I felt completely confident leaving my car in their care. I was able to call and ask for updates and every time I spoke to someone, I was impressed with how nice they are. I found George & Ken's looking for a Tesla-authorized body shop for damage to our Model X. Not only did George & Ken's estimate cost less than Tesla's own body shop estimate, they were able to fix it sooner than Tesla could see us (~2 week wait to get in with G&K--with 1 week to do the work--versus a two MONTH wait to get into Tesla, who told me the work would then take about 2 weeks). The car came back cleaned--inside and out!--with all damages fixed. In the process, it appeared that one of the side mirrors had been damaged. They offered to fix it free of charge - I just needed to wait for them to order the part (plastic snap-on piece that buffets the side mirrors) and return. Beyond the excellent service and price, the guys there are all friendly, polite and easy to deal with. As a woman, I especially appreciated not feeling like I was being fleeced or talked down to. Anyone who has had work done on their car has experienced the pain of things costing more than the estimate, and work taking longer than you were told. I recommend George & Ken's to avoid these issues, and for a great-looking car when all is said and done. read more

If you need your Tesla repaired and have insurance to cover you, DO NOT GO HERE. Or honestly if you have a Teska at all, just do not go. The Needham location offers somewhat cheaper rates but their logistics are horrible. I got a quote and gave my deposit in early October(they cashed by deposit right away). They said the parts would not arrive until late November. Late November comes and I do not hear anything from them. I keep calling them every week since late November until finally they said the parts arrived by December 14. At that point I am away on holiday and said I would not be back until January. We set up an appointment and time. I come back January and find out my appointment was canceled and they used my parts for another car. What's worse is they threw away my file and had no evidence that they ever cashed in my check. I had to show them my bank statements and a photocopy only my check for them to believe me. Even so, the situation was not resolved until February. 4 months of nothing! I took my tesla to a collision center and within 3 weeks got a confirmed appointment and parts delivered. Tesla owners do not come here. read more

Absolutely avoid this place for Tesla repairs! It's a complete mess--constant delays with part orders despite my relentless follow-up calls. When the parts finally arrived, we scheduled an appointment, only to find out that they had canceled it and used the parts on another vehicle. They even managed to lose all evidence of my file and tried to claim they hadn't cashed my check (I had to involve my bank to prove otherwise). Brought my Tesla model 3 in for a rear bumper replacement much to my surprise the car was ready in four days. I say much to my surprise because we've owned teslas for the past four years and every time we need bodywork it takes weeks if not over a month but not here. Usually a good auto body shop will repair the look of your car back to new and George & Ken's certainly did that for my new Tesla Model 3. But going over and above, they cleaned my car inside and outside, making it look brand new. A plastic stain from a bag that had been sitting on the hot front seat was gone and the beige floor mats that had accumulated dirt from my many riders (I am an Uber/Lyft driver), were thoroughly cleaned and looked great. I used to take my car to another body shop in the neighborhood, but couldn't book with them without having to wait a few weeks. I chose George and Ken's because of the location and Yelp ratings, and was not disappointed. Dan was extremely nice and my car came out looking new. I am very pleased with their work. The car required me to take it to a nearby mechanic after the body work. This would've required me to time out of work to do, but Dan took care of that for me. It was certainly not expected but very much appreciated. I hope I will not require any body work done in the near future, but when it does happen, George and Ken's will be my first option moving forward. read more

Based on a suggestion from someone whose opinion I trust AND the fact that their shop was close by and convenient to my home, I decided to give them a try. When I called, they said bring the car in the same day. DeWayne, the manager, reminded me several times (before, during and after) that they stand by their work to my complete satisfaction. I brought my car in to George and Ken's to get my passenger side door repaired. Someone had opened the door into a cement post and chipped the paint in two spots. When I brought my car in I was told the entire door did not need to be repainted, as other places had told me. The chips just needed to be sanded down and repainted. I am thrilled with the work that was completed. The door looked flawless and I could not even tell where it was repaired. These are the best guys in town and hands down the best I have ever been to.
