the end. His invoice was very clear and stated what material will be used. His crew arrived on time and was very polite. They listened to my concerns and did a great job with my floor. The color of the wood they used matched perfectly to the other part of my floor that's not being replaced. The pricing was very reasonable and they left my house clean. I would definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend! read more

The owner is extremely easy to work with, knows all the products well, and gave us plenty of time to try samples in our home. After we agreed to on the product and terms, the crew was on time, very professional, clean, and completed the exemplary work in record time. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none. We are pleased with the new look in our home, and hope to do business again. Thank you, Royal Floors! read more

Royal Floors - Flooring Near Me - Herndon, Virginia

We were so impressed with Amin at Royal Floors. We already knew exactly what we wanted and when we called he was able to give us a rough estimate over the phone. When we were ready to have him come and measure he offered to come that day. He measured, sat down and wrote out the estimate for us right then and there along with a breakdown of what we were paying for. The flooring was installed less than a week later and looks incredible. We highly recommend Royal Floors! read more

We used Royal Floors again when it was time to remodel a bathroom. They redid the bathroom floor and retiled the shower/tub. It was a beautiful job and super reasonably priced. Amin was once again so great to work with and made sure we were totally satisfied. We have another bathroom due for a remodel and we'll be back to Amin again! read more

They were fantastic. They help me finding just what I was looking for within my budget. Highly recommend!

Amin is great. This is my second time using Royal floors (both times for carpet replacement for my rental property), and I'll probably come back if I end up doing hardwood floors when I sell the place. Amin actually came to the property himself just to make sure the measurements were right and that the job would go smoothly. He also made time for me on a day that was pretty tight. My only (picky) compliant is that when the carpet guys were done with the job, they left a lot of carpet residue in the parking garage where they parked their van - to the point where my condo mgmt office e-mailed me about the residue. But overall, great job on the carpet installation! read more

Our experience started out well and then crashed and burned. Ended up paying $5K for a floor that clicks when you walk on it. I can't imagine how this place got so many good reviews--I suggest you avoid them. I know this is a lengthy review but so many things went wrong I can't make it shorter. We need to replace flooring and carpet after a flood in our basement. My husband called several flooring companies and gave them the dimensions of the basement to get estimates. Amin was the most responsive and his prices seemed fair. We went to the store and he was helpful in making selections. When he came to our house, he said the carpet could be repaired and didn't need to be replaced. (This was after another flooring company came to look and said the carpet would need to be replaced). So we were very happy. Amin said the carpet guys would come first and when they were done he would schedule a day for the flooring guys. When the carpet guys came, they said Amin was wrong, that the carpet couldn't be repaired the way he said it could, and that flooring always has to go in before carpet so he shouldn't have scheduled them first. I called Amin, told him he needed to talk to them and get this straightened out. After much back and forth, carpet people said they would draw a line on the basement floor showing how far the flooring needed to be extended so they could salvage part of the carpet. Told Amin I was annoyed that I took a day off from work and nothing was done. He was apologetic and said he would schedule the flooring guys and then the carpet guys on the same day so that I wouldn't have to take off two more days. I was skeptical that it could all be done in one day but he said it could. Amin gave me a date and I arranged to be home. He then called me and said the flooring hadn't all come in so we needed to switch the date. I told him I had rearranged my schedule for the date he gave me and they had to come that day. He said he would pick up the flooring himself from the supplier so we could stick to the original date. The day of installation, Amin came with the flooring guys. None of the three flooring guys could speak English, which made it difficult to communicate what needed to be done. Amin left, they started working, and shortly afterwards two of the three flooring guys left. Only one stayed to do the work. It was clear to me it he wouldn't be done by the afternoon. In the afternoon, the carpet guys arrived, of course the flooring wasn't finished, and the carpet guys had to wait around. When it was time for the flooring guys to move the furniture back in place, it was like a bad comedy routine. They were careless and I was surprised nothing got broken. I will say the new flooring looks absolutely beautiful, but when you walk on it makes a clicking noise. My husband called Amin back to complain about the clicking noise. Amin said it's normal for it to click if it's installed in a basement and it needs to be waterproof. He said putting more padding down underneath would make it less waterproof. This is something he should have told us from the beginning--who expects their floor to make a clicking noise? Frankly, I think the flooring guys were so rushed that they didn't install it properly and Amin was just making excuses. read more

We had new upstairs carpet and kitchen tile repair done by Royal, all of which was very good. Amin was professional and responsive and the price was fair. The tile work was repair from a previous contractors work and was very well done and the actual installers were conscious of our house and times of of day, dog etc. Would certainly use them again. read more

We had the carpeting replaced in our home prior to putting it up for sale. Amin came in to do the estimate and made some suggestions. On installation day (less than a week later), the team arrived ahead of schedule and did a superb job. We got really lovely carpet with upgraded padding for LESS than the competitors and in fact less than what we paid when we put in the carpet back when we moved in! The carpeting looked beautiful and Amin was very friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. I could not be happier with Royal Floors and have recommended several people looking for flooring to check them out. If I ever need flooring again, this is where I'm coming! read more

We payed top price for installing laminate flooring and baseboards. The floor were good but they did a horrible job in installing the baseboards. See attached pictures for some samples of their work and this is after we complained and they sent a guy to "fix". Total lack of attention to detail, left my walls dirty with handprints, a couple of walls damaged and cigarette buds in the front yard. The only positive is how quickly they were in scheduling the job. read more

I hired Royal Floors to refinish our hardwoods on the main level, install hardwoods on the top level, install a runner and do some tile work. Royal Floors also created a beautiful tile design in the front entryway of my home. Amin the owner of Royal Floors is very easy to work with, and pro in his trade, Royal Floors prices are very reasonable, and Amin and his team took excellent care of my furniture during the process, they actually put back all furniture to where they were and fixed all my subfloor noises prior to installation for free. I highly recommend Royal Floors. read more

Horrible service! Suggested I must have most expensive carpet for bedroom. I wanted a quote on having my whole house refinished and since they couldn't come that day we were in the store, I guess we don't even get a call to set up an appointment! My wife and I recently had Royal Floors of Herndon install tiles in the foyer of our new home as well as wood floors on the 2nd floor (in Reston). Working with Amin, the owner, was a great experience from start to finish. I had many questions and concerns due to the slightly uneven sub floor of my home. Amin was patient and took his time to answer all my questions and come up with solutions that worked for our home. He made multiple trips to our home to check out the floors to ensure his crew was prepared for installation day. It's always a pleasure to meet business owners who understand the importance of customer service. read more

We had a very good experience with Royal Floors. Reza worked with us over the course of several weeks to select carpeting for our basement. There were a couple of small hiccups along the way getting the correct swatches due to some miscommunication, but in the end we got the perfect carpet and were very pleased. The installation guys also deserve a big thumbs up. read more
